Jessica Robb, journaliste pour la chaîne d'information canadienne CTV Edmonton, a subi une urgence médicale alors qu'elle était en direct dans la nuit du 8 janvier, comme l'a rapporté Canada Today. Elle parlait avec l'hôte Nahreman Issa lors d'un reportage sur le terrain lorsqu'elle a commencé à marmonner et à se répéter. On peut la voir en train de dire : "Désolé Nahreman. Je, je, je ne me sens pas très bien en ce moment, et je suis sur le point de..." Dans la vidéo qui est rapidement devenue virale en ligne, on peut voir Jessica Robb avoir du mal à parler et à manquer de mots. À un moment donné, elle a l'air perplexe et semble perdre l'équilibre. Le jeune journaliste a été presque vu s'effondrer avant que le flux en direct ne passe de Mme Robb à Mme Issa dans le studio d'information, a précisé le média. Remarquant cela, Mme Issa interrompt et dit: "D'accord, nous reviendrons vers vous et nous nous assurerons que Jessica, vous allez bien." #Memories from when my brother @garrettpich and I ventured to the Whitemud Creek Arch last summer. (These photos have not been previously posted) • Also known as the Whitemud Creek Crossing, it is situated just east of Rabbit Hill Road NW, underneath the Anthony Henday Drive, includes a pedestrian / bike trail above the creek. When you drive along the Anthony Henday all that is visible is the top part of the Oculus. The white circular opening barely gives anything away as to what lies below, and if you blink you will miss this while you drive by at 100km per hour. This is my favourite part of the structure and my brother and I have been referring to this place at “The Oculus”. The decorative compass letters are installed inside the concrete walls of the Oculus. The Anthony Henday Drive’s southwest quadrant crosses Whitemud Creek, located in a ravine 300 metres wide and 18 metres deep. The site was once used for underground and strip coal mining, so the foundation conditions were very poor. The crossing had to protect the wildlife and fish habitat and a pedestrian and bicycle path had to be provided. Designed by HFKS Architects and completed in 2005; the fascinating structure is a unique semi-circular arch spanning 20 metres, supported on 7 metre high walls and closely spaced drilled rock-socketed piles. The pedestrian-bike path is raised within the arch, 7 metres above the creek. High enough to give my brother 15 minutes of vertigo.
