We call ourselves a Canine instead of a wolf or dog because we are equal parts wild as we are domesticated. Dangerous and violent with a high prey drive and little manners. To warm and cozy wrapped up in bed, watching whatever the humans have put on TV.

We are simultaneously bipedal and walking on all fours. Able to talk and function as human to not.

Our canine identiy is incredibly fluid, and it can change withing moments. It's why we will never pick a solid label for this side of our identity

I don't identify as otherkin or Therian. I identify solely as non-human, in my heart and soul. That doesn't mean I don't take part in the community, enjoy the posts made by those who identify as either if those labels. The community needs to become more accepting towards those with an uncommon label, with lesser known non-humanness.
