I just think its great that after recording early sunsets over Monroeville that because Gerard's voice was SO incredibly sad and they hadn't adjusted to him being their vocalist instead of just their friend,the entire band had to step outside for a smoke break to stop themselves from crying.

but also his voice was only that sad and strained at the end of the song because he had a toothache and it hurted
