They can’t actually rotate any text so all their emoticons show up sideways. Because they’re cringefail. Important electra trait to me.

what are ur thoughts on phoenix and maya's relationship? saw a post the other day talking about how they're not really sibling coded and it got me thinking. (ie the fandom kinda shoe-horned them into that)

personally i think maya was ride or die for him from the moment he got arrested for her (see her offer to break him out of there) but didn't really see him as a sibling until later (maybe when she gives him the magatama?) whereas i think phoenix felt like he had to look after her for mia, but didn't really see her as a sibling until farewell my turnabout.

Honestly to me, they're just really good friends, legitimately the other person's best friend ever! Kind of like platonic soulmates if that makes sense! I used to also really lie the found family trope, but fandom just basically turned it into the nuclear family with extra steps, and that defeats the point of it to me. I definitely think they consider the other family, but there's not that specific role they'll assign to the other person-- just a sort of nebulous concept of family, like home is where the heart is rather than 'siBLiNgSsSsS!!", hence, platonic soulmates XD I really like your breakdown of the relationship, I think Maya definitely warmed up faster to Phoenix than he did to her, she just kind of seems like that kind of person that can figure out someone's vibes, where Phoenix is definitely a lot more guarded. She's not afraid to be more vulnerable, even as early as 1-4 where she says she wishes she didn't wake up. It definitely shows that Phoenix is still super guarded around her when he absolutely refuses to even talk about Edgeworth's "death". I think 2-4 was sort of a wake up call for him, not only because he had to step up to make sure Pearl was doing okay, but it was when he realized he really did care for Maya a lot, she's not the Chief's little sister, she's HIS friend Maya!! It really makes T&T really special where they kind of have this unique rapport that wasn't seen before, where Phoenix is somewhat more playful/relaxed/open with her (until the ex-girlfriend shaped elephant lingers in the room, which, honestly, fair, who would really want to open up about THAT mess?) So yeah, hope you enjoyed my little ramble!! :D

sometimes i get really sad thinking about mia and how short her life got cut. like. she was 27 but still had so much ahead of her. she was going to avenge and find her mom and her boyfriend was comatose and she waited every single day for him to wake up because she loved him and she still had maya and pearl to care for and protect from their aunt and she had phoenix to watch grow and develop as a lawyer. and all of that was taken away because some corrupt capitalist with horrible fashion sense didn’t want his reputation ruined.

Daisy from Secret Crush on You. I loved everything about Daisy! She was loud and animated and allowed to be flamboyant and extra without being a joke. She was a really great friend who demanded and deserved respect. Also it was extremely important to me that we saw that Daisy had a love interest.

Yihwa from Together With Me. What a fucking Queen Bee. She was pretty, smart, tough, and stylish. She was an amazing friend and did not play about her friend group. She held everyone together and came up with the best plans to take down Knock's crazy girlfriend. We stan Yihwa in this house.

Pearl from Gameboys/Pearl Next Door. I love every single thing about Pearl. She could do no wrong in my eyes. She was so selfless and intelligent and sweet and kind. She had so much love to give and expected anything in return. She was an angel.

Yuna from Semantic Error. I want to be like Yuna she was so cool and so laid back and so funny. Her whole aura was such a vibe and every time I saw her my mood brightened. I wanted her to find a girlfriend in Semantic Error soooo bad.

Fujisaki from Cherry Magic. Sweet, all-knowing, and all-seeing. She was very mindful of everything around her. She was never too much and always there to solve a problem. She always knew what to say to make people feel better and her energy felt like a big warm hug. I would go to war for that woman.

Yiwa from Wedding Plan. What a fun and lively woman. I love how she had a little mischief streak and she was so cheeky with everyone. I loved how she used her lack of height to flirt with her girlfriend. I also love how charming and protective she was. She's another character who can do no wrong in my eyes.

Sand from The Sign. Everyone should stan Yai's hott trans wifey. We didn't get to see her a lot but all of her scenes were memorable. I love that we got to see her poke fun at Yai but also deliver sound advice to Tharn. She was just a treat and I love her.

This whole thing was an idea that I got just because I was thinking about ll and sl scar because they were both so lonely like wtf and I just though about a scene that would be so. Grips chair.

Ll: "We won?"

Sl: "Yeah"

Ll: "Did we have allies? Friends?"

Ll scar probably thinks sl scar won only because he had allies to support him. He knows what its like being lonely and he hopes no one has to go through that loneliness. And he wants to be optimistic for once that sl scar, future him, gets allies, gets friends.

He tries to hope and then he sees the look on sl scars face. Or maybe sl scar tries to lie- maybe he tries to say they had allies.

Against all odds, PICS stay together. Or, at least, the GGGs do - Impulse is the one to team with Gem and Joel. He leaves around Session 2.

It's episode 9. The final confrontation. They're all on red - most of the other teams have already fallen, aside from a few stragglers, and it's the GGGS vs Gem, Joel and Impulse ("GIJ", they've affectionately dubbed themselves, so their catchphrase could be "the gij's up!").

"Pearl," Gem pleads. "Please. Come with me! We can be Soup Group again! Well — plus Joel, but... Soup Group! Come on. Don't you remember Murder Camel? We can destroy those guys! Please. You don't need them. Let me save you." "Oh, Gem..." Pearl's eyes soften, as she strides forward, lowering her sword to cup Gem's cheek in her hand. The deer-hybrid leans into the wolf's touch. A deer trying to save a wolf. How pathetic. Gem gasps as she feels Pearl slot a sword between her ribs. The fawn looks up, horrified, her face almost betraying betrayal... though, that would be the wrong term, because betrayal required them being allies in the first place! They'd never been allies. Let alone friends. "You want to save me? Please. I don't need saving. I'm right where I want to be." Pearl was sick of people telling her who she should be with - what she should want, do, think, be. She knew exactly what she wanted. She wanted Cleo. She wanted Scott. And she wanted this deer to rot. She allowed Gem's corpse to fall to the ground with a cold smirk. Nothing but roadkill. Then, she stepped back to her real team, her real friends, her darling partners. Gem was an absolute idiot if she thought she'd betray them. Pearl gave Cleo a peck on her forehead above her forebrow's stitch, and kisses Scott's star-littered nose. Affectionately, Scott wiped the blood off her cheeks with his thumb, like she'd gotten a bit messy eating an ice cream cone and hadn't just killed a rogue roe. She giggled. "Guess the gig's up for the gijs," Pearl couldn't help but mock the dead doe, and Cleo rolled her eyes teasingly at her pun as the two mollycoddled. "The gijs are almost up. Now, come on," Cleo pulled Pearl's sword out of Gem's forgotten corpse while Scott and Pearl were peppering each other with nose-kisses like it was a competition — was it rude of them to be bill and cooing in front of Gem's dead body? Probably!— and offered the weapon to Pearl in the same way a queen might offer a knight back their blade. Once, Cleo might have hesitated to hand her a weapon, but not anymore. Running a blade through each other's backs now would be like running a blade through their own. "We've got an Impulse to catch."
