Cool slightly, then remove the fish and flake the smoked haddock. Well.it's not really a mixed seafood though but it's shrimps and fish cake stir fry with mixed vegetables and baby spinach. If you are not too sure of what seafood to choose for your dinner then the best answer for that would be getting all sort and mixed them together.
Hey everyone, I hope you are having an incredible day today. Today, I'm gonna show you how to make a distinctive dish, mixed veg and fish. It is one of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Mixed veg and Fish is one of the most favored of current trending foods in the world. It is easy, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It's appreciated by millions daily. Mixed veg and Fish is something which I have loved my whole life. They're fine and they look wonderful.
To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can cook mixed veg and fish using 4 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook it.
The ingredients needed to make Mixed veg and Fish:
{Take of fillet hake.
{Get of eggs.
{Make ready of Bread crumbs.
{Take of Cooking oil.
Leave a comment on Fish & Veg. Mix veggies and fish, and top with sliced avocado..flavoured mix veg paratha recipe. firstly, as i mentioned previously, you can easily experiment and extend the vegetable stuffing as your need. in this, i have added paneer as well and can be skipped if you need a vegan one. secondly, the same recipe can be made by mixing boiled and mashed. Heat the sesame oil in a small saucepan and pour over the top of the fillets. Plate up the fillets, alongside the mixed veg.
Steps to make Mixed veg and Fish:
Place your bread crumbs in a bowl.
Beat your eggs.
Pour cooking oil in a pot to boil and let be hot.
Then deep your fish in the eggs then roll your fish in the bread crumbs.
After then fry it until it's crispy then your fish is cooks and ready to serve..
Mine will be served with veggies.
ROASTING VEG: If you intend on roasting fresh veg, including potatoes, then make sure you parboil them first for minimal oven time. Think about fish and chip Fridays, tuna sandwiches, smoked salmon bagels, fish finger dinners - one day, those cravings might hit you hard. Good news, then, that a lot of major brands have delivered unto the world a bunch of vegan and vegetarian fish alternatives that will hit the spot without wrecking. Roasting fish and veg is an easy way to make a healthy meal for four. Add a crunchy cheese and breadcrumb topping for a winning combination.
So that's going to wrap this up with this special food mixed veg and fish recipe. Thanks so much for reading. I'm confident you will make this at home. There is gonna be more interesting food in home recipes coming up. Don't forget to save this page in your browser, and share it to your family, colleague and friends. Thank you for reading. Go on get cooking!

Attention : Here's what an ideal day of eating to lose weight looks like! DIP Healthy Snacks, Baked Masala Sticks and Croutons
Attention : Here’s what an ideal day of eating to lose weight looks like!
Tumblr media
Throw out everything you’ve learned about fad diets or juice cleanses or detoxes to lose weight! The ultimate weight loss & dieting hack is here, and we promise it will make a major difference. Paper and pencil at the ready? Let’s jump right into it!
This magical diet hack is called Calorie Counting or Macro Counting. Now what exactly is this mathematical sounding method and is it as complex as it sounds? Absolutely not!
All you need to do is get an approx measurement of what you’re eating, download an app like MyFitnessPal and you’re good to go!
First thing first, we need to calculate your calorie intake limit, you can follow the link below to do it:
https://www.freedieting.com/calorie-calculator
Once you get your limit here’s what you need to do:
If you want to lose weight, you stay in a calorie deficit i.e. eat the equivalent of your calorie limit in a day, and lose about 300-400 calories with the help of exercise. If followed properly you could lose up to a kg a week!
If you want to maintain your weight, you eat the equivalent of your calorie limit.
Easy? Now here’s what your ideal day of eating should look like if you want to lose weight and have an intake limit of 1200 calories:
Early Morning (1 calorie)
A glass of warm water + one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. This drink might just be a secret elixir in order to get your gut health back on track and regulate your energy levels and immunity.
Breakfast (243 calories)
1 whole boiled egg and a slice of multigrain bread with low fat-cheese and a tomato with salt and pepper. Your breakfast is the most important meal of the day, which is why you need to get all your nutrients right by including complex carbs, protein, calcium and fiber in it. You can enjoy a cup of black coffee with your breakfast too!
Lunch (approx 350 calories)
2 chapatis, a bowl of vegetables and a bowl of dal + salad. In order to keep your energy levels lifted through the day you need to get your fix of nutrients + just enough food to keep your tummy full! If you add multigrain chapatis to this mix, it adds on to the health benefits of your meal.
Post Lunch (120 calories)
You might feel hungry or feel a dip in energy by about 4 o’clock, which is when you eat a sliced apple with a spoon of peanut butter. The apple contains a nutrient that will keep you full, and the peanut butter will add that extra punch of protein to your day!
Snack (150 calories)
You could add a small snack of DIP Baked Masala Sticks and enjoy them with a fat free dip like hummus or yoghurt. You need a snack to keep your stomach full till dinner, in order to not binge at your last meal.
Dinner (230 – 250 calories)
Finish your day with a nice healthy bowl of soup, either chicken or vegetarian with DIP Baked Croutons. Since you will sleep after this, you need to ensure your digestive system isn’t loaded with trying to digest a very healthy meal. Which is why soup and croutons is the perfect combination. You get your intake of fluids, protein and carbs all in one!
And there you have it! A perfect day of eating to lose weight.
Like always, you can and should check with your doctor in case you have health conditions which require special care.
Good luck!

With Burger King’s Whopperrito, have we reached pinnacle burrito?
Put something in a burrito and it acquires a cool side, but research results can diversify wildly. With chefs busting the blueprint, we taste test the latest hipster meat fad
This week ensure the nationwide opening of Burger Kings Whopperrito. No, you didnt read that wrong the fast-food king should certainly throw a Whopper in a burrito.
Like KFCs burrito project before it, the Whopperrito is a bland reminder that mediocre meals stand mediocre even when they put on new party clothes.
But it points to a brand-new tendency in hipster food: the burritofication of all meat kinds. Jeffrey Pilcher, a nutrient historian and columnist of Planet Taco: A Global History of Mexican Food, mentions the burrito and the taco have become a brand-new kind of shorthand for cooks. Give something in a burrito and it acquires this cool fringe, he replies. Its a course of Americanizing foreign meat, but without that McDonalds feel.
If you cant stand chicken fries then try Burger Kings brand-new provide, the Whopperrito. Image: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
In San Francisco, the birthplace of the Mission-style burrito the meaty, rice-filled, bean-and-cheese ordeal that most will recognize growing numbers of cooks are experimenting with the burrito blueprint. The basics remains the same: a carpeting of carbs( typically rice ), flesh or fish, and something fresh( avocado, salads or vegetables) twisted up in a tortilla, food or other package. But the results vary wildly.
So if the burrito not the burger is now Americas favorite meat playground, whos going it right and whos get it wrong? I chew my direction through nine burritos in four periods to bring you the answer.
What doesnt study
The Whopper-rrito
Burger Kings burger in a burrito propelled nationwide on Monday. Yes, we tried it. And yes, its pretty lame. It paucity inspiration, texture and pierce. Its a taco-flavored burger in a tortilla and none the better for it.
The Whopperrito, good left unwrapped. Image: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
KFC tried a same stunt last year by secreting a fried chicken and a pulled chicken burrito in the UK. I tried it on a rainy day in London and it was dismal, tasting simultaneously of good-for-nothing at all and overwhelmingly of artificial cheese.
Conclusion: good burritos can be made in the same sum of occasion it takes to get a fast-food burrito and they arent much more expensive( my Whopperrito meal cost roughly$ 7 ). Treat yourself to the real deal.
The ramen-rrito
Some eateries in California have been putting ramen noodles inside burritos and, while I have not actually tried it( nearby restaurants no longer act them. You work out why ), the premise is frightening. Innovation is always admirable and the ramen burger has some serious devotees but there are certain meat that should not be friends. Slippery ramen noodles and chewy tortillas feel like two of them. Its like putting an octopus in a straight jacket.
The cousin of the ramen-rrito is the pho-rrito. While these LA foodies didnt hate it they did close we are able to prefer merely having a good old-fashioned container of pho. If it aint ended
The heart attack-rrito
No one is pretending burritos are healthy, but there is a line that can be crossed. Putting doughnuts inside a burrito is one acces to traverse it. Two hot dog, three pieces of bacon, cheddar cheese and beef chili is another. French fries, jalapeos, bacon, mac n cheese, hot dogs and beef chili is yet a third. And Googling pizza burrito goes you here; which, be alerted, is a corner of the internet that they are able to put you off your lunch.
The Vulgar Chefs white-hot scrap burrito, aka a heart attack in a tube.
What works
The sushi-rrito
A sushirrito is exactly what it sounds like: a monstrous piece of sushi rolled like a burrito. But this is more than a copycat, its something new and yummy that combines atypical parts( repute ginger-spiked avocado, lotus chips or sweetcorn) into a dish thats heartier than sushi but lighter than the Mexican-American classic. Its luscious.
A wheel from San Franciscos Sushirrito, which claims to be the original sushi burrito idea. Photograph: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
Of all the faux burritos I tried the sushi burrito is the farthest deviation, but it handiworks by reminding us of everything these two great foods have in common.
The curry-rrito
The curry burrito obliges appreciation after all, whats a curry without naan, chapati or paratha to wash it up? This is the non-burrito that detects most like a burrito.
A curried pumpkin and chicken burrito from Avatars Punjabi Burrito. Photo: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
The depth of spicing in south Asian cooking is a natural complement for Mexican cuisine. I dine a Punjabi burrito( from Avatars in the Bay Area) which swaps Spanish rice for basmati, pico de gallo for pickles and chutney, sour cream for yogurt, and carne asada for curried chicken or lamb.
A chicken tikka masala burrito from Curry Up Now. Photograph: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
The chicken tikka masala burrito( I tried one from Curry Up Now) is saucy and spicy, granted frivolity by a sour chickpea ornament announced chana. I spent most of my occasion gobbling it visualizing, why havent I ingest this before? And when can I get another one?
The deep-fried rice-ritto
Rice is often the unwelcome guest at the burrito party so its great to witness some establishments hold it a starring role.
A korrito from Seoul on Wheels aspects kimchee deep-fried rice. Photograph: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
The korrito( from a nutrient truck called Seoul on Wheels ), featuring bulgogi( grilled, marinaded beef ), cilantro, sour ointment, sriracha and cheddar cheese, is one example of rice-minded theory. Their rice fastened with kimchee was so good it actually did me excited to ate the rice line-up of my burrito.
The kung pao pastrami burrito from Mission Chinese. Picture: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
San Franciscos mega-hip Mission Chinese does a kung pao burrito, which comes with kung pao pastrami, home fries, cheese, scallions and salt cod fried rice. While their pastrami teeters dangerously on the edge of over-salted, the rice has deliciously fishy undercurrents and a agreeable pop of peanuts.
The brand-new meat-ritto
Meat is the burritos headline act, and some of best available fusion burritos use the format to showcase a signature flesh dishes. Roy Chois Kogi food truck in Los Angeles is a well-loved precedent, stuffing caramelized Korean barbecue inside tacos and burritos.
A jerk chicken burrito from Jamaican nutrient truck Scotch Bonnet. Picture: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
Sweet and smoky yank chicken is of the opinion at home inside a tortilla. I tried one thrust with rice, beans, plantains and a tomato cucumber enjoy.
A burrito filled with sisig, a Filipino pork dish traditionally made from parts of the pigs honcho. Photograph: Charlotte Simmonds for the Guardian
A sour and savory Filipino specialty called sisig, made from marinated and charbroiled pork, also works well as a burrito heavyweight. Seior Sisig in California is leading service charges here, and even barters out rice for french fries. Crunchy, greasy, fabulous.

7 Restaurants to Visit at Lio Tourism Estate in El Nido
During my fabulous adventure in Lio Tourism Estate where we explored the magical island of El Nido (read about it here), we also went on a two-day food crawl sampling the various restaurants by the beach. Swimming and snorkelling around the beautiful waters of El Nido can really leave you famished, so I took the liberty of trying out several establishments located along Shops@Lio so that you can choose your own favorites.
Shops@Lio is a 3000-sqm. commercial area located right beside Lio Beach which aims to provide guests with a unique dining and shopping experience. This area is open to the public and guests of Casa Kalaw where I am staying so everyone can sample a wide selection of local and international fare with its different restaurants and bars. While some of the establishments are still being renovated, here are 7 restaurants that are already open and ready to serve hungry diners at Lio Tourism Estate.
Pizza & Amore
Pizza & Amore is an authentic Italian pizzeria and bakery serving freshly made pizza and bread straight from their wooden brick fire oven. After a tiring day full of activities, it’s nice to sit back and relax with a slice of pizza and their chocolate desserts. The open kitchen lets diners see everything that goes inside this giant brick oven.
The Carbonara Pizza (P480) is one of their specialties with mozzarella, bacon, onion and egg. This simple combination really works and the rustic brick-fire oven does its wonders with the pizza crust.
Other notable items on the menu include the Affettati Misti (P750), an appetizer with mixed cold cut Italian ham and pepperoni with focaccia. The Parmigiana (P420) is a fried eggplant that comes with parmesan cheese, mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil. Otherwise, go for the Calzone (P500) which has pizza dough stuffed with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and cooked ham. Then end your Italian meal with the Chocolate Cake with Biscuits (P300) topped with Vanilla ice cream.
But if you want both pizza and dessert in one dish, then order their Pizza Nutella and Banana (P500) which is good for two persons. This heavenly dessert pizza will make you want to have another slice, or two.
Pair-A-Dice Burger Bar
Pair-A-Dice Burger Bar has one of the best views among the beachside restaurants at Shops@Lio. Visit the restaurant and you might even see the owner, who hails from Texas, and his lovely girlfriend preparing some drinks at the bar.
There’s nothing like having a refreshing cocktail in front of the beach. Pair-A-Dice offers classic and custom cocktails like The Pacqiao (P300) with a combination of peach schnapps, blue curacao, coconut rum, tequila, pineapple juice, orange juice, cherry vodka, grenadine, and spiced rum. This goes well with any of their delicious appetizers like Fried Mozzarella, Onion Rings, Dynamite Fingers and Mozzarella Tomatoes.
But the best items to pair with their cocktails would be their amazing burgers. Pair-A-Dice burger patties really taste authentic with a smoky beefy flavor. The owner really knows his burgers because these are some of the best I have had. Among my favorite from their grilled burgers was the Tokyo Teriyaki (P390) with grilled pineapple, fried onions, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and topped with teriyaki sauce.
Those who want something healthier for their summer bodies should go for the Tuna Cheese Melt (P390) with tuna and cheddar cheese, sweet onion sauce, cucumbers and tomatoes. But I would still suggest to get the burgers like The Blazin Asian (P390) with coriander leaves, cumin, curry powder, cayenne pepper and mangoes. On the other hand, their signature burger is The Pair-A-Dice Burger (P450) filled with bacon, fried onions, sour cream, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and barbecue sauce.

Manille Beach Bar
Manile Beach Bar is named after Destileria Limtuaco & Company, Inc’s flagship Philippine Craft Spirit brand, Manille Liqueur Calamansi and Dalandan. Distileria Limtuaco is the oldest distillery in the Philippines, developing quality spirits and liqueurs since 1852, and Manille Beach Bar features the many different uses of Distileria Limtuaco’s diverse product line through its food and beverage offerings. The beach hut is a bar within a bar which sets off the charming vibe of this restaurant.
We tried several of their Signature Cocktails and my favorite was the Manille Basil Smash, a gin basil smash twist made with Empire London Dry Gin, Manille Liqueur de Calamansi, lemon juice, basil leaves and simple syrup. It is served on the rocks with a basil sprig.
Other notable cocktails are the Calauit Park Swizzle using Old Captain 5-Year Old Rum, orgeat syrup, guava juice, plus angostura bitters. The El Nido Gold has a combination of El Hombre Gold, Manille Liqueur de Dalandan, elderflower syrup, guava juice and lemon juice.
Manille Beach Bar also has some sumptuous bar chows to go along with their unique beverages. I really like the Spicy Chicken Wings with its crispy fried wings coated in a sweet-spicy glaze pepper sauce with Imeldifique cooking wine.
We also got to try the Manille Longanisa Nachos, crunchy corn chips topped with fresh salsa, cheese sauce and pork sausage meat with Imeldifique cooking wine. Their Signature Cheeseburger has a 100% all beef patty with cheese, lettuce and onions served with fries. If you are really hungry, order the Grilled Meat Platter with pork barbecue, paradise mango chicken, grilled chicken and grilled liempo. But if you want a hearty rice meal, then get the Amadeo Coffee Beef Ribs with choice cut beef rib stew simmered with Amadeo Coffee Liquer.
The main highlight at Manille Beach Bar is the Flight to Lio. Order this multi-glass cocktail and you will see how they make it a performance to remember. It comes with Aloe-Haaal, Yuzu Good to Me, Lio Sunset and Old is Gold cocktails served this way. You have to see it to believe it.
Globy Traveling Chef
Globy Traveling Chef restaurant & bar serves an international lineup of appetizers and main dishes from across the globe. I like their comfy chairs where you can put your feet up and just enjoy the luxury of dining by the beach.
Fresh fruit shakes are available like the Banana Chocolate Shake (P180) which is very refreshing especially on a hot summer day.
Go around the world with their specialties like the Nasi Goreng with Chicken Satay (P390) from Indonesia served with peanut sauce. The Breakfast Panini (P340) comes with flat bread, tomato, pesto, scrambled egg, bacon, onion and cheese. This breakfast item also includes a choice of tea or brewed coffee. From India comes the Chicken Tikka Masala (P450) with roasted chunks of chicken tikka marinated into spices and yoghurt cooked in a spicy masala sauce, served with homemade chapati bread. Travel to Thailand with the Pad Thai Noodles (P300) which is a common street food item there. These stir fried rice noodles in fish sauce are mixed with bean sprouts, egg, carrots, onion leaves and peanuts.
The highlight at Globy Traveling Chef is the Colombian Backpacker (P990) which has a grilled Beef Tenderloin Steak topped with lemon marinated vegetable salad and feta cheese.
Bead Cafe
Bead Cafe is a Do-It-Yourself Bead Jewellery cafe where you can create your own works of art while waiting for your cup of latte. I have never seen a coffee shop quite like this before and guests can craft their own jewellery and beads for a certain fee.
I ordered one of their Blended Frappes, Cookies and Cream (P125-Grande) which is a refreshing sight. This is also a good place to unwind and take cover from the heat in between meals and activities.
Pukka Bar
Pukka Bar serves Filipino and international classics with live performers and singers to create a lively beach ambiance.
They serve some powerful concoctions like the Mojito (P230) and Pina Colada (P210) which seem to have double doses of alcohol.
Order the Nachos Bowl Supreme (P180) for your bar chow with your drinks. As for your main dish, get the Ribeye Steak with Fries and Mixed Salad (P750) with its sumptuous and tender beef. Can’t go wrong with steak so this should be the best item to order.
El Nido Grill
Lastly, enjoy fresh and savory seafood at El Nido Grill. After trying out all these great restaurants at Lio Tourism Estate, sometimes it takes just simple grilled dishes to make everyone happy.
We ordered the Pork Sinigang (P480), Grilled Squid (P400), Butter Garlic Shrimp (P390), and Grilled Chicken (P395) together with garlic rice and it makes the perfect beachfront dinner. We upgraded our dining experience by adding the Crabs in Coconut Milk (P580) and everyone went home truly satisfied.
More restaurants and retail establishments will be opening at Shops@Lio in the coming months to give even more choices and activities to guests at Lio Tourism Estate. If you are planning your trip to El Nido, Lio Tourism Estate has everything covered to make sure you have a wonderful dining experience that will match the breathtaking environment.
