indeed my exact process once every 8 months or so

#I just thought today of a new way to format a 'profile' (like the descriptions of self that people use on friend meeting #apps and stuff) and how to organize the sections so that it seems such and such a way and oh what if there's links which click off #into branching paths so it's very acessible and there are two different forms depending on so on and so forth #and i was like 'um.. wow. amazing idea. this will be soooo aweseome and will definitely work' but then .. you know...self reflection #lol.. is this just like the millions of other iterations of a similar thing? No.. This Is Different ... Surely...#Though if I had a millionaire friend and a few people who do the type of coding you use for web design stuff and etc..#I could create the most elaborate detailed and amazing platonic friend seeking (and I guess you could also have 'dating' as an option #since that would draw in more of a crowd) website on the earth.. the new okcupid (back when okcupid didn't suckishly abandon their #whole format in hopes of trying to become just like tinder or whatever and they actually had like tons of info and percentages and #open answer questions and would list personality traits on a profile (like 'this person is more Open To New Expereinces than 65% of #other users' etc.). etc. etc. Oh what a beautiful thing I could craft for the detail freaks of the world.... Alas...#unfortunately we seem to be in an oversimplification era.. everything in short quick bites. everything on a tiny phone screen. etc.#marketing 'Introducing The Most Complicated Data Heavy Social Connection Site In The World' would not sell well I'd imagine gjhgjh #AANYWAY.. also no idea why the representation of me is in a turtle neck. what a bold fashion choice..#In another moment of self reflection.. the fact that in the first tag on this post I felt the need to define the word 'profile' just to be #specific as if people couldn't tell from context.. so clearly someone who finds filling out forms a 'fun afternoon activity' lol #the type of guy who finds psych evaluations and pop quizzes and making chore lists mostly enjoyable (< true)

chilly winter air, meandering from stall to stall, crisp and sweet churros, live christmas music, buying cute gifts for friends, warm and cheesy pretzels, sea of glimmering lights, a kiss to end the night.

zebra: cyno, there are too many flavors! how am i supposed to pick just one?

cyno: we're almost at the front of the line, my love. you’ll have to choose.

omg the idea of him not having (or at least thinking he doesn't have) a soulmate because of how he was born 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌it reminds me of a soulmates au fic i wrote for a vastly different fandom where those who were born without soulmate markings were known as "the soulless". yknow. just for the extra angst.

AHHHHHHHH YES I love that so much. Nothing like adding another brand to his already scorched soul. I think that would be a really good angsty selfcest fic or just a pure Homelander whump.

Now that I'm thinking about it more I'd love to see how Vought deals with that.

Because depending on the kind of soulmate AU it could be I see them abusing his still 'soulless' status by running game shows like 'Could you be Homelander's soulmate?' and whatnot. And how sad would it be to be presented with hoards of people wishing to be his soulmate and having them all rejected by fate. While knowing the people signing up to see if they could be his soulmate or not are not even there for him as much as they are for the fame and prestige that comes with being on TV.

Or would they just manufacture a soulmate for him because they don't want him to be seen as abnormal (beyond the obvious) Like they wouldn't want to highlight that he didn't have normal upbringing or ever even really had the chance to find love the normal way.

#it could be a blind date show where for example they see colour once they meet their soulmate eye to eye #ORRRRRRRRRR omg this is getting me now #I always found the AUs where they have the first thing their soulmate says written on their arm interesting #bcs if you're someone like Homelander who hears the same line over and over again #how would you know who it is??#if it's something like “I'm your biggest fan”#while the soulmate's mark would deffo be something just as mundane as 'it's nice to meet you' or 'thanks for coming'#or or or #his mark could still be 'I'm your biggest fan." or whatever so he's on edge anytime he meets fans #part of him hating that his soulmate is part of the faceless crowd (this is where Vought markets the shit out of it)#(come meet homelander for $$$ you might be the lucky one!)#(and now they've made his mark public so EVERYONE is saying it to him)#but it might just be that it's not the entire thing #but suddenly his soulmate says the same line but they either finish it off with something more interesting eg “i bet you hear that a lot!”#engaging him in a conversation and suddenly his response is very different to what he'd say to a normal fan #and that's the mark on his soulmate's arm #how am I writing more in the tags than the actual post #homelander x reader #soulmate au #asks!

so..... i realised that i somehow treat ikea as a place of comfort? sometimes when i'm feeling down or sad, i'll convince my mom to drive there with me, even if we don't need anything from there, to just wander around and maybe buy candles and eat food. so umm. i was wondering if others feel similar about ikea? do you have Feelings about ikea? do you like just wandering around it with no purpose? or is ikea a hellish, overwhelming place?

there's currently a total of 21 playable characters in the game so what's up with the extra three character slots? 🤔

for now i can only imagine it's either for the teachers (Hyde, Dante, and Nicolas seems like a "safe" choice) or a completely brand new ghoul students…

#by safe i mean in the sense that those three are more likely to sell for the crowd here #'cuz idt many people would be willing to throw money at shota bait rijicho or walmart korosensei #those are kind of a more niche market #it's safer to invest in the more traditional ikemen type like the three i mentioned before #but eh who knows what the future holds #or what the devs planning #i somehow forgor Benkei 💀 sorry man #i guess that's more ikemen candidates
