I had the delight of meeting @trucbiduleschouettes at a cat café! So here’s Niquis and Solace having a similar encounter.

When he was young Jonathan accepted he would never have a normal birthday. So can you imigine his shock when his university friends bring him cupcake with candle along with few books as presents. It's started with simple cupcake. But over the years, as Jonathan eases into celebrating birthday, he get's full on birthday cake along with small party with his closes circle of friends. At first he didn't thought what to think, he try to be nice the first time, but it did bring back bad memories from childhood. To him Birthday was a normal day, but now he doesn't mind. With years he came to enjoy it and maybe, just maybe that inner child of his was happy to finally have party he always dream on. He never got comfortable with big party idea, but dinner with close friends with cake after it? He can stand behind it.

When he became Scarecrow, Jonathan thought he was back to treating birthday as normal day. That was until one day coming back to his hideout, he finds it decorated with suprise party from fellow rogues. Yeah, it was bit of disaster, but he didn't mind. Even while in Arkham small celebration was held. Jonathan Crane might not have best birthday in childhood, but it's hard to not celebrate with friends who do care about him and want to celebrate day he came to be him. Be it a formal dinner with his academic friends or crazy party with his fellow rogues.

But Jonathan wouldn't have it any other way.

Just maybe he wished Harley would stop kidnaping his ex colleague who still send letter to him sometimes and just send them a invite? It's still nice to see them, even if his new associate scare them out.... And please stop tying Jagna with a ribbon as if she were a gift.
