When Sizzle eats karma flowers, he has dreams, or more often, nightmares. These nightmares consist of the death of whatever creature left the karma flower.

This is how he gets the first indication of where his mother is. Though he doesn't know it's her due to the nightmare being hazy.

At this point in the story, he has separated from the scav tribe that raised him. Sizzle travels to Industrial Complex where he tames his lizard friend, Tangled Kelp.

breaking news: dumb idiot alien cookie gets caught shapeshifting into other cookies

(sour jawbreaker cookie goes by he/they/it)

#just concept art for how sour jawbreaker cookie would shapeshift into other cookies #fry and sizzle can freely move around but they cant hide themselves in sj's body #so they kinda have to like.. move around to avoid being caught (they can technically hide in sj's 'clothes')#(and 'clothes' is in quotes because usually they are also a part of sj's body)#it can mimic pretty basic clothes/armor too but nothing too fancy / multiple layers of clothes #takes too much effort and is really difficult to maintain (he will look messy and goopy if he tried to copy all of pv's clothes)#OK TAG TIME #cookie run #cookie run kingdom #crk #digital art #ocs #cookiesona #dark cacao cookie #(hes there btw because he has to put up with this hyperactive freak constantly)#(as a result it shapeshifts into him a lot (unintentionally btw its out of habit especially if it gets too hyper))#(if youre wondering why hes wearing a hoodie thats because thats sj's default clothes. he wasnt done shifting :( )#id tag the other guys here but they dont like. actually make an appearance here

Suppose its time I draw these two together, Sizzle and Marbles! (Green is my au of Artificer's lost slups Blue slugpup is from the @ask-the-pioneer au)

I drew them as slugpups roughhousing in the mud like true siblings when they both get distracted by a shiny pearl (hehe symbolism of their lives being drastically changed from a pearl)

I softened and simplified their markings to make them look more like babies, so pure, no clue of what's going to happen to them eventually.

I had many ideas but I settled on this one bc it could probably take place between the two of them, and it was just something sweet :]
