ok. im going to do as much of this cow in one sitting as possible. im going to be (mostly) following this pattern because deux face herself seems to have a fairly normal head? so the only real change to be made is im going to make two of the snout-pieces to be sewn on

I love it so much!! To the point of slow but steady embroidery progress:
I cannot take credit for this pun but please consider
crowchet.
Available on Inprnt and in my Etsy shop!
[Image Description: Digital artwork of a crow against a white background. The crow is holding a crochet hook in its beak and is just finishing up a red crochet heart. It holds the end of the yarn with its left foot. /end ID]
#crowchet#my apologies for buying a redbubble shirt that I didn't realize at the time was stolen art#at least that shop appears to no longer exist#so now time to throw some money at the etsy shop because oh my god#wonderful art

Taking a small break from painting. In the meantime I got myself a bag for my crocheting stuff. It's my "Crowchet" bag. It has a hole betweent the lining and the outside bit. It wasn't supposed to be that way. I've taken it upon myself to make it better. I'm going to add another pocket to it if all works out like I plan. — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/qTiNdJA

Just finished my first tatted piece! I have no idea how reversing works so I was kinda just winging it but it’s cute! This is needle tatting btw, couldn’t figure out how to flip the knot with the shuttle so I changed methods.
(Pattern in reblog)

One project at a time Halloween is taking over my living room
(aka I like version two of my jack o lantern pattern better so it and the crowchet crow are now in my living room)
#sewing#crochet#amigurumi#plushies#handmade#crow#jack o lanterns#crowchet#idk what to make next (if I find Bucky Bear’s pattern it’s that but I haven’t)#I’m also thinking of crocheting a shawl or blanket or something?

this is NOT my arm warmers, its just a Skill Building Scarf. It doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to teach me the basics. Kind of wish it was my arm warmers though bc theae are the colors I wanted lol
got all excited bc the arm warmers i want from sock dreams are back in stock but double checked the fiber content and its COTTON!!!!! how will that keep my anemic arms WARM!!!!!!
#bookbird babbles#just realising i shouldve made my crochet tag crowchet ohmygod how have i failed this hard#anyway now i need a fun knitting tag#knits and giggles#that works :)#snapshots

Performing crow surgery
I had a completely finished crow body and then I realized. His eyes were on wrong. They were misaligned with the bump on the back where the tail will be sewn on
In order to fix that I had to undo my sew shut, undo half the crocheted body, cut off the plastic eye washers that fasten the eyes on (not with scissors. Oh no. These are extra heavy duty plastic washers that are too strong for my fingers to simply take off so I had to get out pruning shears from the garage), replace the eyes, and now I’m recrocheting the rest of the body
I have wasted three perfectly good washers (so three screw eyes that don’t have washers so can’t be used) (I did this on one eye already before finishing the body and I thought it fixed the problem but clearly it didn’t) and I’ve also wasted much of my time. I am frustrated but hopefully it’ll be smooth sailing from here!
