I had a conversation with a coworker the other day and we were discussing how after so many years off dope, can't really remember what the sensation felt like exactly. Just some kind of abstract and exaggerated recollection. I do remember my wake up dose was like a cup of coffee. I would feel nauseous but would try not to puke after snorting oxy cuz I feared wasting it. So I would hold it til I got to work. Smoke a cigarette, puke, then it was off to the races. I felt alive. This was all daily maintenance I guess. Then I'd go home and either crash or do more til I would nod out. This was bliss. That feeling of near death and gasping was pretty orgasmic. This was my favorite part. But I mostly only remember the pain of constipation and my feet/legs itching til I scratched them raw. Boo

I love that Matilda shows Ichabod the pouch of Baphomet’s Eyelashes for if the head turns out to be dangerous or whatever, then, not two minutes later, looks at Gravy and figures that he is cursed enough that she does not want to deal with him, but not bad enough to use their backup plan and then he turns around and stabs Douffe. Truly iconic.

Here’s a random list of the magic that each Head uses because I only just realised it’s a common theme:

Henri: None (he wasn’t really around long enough.)

Gravy: Unknown (if he has one, I didn’t notice it.)

Max: His food (sure, he asked to go to a 7-Eleven, but he didn’t seem to have any bags on him and Matilda was in a rush to get to the play on time, so where was he pulling all of his food from?)

Devlyn: Her slime (when did she have time to make all that slime?)

Anne: Not being recognised (okay, this is a bit of a stretch, but Baltus killed the woman, you���d think he’d recognise her!)

Bruce: Dramatic curtain fall and spotlight (despite what Matilda says, it’s a drugstore. The likelihood of them having a spotlight is slim.)

Paulie: The apple (that apple came out of nowhere!)

Diedrich: Unknown (same with Gravy, I can’t remember anything specific!)

Henrietta: Is a powerful witch (perhaps why all of the other Heads were able to do what they did? Could play on what they wanted in that moment and Henrietta’s magic responded?)
