He’s the one who insisted they come to the town meeting, as per usual, but he’d ran off to chat with his other friends when he’d noticed Elijah’s head poking above the crowd, leaving her to awkwardly hang around, looking for anyone else she knows to keep her company. After a minute or two of her just looking around helplessly, she spots Theo. With a small gaspp, Quinn goes on her tippy-toes and practically flails her arms around so he could maybe see her, too. “Theo! Hey. Heeey! Hold on.” She starts moving towards him, trying to avoid bumping into anyone or being an inconvenience in general before she finally reaches him, smiling big. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages. I have so much to update you on.” Her hand dives in her handbag until she grips her phone. She slides even closer to him and opens her gallery so they can look through the photos together. “Look! My lemon tree grew its first lemon this morning. And I didn’t even cheat it with my powers, it just started growing on its own. And I think the Peace Lily you got me is settling in well. I mean, I can’t know for sure, but it’s healthy, and it seems happy to me. You should probably come over and check it too, though, just in case. Oh, that’s just Balo. We hung out the other day. Revka - A cold, crisp rain during the first days of proper fall. The world is draped in a hazy grey, dark puddles gather on the cobblestones like rippling mirrors. The warmth of a fireplace is welcomed, and the warmth of a lover's embrace before it divine.

Ceral - A lazy summer day in a field beneath a warm sun. The sort best spent lounging in the shade of an old gnarled tree with a book on your knees and a cold drink in hand.

Oh yeah, while I've been gone my pepper plant died. So did my basil. Went through a Depressive Episode and just forgot to water them.

Also that pepper had been going since April, she's not immortal, she had to die at some point. I think. I don't know honestly maybe I could have kept her alive all year if I hadn't wanted to die for a couple weeks, but I'm not sure. It was my first time growing a vegetable.

And the basil was from a cutting of my mom's larger plant, which also died around the same time. So yknow, probably not entirely my fault.

Snake plant is still alive. Got a croton, she's doing alright.

Ohio (where I unfortunately live, for now) may or may not be removing home grow from the rec weed bill that passed and I may or may not be ignoring the republicans who want to undercut the will of the voters, peace and love.

First attempt failed though, think she succumbed to damping off, and also had had the seed shell stuck to the cotyledon leaves, which never opened after I very carefully removed said shell when it didn't fall off for three days. I probably waited too long, but I was paranoid and didn't want to damage the seedling. She was doomed from the start, it seems. Rip watermelon og.

:edit: I know it's December, this is all indoors. I don't think a pepper and basil would survive the fucking winter outside, I promise.
