We'll see if I can access Tumblr while in China

So I'll be off to Chengdu, China from midnight to September 4th or so. Now assuming all goes well with the flight I have Astrill VPN but I'm not sure whether China will crack down on all VPNs for whatever reason. If that's the case, yeah. There's going to probably be radio silence for a month.

So a couple things. I'll probably still be updating my fic on FF.net if that's not blocked. Assuming I have time to write it of course. There's also the good old LOTR fanatics plaza where you can find rough drafts of my fanfic. I'll be posting there too assuming that's not blocked.

And well hopefully the worst doesn't come to pass. I'll check in if the VPN works. If not, wait til September. If I don't post something on here on at least September 6th then that's a really bad sign.

Keeper -- a short comic about an angel meeting a robotic lighthouse keeper that doesn't know the world has already ended. Made in about 18 hours for a 24-hour 24-page* black and white comic challenge (that I arrived late to, ha.)

*the actual submission does not include the cover, which was created after the fact for this post.

This was a really great learning experience as someone who's... never really made a completed comic. I ended up really attached to the story by the end of the project (possibly due to all-nighter deliriousness lol) and ultimately am very proud of what I made.There are some things I'd still like to change, particularly text placement, but in keeping with the spirit of the challenge I've elected to leave it as is.

ARTISTS FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸 - On the 6th and 9th of March, I'll be doing art requests on stream with other notable artists to raise money for Operation Olive Branch and the PCRF.

I'm incredibly lucky to be counting quite a few big names in the roster, including known Jesus and Odysseus enthusiast @wolfythewitch, the extraordinary fanartist @denimcatfish, and the incredibly talented @troubledminnesotan, as well as Lilypichu from OfflineTV.

My muscle biopsy went well last Friday! I was welcomed by a golden team! I want to point this out because it makes all the difference. I was quickly relieved and put in confidence by this pleasant and professional atmosphere. They all noticed how much the referring specialists badly manage my file (medical error, empty file that they had to find and reprint, etc.). It's good to see that there are still people who really love their profession! Pain and fatigue still afflict me, but it makes very little difference in my daily life!
