I think crooked should literally ignore that this article exists. The journalist had to post it as a gift to read, as it's behind a pay wall... if that article was so damaging, a pay wall wouldn't stop the shit from coming at them. There is not one hint of it on any of the 3 founders mentions on Instagram. #crookedmedia on twitter (refuse to call it anything else) doesn't show any mention of it. Searching "crooked media" shows a variety of stuff. A fair bit over the last 9ish hrs on the article, yes, but also stuff about Stacey Abrams, Vance, Trump etc etc. It's not the gotcha the journalist thought it would be, and that's probably because those making the complaints broke the first rule of documenting a complaint... they didn't keep it factual and they brought emotion into it. They completely lost their argument by involving Emily Favreau. She has nothing to do with crooked media other than being married to one of the founders. And secondly, by involving a colleague's private relationship, regardless of who that relationship is with. A colleague who they have essentially doxxed, as they do not have a public profile but won't be hard to find through a process of elimination. Look how easy it was for us. This journalist would have approached crooked for comment, as is mentioned in the article. They knew they were printing something that was legitimate and HR approved, and so had to make it sound suspicious. They should treat the article as puerile gossip and not something legitimate that they would risk highlighting

You know, I've heard this argument a lot from Mehdi Hasan and others before and certainly after 10/7, and I feel like it wildly mischaracterizes what Biden et al are doing. Biden is not doing this stuff "for Benjamin Netanyahu", he's doing them for Israel, a country which contains more people than Benjamin Netanyahu and Itamar Ben-Gvir. If France elected Marine Le Pen as its president and then subsequently was subject to attack by Islamists, I would expect the US to rush in to help its ally there even if the president was a racist and a fascist like Le Pen is. Now, arguably the Biden admin could do what Chuck Schumer did and go "we support Israel and will help it defend itself from Hamas et al, but we want someone else to be PM" but I can understand why they don't do that, as that very well might lose them any influence with the current government.
