Sage is next

1) Sage often feels overwhelmed with the way his life has turned out. Two husbands. Three kids. What’s next? He doubts anything would surprise him.

2) He misses being closer to his family, mostly his dads. He wishes they could all get together for holiday’s like he remembers when he was a kid. 

3) He’s thought about asking his older sister Rosemarie to come to visit. He’s worried about what his dad’s have told him about her obsession with their cousins new boyfriend. 

4) He worries about Caleb. He can sense there’s something wrong but can’t get Caleb to talk to him or Connor about it. His biggest fear is Caleb will decide to give up life on land to be with his people. 

5) His growing anxiety is causing him to lose sleep and he often finds himself wandering out into the ocean without any memories of how he got there or why.

I missed this tag by @ice-creamforbreakfast somehow, but better late than never I guess! Thanks for the tag. Oh and please ignore any typos...I never see them until it’s already posted - lol

1. If you could travel one place in the world where would you travel?

Travel? What’s that? I’ve been in the house for two months now...even traveling to the mailbox feels like a chore. 

2. What do you do in your free time away from sims?

It’s summer break, so no more homeschool (and I graduated my first homeschool student. I have a 100% graduation rate and 100% college acceptance rate so far 🤣)...so I’ll go from the Sims to Animal Crossing, then to Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and back to the Sims. 😉 J/K I’ll have to figure out what to do with my new found freedom. 

3. What other games do you play besides the sims?

I sort of answered this above. That’s my current game rotation...until maybe Last of Us II comes out.  

4. How tall are you?

Around 5′8″

5. One random interest of yours?

I love pictures of beautiful scenery...like places that are so amazing - you can’t believe they really exist. 

6. Current favourite bands or artists?

This changes like the weather. It depends on my mood, but I always go back to Raleigh Ritchie, Aloe Blacc, Jason Mraz, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Lizzo, Alabama Shakes...I could go on and on. 

7. Something you're looking forward to?

I think we’re all looking forward to the end of this pandemic. So many things have been canceled and sacrificed. I don’t know if it’ll ever go back to normal, but even something close would be great. 

8. Current favourite films?

I haven’t been watching many movies lately. I really liked the ‘Joker’ though and there was this Memphis based movie on Netflix that I really enjoyed, but the name escapes me right now. I’ve been more into TV shows. 

9. Who is a historical icon who has left an impact on your life?

Madam C.J. Walker really inspires me...always has. Her story is absolutely amazing and if she can accomplish what she did in her time...I know that I can! 

10. Favourite series (book or movie series)?

Okay, so Octavia Butler has a series that has seriously been slept on. How are these books not a movie or TV show yet? WTF? There are only two books, but ‘Parable of the Sower’ and ‘Parable of the Talents’ are seriously amazing and are perfect to read as we’re going through this whole pandemic. So timely!

Once the meal was finished, Vivienne called for the rest of the household to come to dinner. After waiting a few minutes for them to show up, Vivienne and Luca decided to eat without them. They could heat up the leftover later when they wanted.

For the first few minutes, the two of them sat in neutral silence. Not exactly uncomfortable quiet, but not easy going either. Since she had come into the house Vivienne hadn’t had a lot of interaction with Luca. He was nice enough, but not really social. He spent a lot of time holed up in his room so she hadn’t really had a chance to talk to him much. So she decided to use the opportunity at hand to get to know him a little.

“Are you nervous about classes starting up tomorrow?” she asked, hoping it was a nice, safe topic to start with.

“Not really. It’s my second year so I know what to expect and where to go.”

“Oh, yeah, of course.”

“What about you?”

“I’m a little anxious. My program is very competitive and I’m not entirely sure where all my classes are.”

“There’s maps online if you get lost,” Luca replied distantly. He grew silent a moment as he speared some of his food onto his fork, then added, “Or one of us can show you around.”

Vivienne smiled. She could see that he was trying and she appreciated it. He was a little stand offish in general, but it seemed like he was a good guy.

“I’m sure the maps can get me there. But if you see me wandering around campus looking lost and out of place, please come save me.”

Now it was Luca’s turn to smile, “You’re not really the type to be out of place I don’t imagine. You seem like you can fit in anywhere you happen to be. And on the off chance that you are, I’m sure any guy on campus would be more than happy to help you out.”

“Including you?”

“Sure,” Luca replied. Flashing her a modest, yet candid smirk. “If you want.”

“I do want.”

“Then all you have to do is ask.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.”
