Day 6: Fear/Horror 🍂

The moment in Majora's Mask where Cremia and Romani are preparing to go to sleep on the final day and Cremia asks Romani to sleep in her bed just destroys me every time. There's also the implication that she gives Romani the milk because she wants to put her into a deep sleep so she won't be awake when the world ends, it's almost like euthanasia in a way. It's really heartbreaking to imagine what it would be like if the moon wasn't stopped, how Cremia would hold Romani and soothe her to sleep knowing there was no hope, and Romani falling asleep in her sister's arms, feeling totally safe and loved, not knowing that she would never wake up.

Milk Bar Blues (Open Starter)

Cremia sighed softly to herself as she looked up towards the sky. It had been a few weeks since the moon was supposed to fall, and she still remembered huddling in her home with Romani. Letting her drink the special milk so she wouldn't feel their impending doom. Only for it to be stopped at the last minute. She was alive, her sister was alive... her best friend and former lover were alive and celebrating her honeymoon now that the world was safe. She looked down at her milk bottle as she took a sip, shuttering a bit as she tried to not look so down.

She heard the sound of the stool next to her moving, her eyes turning towards the source as she chuckled, her vision a bit blurry, "Welcome to the milk bar..."
