Been trying my hand at 2D art lately! My specialty is usually 3D, and I haven't experimented much with 2D before—but I’ve always admired it and the amazing artists who make it look so effortless. So, I thought, why not give it a try myself?

This is my first real piece, featuring none other than my favorite character, Malon! (Yes, I may or may not be slightly obsessed 😅). If any fellow artists have tips, tricks, or tutorials they'd recommend, I’d be super grateful—this is an art form I’d really love to pursue.

And of course, critique is always welcome and appreciated. I'm always looking to improve! And of course, I'll still be doing my 3d art as well, just now with some 2d art every now and then too!

The moment in Majora's Mask where Cremia and Romani are preparing to go to sleep on the final day and Cremia asks Romani to sleep in her bed just destroys me every time. There's also the implication that she gives Romani the milk because she wants to put her into a deep sleep so she won't be awake when the world ends, it's almost like euthanasia in a way. It's really heartbreaking to imagine what it would be like if the moon wasn't stopped, how Cremia would hold Romani and soothe her to sleep knowing there was no hope, and Romani falling asleep in her sister's arms, feeling totally safe and loved, not knowing that she would never wake up.
