hello, it’s me again, calling with another creloise au. have you given thought to dancer!cressida perhaps? maybe ballerina!cressida? she’s grown up forced to meet impossible standards so she’s hard to the world around her and then suddenly she meets nerdy loser eloise, who feels like she’s the disappointment of her family, and cressida for the first time in her whole life is taught to view the world with a colorful lense, with a new softness, with more humor because eloise is a free-spirit who teachers her there more to life than all the impossible goals she’s always been forced to spend all her energy on. in turn cressida helps give eloise direction so that she feels a little less lost in her own life.

.. anyways cressida could always notice eloise reading something and tries to talk to her by either reading the same book or one journey jus offering the book “emma” (LIKE IN THE SHOW GUYS?!?) as a good read before she gets off on her stop OMDS and/or eloise always noticing cressida’s fashionable-ness for a fùckin 9-5 (yes cressida would be giving office siren absolutely) and maybe if the tables are turned, cressida is reading and eloise notices this and suddenly sparks up conversation bc she simply cannot shut her mouth (and replaying all the times she’s seen cressida in new outfits like the montage scene of anne hathaway in the devil wears prada LMFAO) n every tube journey they encounter each otha on, they go back n forth on their opinions on which eva book they’re reading atm OMGGGG n maybe on valentines one of them gives the otha a rose or a book before they get off SOMEONE RESTRAIN ME MY BRAIN IS WORKING OVERTIME 😭

- would also love to see more modern AUs in general like yes i loooove seein this pairing in different time periods, adapting to the ideas and limitations of that era MWAH to everyone who has been writing these i love you - let me kiss u on yo fùckin cranium MWAH !

- imagine a 1920s jazz girls creloise like idk who would be a jazz singer (maybe cressida??), havin them be in ‘flapper girl’ attire.. IDK id jus love to imagine them in that environment perhaps smoking from those thingies that held the cig itself

- not to stress this too much (i am) but i wanna see them as a 90s or def a 2000s famous pairing!! like both are singers!! i mean cmon cressida would hav an unbelievable stage presence w her amazing outfits we’ve seen in the show itself and eloise would be more punk-ish i suppose!!

or eloise remains a singer and cressida is a model?! but in both situations it’s like they despiseeee each otha or at least eloise does of cressida bc of her overall appearance and the message her looks send (i.e. similar to bridgerton era blah blah expectations etc)

but then they hav to date as a publicity stunt to push down rumours that they hate each otha or maybeeeee penelope is a news outlet they’re trying to get the jump on by going ‘noooo we don’t hate each otha we’re actually dating!’ (they do hate each otha but they fall in love obvs)

or penelope is one of their publicists and has set this up??.. or they’re forced to write a song together IDK this can go any which way but i was inspired by the song “maybe” by emma bunton as a song cressida would DEFINITELY sing OR “let me see” by Morcheeba

man idk Cressida jus gives me the vibe that in this AU she could be equivalent to kylie minogue or a brit pop icon of sorts regardless or Kate Moss if u went w the cressida as a model version AND MAYBE ELOISE AS A PHOTOGRAPHER??? IDK!!!!

Yo, I say that you miraculously helped someone find a creloise fic they were looking for. Have you maybe came upon a fic with them, that was two chapters long, and basically a smut with good plot and characterization. Basically it's set in the world of the show, they are hooking up in secret. In the first chapter el and cress wake up in Cressida's bed and they sort of bicker, I remember that el was helping put on the cresses corset. In chapter two both of them were at the garden party with hyacinth, and then they sneaked of to some secluded room. The fic was really well written and for the life of me I can't find it. Anyway if you have no idea what I'm talking about I'll just light a candle in memory of it. Besos

I have thought about it and have some ideas but I suffer from a bad case of never finishing things. Also all of the multi chapter fic writers are so talented. And my impostor syndrome usually gets the best of me honestly. I’ve had some ideas though so never say never.

i have spent the entire day writing one part too much plot for me to solve within the next part for my fic and one part too much extra smut and have subsequently taken a fic that was supposed to be like 30k words at 3 parts up to now having to add extra parts and probably closer to 50k words which is very frustrating because i have a creloise secret admirer fic idea that i was going to work on after this and now i have to delay it because i apparently don’t know how to not get carried away 😤

okay, some vague overall thoughts for bridgerton 3x01-04 (spoilers ofc)

benedict didn't get much to do. am disappoint. all he did was run away from mamas and debutantes, and find a widow and then he did a lot of fucking. impressive

this so far is the season of the sideplots being more interesting

creloise is the literal damn highlight of the season so far. ESPECIALLY cressida

anthony is also, to me, always the damn highlight of any season. except for s1 on my first watch. heh.

but on that note, since cressida's gone the same way as anthony, now i get to rewatch s1 and s2 cressida scenes and just skjfgnkfg fall in love with her even more, like i did with anthony

so this is the first season where it's not (primarily) told from the point of view of a bridgerton. interesting.

i thought debling would've caught on earlier that some weird shit is going on with pen/colin, and with pen/eloise/cressida. but... well, either he did, or he's as dumb as a doornail (haha i know switched up the phrase). but yeah, at first i liked the idea of pen/debling, but by ep 4 he had become rather flavourless

portia's gonna be shook when she finds out pen and colin are getting married :3 she better be happy for pen! and also like, be nicer to her; i feel like there was a look from her towards the end of the ball in ep 4 where she might be rethinking how she talks to pen

anyway, will add to this post if i think of anything more.

that spoiler we got after the bowral screening of anthony being gifted a venetian glass ball; has that been cut from the ep...? instead he's just holding a ball which he is gonna try and fit into his mouth and/or hole for Science. string somehow attached ofc! can't have it getting lost 😈

SKDJNGK nearly forgot. okay so i have some thoughts re will and alice mondrich. with how gossipy and snipey and judgey the ton is, i'm surprised they were fairly well accepted into the ton. that is something i had not extrapolated on based on s1-2. but i do feel like cressida's mum and her friends are doing them dirty behind their backs. so that's... good... good as in, it doesn't invalidate what i headcanoned for a/b fic lmao

Hi! yes! both my creloise fics that are currently up heavily feature their friendship cuz i’m such a sucker for it as well as background franchaela. “With Love, Eloise” is finished and they’re scatted throughout the story. “No Rest for the Damned” is my vamp!cressida fic and will heavily feature their friendship throughout it as well as background Franchaela because i am also unhinged for them. Tho if you don’t ship creloise i can’t recommend these since their romance is front and center of course.
