How's the weather?:)

Overcast. My favorite way for the sky to be, to be completely honest. The air is heavy, which means it’s fixing to rain. It’s been raining. We’re in the middle of a lull in it. (Smells like it too. Is a very good smell.) Not winding very much, but that’ll change real quick when the storm gets here. The temperature is at exactly the place where you can’t tell there’s a temperature. That’s really rare. For us it’s normally hot enough to sunbathe right into December. There’s a reason this is a popular winter vacation spot. In fact, it’s still super green and lush here. We don’t get fall colors. Look:

70. The Days of Vines and Roses.

This episode was very fun. It actually reminded me a lot of "Herstory in the Making", where the story evolved by being passed through the hands of all the characters. Everyone played their part in this little fuck up, lol.

I'm so sad that "It Grows On You" ended up on the cutting room floor with the edited version. It's so unfortunate. If you haven't seen it, I implore you to watch the full episode on YT. Once you know it's been snipped, it's so jarring and noticeable. The cut from the tea table to the Tweedles in the glen is so awkward!

Also, the copy we have on YT had the end credits removed so for the longest time we didn't know the name of the actor of Bobby Shutterbug. Then one day I had the sudden realization that it was David Ruprecht of "Supermarket Sweep" fame, so I updated the IMDB page. Let me tell you, I really felt like I contributed something to the archival of the show that day, lol.

My yard is literally overrun with these guys this summer and with wet July they are fruiting a second time already. I can't eat them fast enough and the birds and Moxie are eating most of them. I picked about a cups worth and am trying a quick pickle on them to see how they hold up to that.
