@vladco-tech-official Amity Park, IL
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to express my enthusiastic interest in the Ghost Researcher position at Vladco Technologies. With a Bachelor's degree in Dissecc and a strong background in Ecton Science, coupled with my experience at Ecton AU and Dalv Co, I am confident in my ability to become the Casper-friendly researcher you've been waiting for.
In my current role as an Ecton Scientist for the Ecton AU, I played a pivotal role in the creation of a scientific paper published on AO3 discussing how ecton fusion generates energy for ecto-entities. This research has equipped me with a deep understanding of ecto-technologies and a passion for exploring the intersection between the supernatural and earthly scientific realms. As for Everything Was White on AO3, I've been crafting a very family-friendly wholesome fic that proves ghosts have complex emotions that go beyond just skin-deep.
My previous stint as a Ghost Researcher at Dalv Co, before the rebrand, involved daily tasks such as performing ghostly rituals, wielding my trusty Danno on a stick, and conducting experiments with scalpels left in jello molds. This experience has honed my ability to balance the scientific and spiritual aspects of ghost research, making me a valuable asset to Vladco Technologies.
Apart from my formal education and professional experiences, I have a track record of creative endeavors in the ghostly domain. As the writer and producer of the song "Dissecc," I showcased my ability to blend humor and knowledge in the realm of ghostly activities. Additionally, my leadership role in creating world peace as the Leader of Riots demonstrates my capacity to navigate challenging situations and foster unity.
In addition to my technical skills in Photoshop, I possess a keen eye for detail, as demonstrated by my ability to spell "vinella" and "raison" correctly sometimes on command. My proficiency with spelling, combined with my experience in creating quality content on Tuuuble dot ru, further contributes to my well-rounded skill set.
Thank you for considering my application. I am eager to bring my skills, experiences, and enthusiasm to Vladco Technologies. I look forward to discussing how I can contribute to your organization as your next spectral specialist.
Looking forward to the possibility of haunting your labs soon!
Boo-raciously Yours,
Tugnlr User Lexosaurus

Storia Di Musica #346 - Ride, Smile, 1990
The Scene That Celebrates Itself.

Alive human Side AU concepts moment
Hi! Hi!, I have many concepts of Alive human side AU but lazy to draw it, I have other bad brainrots on other fandom sorry for not being active on Phandom but I will show you how many concepts and plots this AU has
A poll for…
Oh god I made a poll just to defend whether or not calling Alive human!Danny in AU as Soot permanently or not- I'm still calling Alive human!Danny as Soot is here to prevent confusion ahahah 👍
Relationship with Clockwork
So after reading a fanfic & knowing that motive and how Clockwork changes the timeline…
I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT A CLOCKWORK TO GIVE DANNO 'A LESSON' OH MY GOD- DANNY WAS JUST 14 YEARS OLD AND NAIVE AND THE CLOCKWORK TRAUMATED HIM IN THE WORST WAY EVER-!!
So- for how many reasons does Soot hate ClockWork so much. He hated how Clockwork made a younger version of him go through such a horrific traumatic experience by having him fight Dan only to create a branching timeline where Dan didn't exist.
Rationality and morality Soot doesn't like and is very much against clockwork's decisions sounding very selfish just to teach his younger version a 'lesson', Danny is naive and very stressed with exams he just needs to be given enough motivation and support to not cheat and also not to let damn nasty burger sauce from exploding… Soot always thinks why Clockwork doesn't help him or something? He can still save his timeline from Dan with how much help he can defeat Dan then get back to get half of his ghosts back & anyrhing will be okey but it never happen he feels unfair… plus now Dan is kind of symbolic of the 'Paradox' now because he exists outside of the timeline and that makes Clockwork's actions is more like a fatal failure for him.
Beta concept
At first I wanted Soot to return to the timeline that Soot changed & disguised himself as someone who works at Fenton Works… This is really the initial concept, the motive here is unknown (because my head is empty thinking about the plot)… But this plot is still can be maintained I think.
I can make fanfic but I doubt I can make it very good, I just made concept for fun… So if you want to use my concept for fanfic I totally okey- just credit me and tag me because I want see and read it 👉👈 hehehehe
relationship with Valerie
I want to focus this AU on Grey Ghost… They deserve more screen time and more development between them.
Soot is somewhat obsessed with being by Valerie side because all these years Soot has felt incomplete, empty & lifeless because his half ghost side is the embodiment of most of his desires… Without it he like walking corspe everday… But when he is with Val something awakens something in him, love? Obsession? Soot doesn't know but he feels alive again when he's with Valerie. On the other hand Valerie is filled with guilt for not being able to prevent the creation of Dan and help Danny, sometimes she tries too hard to be strong and blames herself… When Soot comes to Amity Park to help... Val she feels he is familiar with Soot but she doesn't believe him, she has heard that Soot is a crazy man who blows up something & it bad. But Soot always gets too sticky and it always ends up in them always being together. At end Valerie knows Soot is Danny but she likes this version of Danny too much Soot is charismatic but has no purpose…
Random themes for them (also compatible with c!tntduo if you don't mind) pog-
I want to redesign Alive human!Danny a bit but… Pls… + personal note
I MISS C/Q!TNTDUO!!! I MISS GREY GHOST!!! DEAR GOD— I MISS MY LITTLE MEOW MEOW!! *CRYING* and sorry if i typo guys :'[

Patek Philippe: Il gigante dell’alta orologeria svizzera
For over a century, the Geneva-based maison has continued to innovate and amaze with incredible creations that have become true objects of desire.
The History The history of one of the most important brands in Swiss watchmaking begins in the distant year of 1839. It is in that year, in Geneva, that the Polish visionary Antoine Norbert de Patek and the Czech watchmaker François Czapek establish "Patek, Czapek & Cie." Although their collaboration lasted only 6 years, it laid the foundation for what would become a symbol of Swiss haute horlogerie. In 1844, after the two original partners part ways, a French watchmaker known in Paris, Adrien Philippe, joins Patek. He is rightfully considered a true genius in the industry. The new partnership immediately proves successful, and technical innovations during this pioneering period become the norm for the new company. Philippe is the first to perfect the keyless winding mechanism, previously discovered by Abraham Louis Breguet, and implements it in a watch by the maison. In 1845, the manufacture also produces its first pocket watch with minute repeater, and in a short time, Philippe, from being the technical director of the company, officially becomes a partner of Patek. Thus, from January 1, 1851, the name of the company changes to "Patek, Philippe & Cie."
The Logo The logo of Patek Philippe is a symbol imbued with history and charm that enthusiasts of fine watchmaking recognize at first glance. The names of the two founders are written in uppercase letters with an elegant and clean typeface, which well represents the attention to detail and precision of the maison's timepieces. Below the names, there is a connection with the birthplace of fine watchmaking, where the company is headquartered, Geneva.
But it is above all the Calatrava Cross that represents Patek Philippe. A fleur-de-lis cross, symbol of the ancient Spanish monastic-chivalric order of the Knights of Calatrava. However, the choice of this symbol, now so iconic, was not immediate, despite being registered as early as 1887. In fact, it was not until the early decades of the 1900s with the launch of the eponymous line of timepieces that we could see it. The reasons behind the choice of this symbol (or the long wait before using it) remain a mystery. The elegance of the fleur-de-lis cross and its reference to the values of a chivalrous and Christian era (the Knights of Calatrava in the 12th century defended the new Castile against Muslim armies) surely played a significant role in the decision, giving us today an iconic, elegant, and recognizable logo. Iconic Models When we talk about Patek Philippe, we are talking about models that have made history in watchmaking. Each individual watch is a masterpiece, but there are some models that have become true legends.
Calatrava

I NOSTRI MODELLI
CHI SIAMO
Calatrava
Let's start with a model that has made history for the maison, the Calatrava. Now a symbol of pure elegance, from its beginnings to today, its collection has expanded and incorporated the finest watch complications that only the great maisons are capable of mastering. But the timeless charm of the Calatrava primarily derives from its design, which expresses elegance and luxury in every detail, especially in the models closest to the original. The birth of this iconic dress watch dates back to 1932 when the new ownership decided to relaunch the company and overcome the global economic crisis of those years in the best possible way. Something revolutionary was needed, something completely different from the aesthetics of that period, and the Calatrava (initially called reference 96) succeeded fully. The Englishman David Penney was entrusted with the project and drew inspiration from the German Bauhaus school. Form must follow function, so embellishments, mannerisms, decorations, and anything superfluous disappeared. A round case, a clean dial, stick indices, and Dauphine hands. A true and successful revolution. Today, practically all major brands have a dress watch in their lineup, the ultimate expression of elegance, and inevitably, they all seem inspired by and derived from that first iconic Calatrava... One More Time
Going Angst Week - Day 1: Birth/Creation
Summary: Jack and Maddie have been trying to build their portal for years. They would've had it done sooner if it weren't for all the missing and destroyed parts.
Oh, and the ghostly interference.
Ao3 Link
~
It started small.
Little things would go wrong. A crossed wire here, a blown fuse there. Nothing too disheartening. They continued their project without much fuss.
Then it started to ramp up.
Circuit boards were melted beyond recognition, their energy source would fluctuate wildly during tests, and parts of the metal frame would constantly go missing despite all their attempts to keep them secure.
They figured their kids had somehow found a way past the lab door.
They hoped one of them might fess up, but neither did. Despite all their bribing (Jack) and threatening to take away certain privileges (Maddie), the only thing it served to do was pit their kids against each other.
So instead, they started lab safety lessons the same day Jazz started high school.
They had their fun with it. Insisting the kids start wearing jumpsuits everywhere just like them. Talking about how stylish the whole family could look just so they could see how their kids would react.
The youngest Fentons weren’t happy to say the least.
While their efforts were in vain, they did manage to convince their kids to take a family photo towards the end of the school year. With all of them wearing jumpsuits, of course. Jack in orange and Maddie and Jazz in blue. Danny was a tougher nut to crack, but after revealing a white jumpsuit that looked fit for space travel, he gave in.
After the photo was taken, the thefts and destruction had calmed down significantly. They thought they were in the clear, that Danny and Jazz would eventually tell them what led to their little pranks and they could continue their project without a hitch.
Less than a week later, and only a few days after Danny’s 14th birthday, Jack and Maddie heard something.
They were in the lab, working on installing the bottom part of the portal's frame when a soft pleading whisper echoed across the metal walls.
“Tear it down,” it said. “Keep him away.”
“Danny? Honey, what’s wrong?” Maddie asked, looking around the room. The voice sounded exactly like their son, but Jack and Maddie couldn’t see him.
The voice started again, desperation much clearer than before. “Please. You will doom his future.”
“Danno, what’s wrong? Who’re you talking about?” Jack jogged to the stairs, but saw the lab door was closed and the narrow entryway empty. “Danno?”
“Please,” the voice begged. “Please.”
“Sweetie, come out and let’s talk okay? I can’t understand what you’re trying to tell us.”
The voice didn’t respond.
Then the door to the lab opened with their son complaining about all the noise and being called down so early on a Saturday morning.
They chalked it up to ghost activity. A sign that they were getting closer to their goal.
The destruction and thefts began anew after that, but finally, on a rainy day in early August, Jack and Maddie finished their portal.
They brought Danny down for the first official test run and explained the science to him briefly, using him as a mock audience for their presentation to future investors. He was attentive and curious, a strange turnaround from all the other times they’d try to talk about it the past several months, but perhaps after actually seeing their invention and sitting through an explanation of what it's supposed to do, even he couldn't stay indifferent.
If only Jazz were here, then the day would’ve been beyond perfect, but unfortunately she’d seemingly anticipated the day of the test and was out at a friend’s house for a sleepover. They were a little disappointed, but it was hard to let that get to them when a breakthrough in interdimensional travel was involved.
Jack held up the thick connecting wires to turn on the device and, after they’d all suited up, plugged them in with an enthusiastic shout.
Nothing happened.
He pulled them apart and tried again. Still nothing.
Over and over he tried and Maddie had to eventually stop him before he permanently damaged the wires. She brought Jack to a chair and told Danny to head upstairs. He didn’t argue, eyes lingering on Jack’s slumped form on the chair, before asking quietly if his friends could come over. As long as they weren’t too loud, she told him. He left shortly after.
They’d tried everything up until the failed test—safety measures were all in place, the energy source was stable, everything lined up with their blueprints—so it was so completely heart shattering that it didn’t work.
They’d have to go back to the drawing board. Start again from square one. Years and years of research and all of it useless. Down the drain with one failed test run.
It was a heavy feeling of defeat that consumed them—both were always so ready to start the next test, Jack with his boundless optimism and Maddie with her level head. But this was just too much for them.
It hadn’t even flickered. The console didn’t even show it was turned on.
With the empty frame staring at them, they decided that they’d at least put it on hold for a while. Maybe give it up for good if they find something else to fill their time. But for now, they’d mourn the time lost.
---
Hours later, when they’d started getting hungry and figured they needed to make something for the kids, they finally left the lab.
The overhead light in the kitchen flickered as they entered and they they saw the outline of a floating boy in the dark. He wore a familiar jumpsuit in inverted colors, a fur lined black cape held up by two green gems, and a floating black crown covered in green flames atop his white hair. His entire being had a dim white glow around him and though his face was hard to make out, they could tell he had glowing green eyes.
He looked young. Maddie thought he might be around Danny’s age. But no, she couldn’t think like that. And one glance at Jack left her relieved that at least one of them was ready to take down the intruder.
“What do you want, spook?!”
The light flickered wildly for a moment, the ghost disappearing in the brief intervals of light and reappearing in the dark. Eventually they flicked off, the bulbs burnt out, and the boy’s face became clearer as their eyes adjusted. Maddie could make out tears in his eyes and a quivering lip. He looked them both in the eyes, and seemed to have an internal conflict before glancing at a point behind them. His voice shook as he spoke.
“Just... lock the door,” he whispered. When they didn't respond, he put his head in his hands and breathed deeply, revealing a dark green ring on his right hand.
The request was odd. Entirely doable and a small price to pay for it to leave them alone, but still odd. It took a moment, but Jack responded. “Why?”
Maddie narrowed her eyes, slowly pulling out her own ecto-gun. “And what will happen if we don’t?”
He removed his hands to show the tears spilling freely down his face as he landed on the ground. He responded in a shaky voice, “Then one day your son will be taken from you. And you won’t be able to find him.”
Immediately after the threat, they shot at him, but the lights came back on and the ghost disappeared before they could get any hits in. They heard three sets of footsteps race down the stairs and they heard the ghost again, sounding frantic and worried. They whirled on the voice, weapons aimed.
"Mom, Dad! What's with all the noise?" Danny. It was just Danny. They both quickly lowered their guns and Maddie let out a sigh of relief. Jack let out a nervous chuckle and assured the kids that everything was fine.
They talked about the ghost over dinner, though the kids definitely weren’t listening, and, with a reminder to not stay up too late, they left Danny and his friends to their own devices.
Later, when the two ghost hunters were settled in bed, they heard a voice deeper than the first ghost. It swept through the room and left them shivering as they bolted out of bed and held their guns at the ready. The faint ticking of a clock accompanied its voice.
“You failed him,” the voice said, its tone laced with disappointment as it sighed. “Just as you always do.”
A moment later, they heard a blood curdling scream.
---
“One more time! Just one more time!” Danny yelled, reaching toward the mirror with an image of himself partway through his first transformation. He thrashed in the other ghost’s hold. “Let me go!”
“This was the last one,” Clockwork said. The hundreds of other mirrors on the wall seemed to loom over both of them. Each one displayed a slightly different image with the same date and time written on the bottom. They held Danny tighter. “You can’t handle another.”
“I don’t care!” He punctuated his sentence by kicking Clockwork’s tail.
Clockwork said nothing as they continued to hold him. Danny kicked and hit any body part he could reach, but they endured it.
“I’m the king so I order you to let me GO!” He slammed his head against the glass door in Clockwork’s chest. As the fight drained from him, he pleaded, “Please, just let me go.”
Clockwork guided them both down to the floor and turned the boy around, giving him a hug as they stroked his hair beneath the crown. Danny clutched at Clockwork’s cloak and buried his head against their chest.
“I wanna go home, Clockwork,” he whispered, voice cracking as he let out a sob. “I wanna go home.”

Danny is hit with an awful invention, (Danny Dissolver) - the legend has arisen. But there’s plenty of awful inventions where that’s coming from -
> daydreaming of toast cannons and being a little shit
> Incinerate
> Porcelain Pieces
The Fenton Mutilator (has the same power voltage as the portal accident. Essentially the ghost gauntlets, but replace it with a pitchfork and add high voltage for a more efficient ‘rip the ghost out the human’)
The Danny Dissolver (as eloquently narrated by Danny — “the WHAT”). A large rectangular device with a flap at the back where ten square ‘cartridges’ can be placed in. They can be shot out from a smaller cuboid which is also connected to the main part of the device. These cartridges are fatal to Danny and as the name implies, instantly dissolve him into a goop of ectoplasm when hit. Only work on him as they’re keyed to his ectoplasm).
Fenton Incinerator (acid in a test tube which can dissolve ectoplasm within minutes. Jack should really label things correctly).

Is there an official starting date for the fight club meeting? I made my 1st s*** post but I want to schedule it on the calendar
Hey so the Phight Club is actually an organized tournament shitpost contest! This means you have to SIGN UP to participate! (It starts on the 1st)
There are only 64 total phighters. So once the slots are filled, the form closes.
The format for the Phight Club works that each round is a new prompt for people to make their silly creationphic, edit, art, comic, etc. For example, past prompts have been "Dumbest reveal" or "Danny Phantom AU" or "Fenton Technology." You can submit a prompt idea here if you would like.
So each round reveals a new prompt, then the phighters have a few days to make a piece of content for the prompt. They must release and submit it before the prompt closes. Once it does, a voting form is released for the round in which anyone—participant or not—can vote for their favorite for each head-to-head entry. Then the winners of each round advance, and losers are beaten behind the dumpsters with a Danno on a stick (haha jk....or am i?).
So sign up if you'd like to phight for the ultimate glory!

Intentional Creation
Prompter: @phantomphangphucker
Prompt: Danny created Phantom intentionally and knew full well what he was doing, the first time.
Words: 1508
In Danny’s totally unbiased opinion, his parents were naive. They were creating a portal to another world! Did they not expect said inhabitants from said world to make an appearance in the living realm? Or did they believe that somehow the very creatures they wanted to study wouldn’t be curious themselves?
“Don’t worry Danno! No ghost would dare cross through Jack Fenton’s portal!”
Sure.
“Danny, your parents are the experts, right? Just leave it to them! Everything will be okay!”
Yep… Nothing to worry about…
“Ghosts aren’t even real!”
Was everyone around him actually this stupid?
He should be playing the newest update for DOOM or studying for Mr. Lancer’s test on the Merchant of Venice. He should not be studying his parents research to make sure they didn’t blow up the house or contaminate him and Jazz again like they did the last time Jack and Maddie Fenton tried to invent a green energy source.
Suddenly Danny heard a knock on the door.
“Danny, it’s Jazz. Aren’t you going to get some sleep? We have school tomorrow!”
“Just looking over some papers.” Danny called. He heard his sister huff, but fortunately she didn’t push the issue forward. No doubt she herself would be up all night studying some new psychology book she had found in the library.
And she said that she was nothing like their parents.
He found himself glancing at the numbers. Math may not be his best subject, but to his untrained eye the calculations his mother made had no mistakes. The machine they were going to finish would certainly rip a hole into another dimension.
Then his dad would tell anyone and everyone who would listen that he would protect them from the threat he himself had created. His dad would go up against the wrong supernatural creature and…
Despite how much his father annoyed him, Danny loved the man. He couldn’t imagine a world without Jack Fenton. His mother, a former cop, might be able to handle the situation slightly better, but even she would become overwhelmed by the ghosts eventually. They needed someone who was on the same power level as the ghosts and who would protect humanity rather than harm it.
Didn’t his parents say that someone had gotten ectoradiation due to their naivety the first time they had built s portal? What was his name again… Paul… Chad? It didn’t matter. Maybe it was possible to replicate something like that! But instead of being contaminated, maybe one could fuse with the ectoplasm. But who could he convince to give up their humanity for the world?
Danny put down the papers. Didn’t Sam say she wanted to make a difference?
xXx
“Whoa! I can’t believe it dude! Your parents actually made a real portal.” Danny’s best friend Tucker Foley gawked at the expensive machinery in the wall.
“Yeah, if only it worked.” Danny eyed the knobs at the side of the portal. Everything was still in position fortunately. His dad for once in his life had decided not to fiddle with something he had not done.
“It’s actually pretty cool, even not working. Imagine the worlds that are barely out of reach.” Sam sighed.
Danny smiled. Sam was still innocent. He hoped that her optimism, despite being a ghost, would remain. It would suck if he had to repeat the experiment all over again. Tucker wouldn’t be as powerful a ghost. Anyone after that would be a malicious ghost that Jack Fenton would have the honour of destroying.
The goth gently touched the portal, as if it were something sacred. It was like she knew her place of death was here. Tucker snapped a couple of pictures. Danny watched them, noting each soft smile or excited look sent his way. Would they feel this way when the portal took everything they knew in a couple of minutes?
“Wanna look inside?” Danny asked. He felt his heart begin to race. This was the moment that would forever change humanity. In the future, kids would be talking about the origin story of Sammy Geist or Tucker Ghouly. Would they see him as a good person, or a mad scientist? Would they understand why he did this and not judge him only on his actions? Or would they allow his name to fade to time because no one would ever know that the accident wasn’t an accident?
“Sure Danny!” Sam grinned. Without a second thought she walked inside.
“I’m good dude. I’d rather not be inside, and the thing click on.” Tucker didn’t look up from his PDA.
Maybe he should have tried to get Sam to dress in a Hazmat suit. The extra protection could have led her into a false sense of security which would allow for mistakes to occur. The Hazmat suit also could have acted as a disguise. Sam Manson, Amity Park’s most famous goth, would never have been caught dead in one of those.
“What are all of these wires for? What about all these buttons? Tuck you’re the tech guru, you should really come inside.” Sam called.
“Actually Sam, I think you should get out.” Tucker warned. Did Tucker suspect something? Danny had never even written his thoughts down in a journal let alone share them with anyone else! How could his best friend even know?
Why did he suddenly feel so guilty?
“Just a sec Tucker!” Sam called. Her hand grazed a large red button. Danny wanted to tell her to push it or to startle her and cause her to “accidentally” press it. Yet the words refused to come from out of him. Why did he feel so terrible for wanting to save the world? What was one life to billions? It wasn’t like she was actually going to die!
Why was his life more important than Sam’s?
“Hey Sam, I want a turn to see!” Danny found himself calling. He watched as she safely exited the portal. He grabbed the suit his father had made especially for him and put it on.
Sam grinned, ripping off the picture of his dad’s face that he insisted on putting on everything. “You aren’t going in with that on, are you?”
“I guess not.” Danny tried to smile.
“Nervous? Just think of all the cool worlds that this portal can connect to.” Sam grinned.
He nodded, hoping to disguise his dread as minor fear. He took a step in the portal and began walking towards the button that Jack and Maddie Fenton in their infinite wisdom had chosen to keep. Time seemed to slow the closer he got to it. He could hear his own heart beat and feel every breath he took. Once he was transformed, would he miss feeling of breathing? There was no going back. If he chickened out now, Danny knew he would never build the courage to do this again. Then the world would be doomed.
Once he was close enough, Danny “tripped” and pressed the button. His walk of death couldn’t compare to the absolute freeze in time that occurred just after he pressed the button. The youngest Fenton swore he heard the phrase “All is as it should be…” before the light engulfed him into a world of agony.
He was glad that he didn’t force his best friends to experience it. His essence was ripped apart then sewn back together again. His heart raced before falling into a slow and steady rhythm. He was Danny Fenton, then he was nothing. He was human, until he wasn’t. Everything became dark.
He saw flashes of his life slip by and flashes of the future. He heard the screams of the dying and cries of those who were living for the first time. He felt sudden felt a weight that he had never known fall off of his shoulders. The freedom was only felt for a couple of seconds (or was it years?) before a much heavier weight was flung onto him.
He felt himself begin to walk. A light and a voice beckoned him forward. He felt something grabbing his leg, trying to keep him away. He knew he had to fight against it. If he stayed, then there would be no one to fight against his parents’ mistakes.
As he moved forward, the thing clutching his leg felt heavier and heavier. His steps became smaller and smaller. Maybe it was best if he stayed behind? Just as the it seemed that the thing would win, he broke free. He raced to the light, determined to not be trapped again.
“DANNY! DANNY!” Her heard a woman cry.
As he came closer, the light became a doorway. He smiled and stumbled across.
“Danny is that you?” Sam cried.
It worked?! Danny grinned. Everything would be fine now. Tomorrow there would be problems, but now there could be solutions. Ghosts would attack and he would be right there to stop them. The lack of sleep the previous night and the exhaustion of the portal claimed him. Danny fell into his last peaceful rest.

Ergo Proxy analysis
Ergo Proxy Analysis
Caro m'è 'l sonno, e più l'esser di sasso,
mentre che 'l danno e la vergogna dura;
non veder, non sentir m'è gran ventura;
però non mi destar, deh, parla basso.
My sleep is dear to me, and more dear this being of stone,
as long as the agony and shame last.
Not to see, not to hear [or feel] is for me the best fortune.;
So do not wake me! Speak softly.
The truth, the truth must be discovered.
The importance of truth is valuable to us as individuals and society. Knowing the truth we can grow and mature and especially blind ourselves with the truth that suits us, “find” our meaning and a purpose. In the show we often see different characters ask themselves their purpose.
The show rejects a human’s deeper meaning but the irony are the Autoraves, which exist only to fulfil their predetermined purpose and play out a role they have been given at their creation.
In this analysis I will be focusing more on the nihilistic and existentialistic side including the majority of the characters, such as Re-l, Raul Creed, Mayor and others.
In the show they mention raison d’etre. It means “a reason to be, reason for being”. Each of them, Autoraves and also humans have their primitive raison d’etre on which they rely to continue living and delusioning themselves with an illusion of a meaning, believing there is a reason they were born, a reason why they are alive and a reason to continue living. But as soon as the raison d’etre is demolished and annihilated, for them it equals in death and in psychological despair.
When humans reach this point they are unable to continue living. Their ideals and motivations shatter. Dreams are a fuel to move forward and very important to us, that is why they have such a great importance in life.
The need for purpose is one the defining characteristics of human beings. It’s a fundamental component and one of the biggest reasons we continue to strive ahead in life.
Ergo Proxy talks about going on a journey to find the truth and the acceptance of it.
The biggest role has Re-l. We find out, that every citizen in Romdeau, was made artificially in an underground laboratory. That’s why the idea of having a role to play out is much more powerful and real-looking than if they would been born biologically. As a grandchild of the town mayor, she bears a lot of responsibility and has high standards for others and as well for herself. When she meets Ergo Proxy or Vincent in form of a Proxy in her bathroom, starts wondering even more, striving for an answer. Re-l is aware that knowing the truth doesn’t equate to being happy, but despite this, her mental states goes for the worse.
But why are residents of Romedau so sure they have a meaning. It’s not just the artificial birth, but also the Proxys. Humans’ long time ago created this fake hierarchy, which gives them and us a sense of a reason, resolve, which again is fake. We find out that Proxy, even if granted “immortal” life are not any kind of gods they take themselves for. They were made nothing more than a tool to do a certain job. Proxys are a key to why humans exist, nonetheless it’s just a coincidence without any deeper meaning.
After a long time she finally accepts an obvious reality, there’s no escape from it. Once you know the truth you cannot flee and forget it.
That’s why most people stay unknowing, in ignorance of their true nature, inebriate in false reality. The one they create to keep living and breathing.
“Ignorance is bliss.”
The most significant probe is how you cope with knowing the truth. How will a human react and behave when it finds out there is no meaning to its life, that it values nothing? That it’s just a coincidence we were born.
In this case Re-l accepts it, when she could broke and even reject the truth. With this we can see her responsibility and maturity.
In the contrary Daedalus does not possess these traits. Instead of accepting that his feelings for Re-l are not mutual, he goes and creates a new version of her, which results in another disappointment and self-destruction. Throughout the whole show he turns eyes away from reality.
Let’s talk about Proxys being god for a bit more… They are immortal and have powers, such as inhuman strength and they even created the cities, so we could call them gods, right?
In the show they use a term “incomplete god” for Ergo Proxy. The Proxy is an incomplete god, since he was not made to be one. There is no such thing as Proxys being gods, which led them, to self-destruction.
One thing that’s unquestionable, is that the Romedau and countless other cities exist and were made by them, the Proxys.
“I think, therefore I am.”
But it’s “I think, therefore you are.”
There is this ideology in Ergo Proxy that the humans exist because Proxys think. The world exists, since it is being created, when a Proxy is looking at it. Without those who recognize this world as the world, it cannot exist.
They are not in this world when they are only observing it, but as soon as they are observed they exist.
Here we also see a mention of idealism. The subjective idealism holds that only minds and mental contents exist. That emotions, desires, beliefs do not exist, but are sheer illusions. When no one can hear, feel or see us, do we exist?
It denies an objective reality, but it asserts that this reality is completely dependent upon the minds of the individuals that perceive it.
On the other hand, Raul Creed reacts completely different from Re-l. He does not reject the truth, but his self-importance and high status makes him want to be a winner, even among losers. Raul understands despair, but something in him is telling to destroy it. To destroy the light of destruction, which their despairing world is yearning for. He wants to bring despair over the city before it’s due as an act of rebellion against the flow and sequence of events and as well to the Mayor himself.
As he finds the truth he wants to destroy it, but not out of rejection, but because he simply can and as I mentioned before, his egoism and self-righteousness makes him do it. However he’s equal to others, that’s why he fails, which results in death.
We can see another perspective in reaction knowing the truth with the Mayor and the statues he is with in the hall.
They all know the proxy granted them power, Autoraves and many other things.
They all know there is no answer, however they still ask the questions.
“Why do we exist?”
“Who will ease our solitude?”
“Why did you abandon us?”
“Why did you not love us?”
They ask questions they know there in no answer to.
Here is once more stated that if the Creator or the Ergo Proxy/Proxy One thinks, therefore they are, but it does not go other way around. If they think, it does not mean the Creator exist.
The world does not exist when the Creator does not think of it, so they wish he would think of them. This is their raison d’etre.
One of the episodes that gives the clearest message of nihilism is episode 19, where Pino goes to the Smile Land. The designs there want to ask their creator why did he made them, they desperately wanted to find out the meaning to their creation, however shocked when the creator itself says, that there is no meaning. He created them without any purpose. There’s nothing more to it.
Our happy fortune, not to see or hear,
Awake us not,
Till the end of time, hush, whisper low.
You have to sleep if wish to live, however it means also “the sorrow and melancholy of one who has lost something great and worthy.”

Orco
Art By https://warriorsofmyth.fandom.com/wiki/Half-Giant?file=Giant-and-man.jpg
The "Orchi" (Orco sng.), also known as "Morganti", are an intelligent species that lives throughout the Italian territory, especially in Puglia. They look a lot like a human being of extraordinary height, about 3 meters, with a very muscular body that gives them both a Herculean strength and a particular resistance for many types of magic, moreover they often have large ears and an important nose due to their extraordinary senses and a face with very marked features that give them a perennially worried and threatening air. The "Orchi" are omnivores and since they love to hunt, generally their diet is based on animals, they obviously haven't eaten human flesh for centuries, but this hasn't undermined the stereotypes that describe them as bloody and stupid beasts. Despite their fame, the “Orchi” are extremely skilled both in the use of transformation magic and in the creation of particular artefacts, although since honour in clashes and battles is still fundamental in their culture, and it isn't rare to find them doing risky jobs such as security guards and body.
