But I have not forgotten! I have just been really busy and have not had time to post the reacts I did in the past two months or so. Gonna try to catch up!

Hey, so I'm aware this is technically the middle of the episode but I ended up not liveblogging the rest of his because of IRL obligations. I unfortunately have not managed to liveblog 56, either, though I had a lot of fun watching it live with a friend!

I saw a post on here recently, and now I can't find it, but it was about Vespin Chloras and Ludinus Da'leth and Vasselheim and seemed to insinuate they were both there at the same time. My brain immediately went into a thought spiral bouncing around the possible different types of relationships Ludinus and Vespin could've had. If they knew each other, it was most likely a mentor/apprentice type relationship, unless Vespin was more of a parental figure to Ludinus. Could be both. Could be neither.

Then my brain went further rather rapidly, so how about a big brain idea:

What if the Matron of Ravens is Ludinus's mother?

Can you imagine the pain he would feel being unable to remember his mother's name or her face anymore but knowing she's now a god and has prevented anyone else from doing the same? She's abandoned you to suffer a mortal life with no way to follow her. What a strong way to fuel his disdain for the gods. Add in another mage who's teamed up with the betrayer gods who’s been your mentor or replacement parent, and wow, have you got a villain origin story.

And what better way to get revenge than to target her celestial champion and use him as a crucial part of the weapon that will destroy her and the rest of the gods.

Spoilery time for c3 ep55, let’s go lads 👏

I am straight up ✨ dead ✨ from this episode with it’s content, especially the LoveLetters (saw the ship name and it’s so god damn cute) stuff we got.

It was just so fucking adorable and quite a lot that I just can’t list it all here rn orz

It’ll be interesting to see how different it is with love between aeormatons compared to other humanoid races. ‘Cause of course, this relationship had sparked on quite quickly, but at the same time, maybe it’s just easier for aeormatons to get into a romantic relationship?

Anyways, let’s just say, I’m very interested to see how FRIDA and FCG’s relationship will develop until the latter- along with Imogen, Fearne and Chetney- will leave to find the rest of BH. Especially with- as we’ve seen so far- FRIDA indeed being able to help FCG a little when it comes to their stress points, so maybe FCG will be able to stay calm during this whole time in Wildemount :]

Overall, got quite a few drawing ideas from this episode (especially with the new look for FCG, let’s fuckiNG GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO), but I won’t be drawing it today- nor maybe tomorrow- as I got a headache from the content overload ;v;

‘Aight, so, even tho’ I should probably just wait until new character art arrives to make a new FCG ref sheet that’s influenced by said new character art, I’m also like-- dreading that we won’t see this new character art until BH fully reunite o(-(

So, I’ve been playing around with FCG’s design (with the help of my first FCG ref sheet), listening to the episode’s VOD a few times to make sure I got ever detail in (tho’, there’s some detail that I’m still a lil’ unsure of), etc. etc.

First of all, I did tweek the coloration of FCG to be a bit more gold-ish than light-ish yellow, and I also gave their gray metal a slightly more light coloration to it. I then began trying to figure out how much silver detailing they’ve got on them now, and if they slightly bulk out of their metal or something. And also, I was a bit unsure whether or not the discolored spots and the blue parts on their metal was still there after this upgrade, but I assumed that it’s gone now ‘cause... upgrade. Duh.

Also, I put un-upgraded FCG version here for comparison.

I ended up liking a bit of each of the versions I drew, so I tried combining the stuff I liked the most of each. Such as the chest and shoulder bits of the 2nd version, the arms of the 3rd version, and the heart symbol on the 1st version.

The only thing that I was unsure about was where exactly to place the heart symbol, to which I ended up with three different versions again. And also a version of each where the silver parts have a little extra detailing on them.

Lastly, I do have to admit. ... I posted about doing this redesign first on my twitter 😔 Sorry not sorry. But, as a lil’ sneak peek for y’all, I’m gonna show how I’ve designed their jacket so far :] (Which I haven’t shown on twitter yet)

Honestly, I do like how this jacket looks currently, but I might tweek it a little bit once I figure out which of these versions of FCG I’m gonna pick out as the one I’m gonna use (at least until new character art pops up). Although, right now, I am heavily leaning towards version 4 (heart symbol on the silver part, lower on their chest + lil’ extra detail on the silver).
