Do you know any mangas with good black representation ? Namely characters with black features because I feel it can be really tricky to implement them without seeming racist.

I think you can add black characters in manga without seeming racist!

I think anime and manga is moving in the right direction when it comes to black rep. And people should not be afraid to add characters like that. Many anime fans are black and love to see themselves!

Also a good account that posts black rep and dark skin rep would be @Blackanimechar on twitter (they haven’t posted since 2022) but it’s still good to look at

Canary Wharf x Wild West 🌆🤠

HOMBRE (1967) Grade: B

Really enjoyed this one. Paul Newman is magnetic as the lead — effortlessly cool, layered, and completely in control of every scene.

The dialogue is sharp throughout, but it really shines in the final act. There are a few standout lines toward the end that stick with you.

The climax delivers, too. It’s tense and earned.It doesn’t rely on cheap twists — it just builds naturally to a strong finish. Newman character has a sneaky grind the whole time like he knows what will happen next.

Definitely worth a second watch, especially to catch all the subtle touches you might miss the first time.

“Wanted to be a cowboy when I was a boy,” Simon grumbles.

And Johnny smiles like the cat that swallowed the canary. “You wanted to be a rootin’ tootin’ shootin’ cowboy?”

has the most hyper mystery mix dog you've ever seen. literally running circles around everyone all the time. mav takes him to the jet runway just so he can finally power himself out.

Iceman

got a german shepherd to look all official and respectable ... unfortunately his dog is the biggest couch potato known to man and would rather nap all day

Slider

has a super spoiled kitty cat that likes no one but him. definitely talks to her in a baby voice and refers to her as his daughter to everyone who asks. a million pictures on his phone of his favorite little diva (ice is his second). probably names her something worthy of a lady, like petunia, constance etc.

Goose

bradley. that's enough (carole probably has ducks or chickens)

Hollywood

none, he likes horses but doesn't really have the space for them

Wolfman

has a tiny yellow canary that follows him around everywhere and loves sitting on the brim of his cowboy hat. probably interrupts the other flyboys all the time by chirping loudly, making wolf laugh and be like "see, even Tweety is tired of your yapping"

Chipper

is allergic to most animal hair, so his parents got him a tortoise when he was a kid. she's still alive and probably will outlive all of them.

Sundown

has the most beautiful beagle lady, spoils her absolutely rotten - millions of toys, leashes, collars etc. and of course a huge soft dog bed right next to his

Merlin

doesn't have any pets but LOVES petsitting for the others

A/N: i headcanon Jimmy as the loud, stupid kind of drunk, but i thought that he could be soft just this once :)

"I don't think I've ever seen you this, uh... Relaxed." Tango chuckled, pulling a limp Jimmy up from their couch and towards the shared bed. Jim never usually drank this much, more of a social sipper than anything, but he and Tango had decided to have a quiet night in and... things had gotten out of hand.

His bodybag of a boyfriend gave no response but a hum of acknowledgement. Not bothering to hold back his fond grin, Tango heaved Jimmy to sit upright on the edge of the bed and ironically brushed his hands off.

"Whoo, being your partner is tough work..." He jested, leaning down to gently unbutton Jimmy's shirt for him in preparation for bed. "Y'know, I had expected you to be way louder when you're drunk. Louder and more annoying." The lightheartedness of the jab was clear in his voice, he hoped.

Tango was nearly done unbuttoning when Jimmy's hands reached around his shoulders and pulled him onto the bed, flopping backwards himself to make room. The blazeborn stumbled and collapsed in a heap right next to his parter, entangled together and laid at an awkward angle across the bed.

"Woah! What're you up to, man?" Tango laughed but was quickly cut off by a clumsy kiss straight on his lips. Their limbs were so entangled and trapped between each other that Tango couldn't hold Jimmy if he wanted to, so he just kissed back with all the gentleness he could muster. Jim had other ideas, pushing himself closer and trying to get even deeper into the kiss.

"Slow down, cowboy..." Tango hummed, amused. Jimmy took the hint and pulled away, lips now slightly redder than they were, and buried his face into Tango's chest despite their height difference.

"Awwh, did I offend you?" The blazeborn teased quietly, only to be met with the soft snores of an instantly asleep canary in his arms. He rolled his eyes and pressed a kiss to Jimmy's forehead.
