Also Free Vedic Education here is committed to arrange free Vedic education for more than 100 children every year. I have only rarely seen the god Agni, the god of fire speak in an educatied fashion. In other texts he is arrogant, beligrent, impulsive.

The twin headed god of fire presides over the faculty of speech. One head spouts insults and lies, the other tells the truth and is quite charming and gracious. He is not associated with the Fire of Knowledge, though clearly he benefits from it.

Here he gives us the benefit of the Lesson of the Swan.

Swans, as anyone knows are vicious evil creatures and you donot want to approach them, because they will bite, claw, and peck you, but in legend, they are able to strain milk from water.

The conceit of the swan then tells us when we seek personal greatness through the study of the Scriptures, we are able to sift what is false from what is true, what is gracious from what is vain, what benefits self and others from what is licentious.

Once the vehicle of the intellect demonstrates its mastery of what is real (the sun), ceases to discuss nonsense, reflecting a shared frame of reference with other sane persons (the moon), the duality of the god of fire is extinguished.
