When you show people your writing, can you stay in the room as they read your stuff, or do you have to, like, leave the premise?

It’s 50/50 sadly 😔

Sometimes I’ll stay in the room

and sometimes if I deem it slightly too spicy I get up and pace in the kitchen then go to my room for about an hour then come back out and say

“so how was itttt :D”

As if I didn’t just have a panic attack over the positions not making sense yor something not being realistic etc etc…
