Here are a few pieces i did for fun and practice. There are mistakes but i finished them anyway because I heard that improvement is greater in those that produce a lot versus those that produce a few pieces that are perfect. Im not sure though at this point if I am improving or just wasting paper! How does it work for you? Here's a post with some ideas ive been working on (plus a portrait which I do for fun) I had an idea to make stickers of threatened Australian wildlife and donate all profits to one of the organizations caring for the animals. I got a new palate and used it for the #Sennelier and #MGraham #watercolour paints I have. I grouped them together because they are both #honey based and of excellent quality. I also #swatched the paints and made a #mixingchart (of the single pigment colors) Swipe on through to see the colors and chart as well as the painting i made from these paints behind a frame. And, these paints are indeed fabulous to use! Earth, air, water, fire, the elements. I want to include more detail in my pieces. Of recent i've added a little colored pencil or markers for line work. Using watercolor alone seems to slow me down too much or cause too many mistakes. What are your experiences with combination of mediums for your illustrations or art and what is your favorite combination to use? Or do you prefer to work with one medium above all others?
