i got called a “Country Bumpkin” a few days ago and wasn’t sure what it meant. I told my mom about it today and she explained it to me (not in these words) as basically a country bimbo/himbo. Like “oh, they don’t know any better, they’re just a country bumpkin.”
i feel like I’m supposed to take that as an insult, but honestly it’s kinda comforting. I have a high iq, so I’ve always been intelligent, and because of that I always felt pressured to be the smartest person in the room. I didn’t let myself ask questions because I was worried people would think I was stupid. I always put myself in a leadership role because people expected me to know what was going on, even when I didn’t. Basically, I forced myself to act like an adult even though I was a kid.
recently though, I’ve been letting myself rely on other people. I’ll get on VRchat, put on a cute avatar and my banner that says “pet me”, and turn my brain off. My joke I tell people is “I’m really smart, I just choose to be stupid”. I value my intelligence, but when I act like a dumb puppy, people don’t expect me to know things I don’t. They don’t expect me to be mature or have everything together. “He’s just a puppy, it doesn’t know any better.”
i love that I’m smart, but I also love that people think I’m dumb or an airhead, because that lets me be able to be myself unapologetically. So pleasepleasePLEASE call me a Country Bumpkin, call me a dumb baby, call me your stupid puppy. Make me feel like you don’t need me to be smart for me to have value.

Yeah, Prudence is Hot after all...
Now that we have removed the Kool Aid and Chips Ahoy (Do the companies know they are sharing the same panel, which does seem like it would be a dilution), maybe we can retcon the tray Betty is holding so this turns into one of those Hostess Fruit pie ads of the late 1970s / early 1980s -- the girls will win the boys back from "It turned out she was hot after all" Prudence with those Hostess Pies!
Though. The Chips Ahoy package is not as cleanly delineated as Nabisco should want it to be.

I live in a small town in Arkansas with absolutely notching to do in it and let me tell you, the trope of country bumpkin going to a city and being amazed by everything is true bc it lowkey happens to me. And I’m not even as bumpkiny as the trope usually gets
The first time I saw a dump truck I was like 12 and amazed, anytime we're at a big city (one with more than one story) mall I want to "ride the escalator" like it's a roller coaster cuz we got none, I think of public busses like a ride too, and I get a little amazed when I see a bus stop anywhere within 40 minutes of where I live
I dont even live in a neighborhood so I have like no kids my age around to play with and never really have
Pros and cons of living in the county
Pros: more nature, clearer night skies, peaceful, perfect
Cons: get cheated out of most normal kid/teen experiences

Pumpkin Bread
Now here is a recipe that can be used during the Thanksgiving season as well as the Christmas season although when it comes to food and of course I know how to prepare all the recipes that I share with everyone everyday can be a holiday for me depending on what my taste is for a particular day.
Every persons taste is different and that is what makes the world go around, but there isn’t much that I don’t like when it comes to the sweet things.
Remember your ingredients should be at room temperature.
1-2/3 cups all-purpose flour 1
