They’ve appointed themself as his best friend, and ever since, they refuse to leave him alone if they sense there’s a problem. They lean beside him against the drinkhouse wall. “The Lamb looked… angry when they left. Did you two fight?” “No, not this time.” That’s what makes it worse. They saw the look on his face and made their decision. He knows how they feel about it, but he’s letting them do this anyway. Because the alternative… the screams… “They went to get something. Someone.” “...Being?” Astaroth arches an eyebrow. “Oh, you know,” Narinder says. Another gulp of tea. “Leshy.”
