Popular Excursions in Tenerife
Visiting Tenerife for the first time could be a little bit overwhelming. There is so much to see and so many breathtaking sites to visit.
The Island of Tenerife is kind of divided, into the North, rainy in winter and South, sunny all year round part. Guess where all the tourists go? Bingo: you guessed it correctly, to the South.
The most popular Tourists areas in the South are Los Cristianos, Las Americas with Veronicas, Costa Adeje, Puerto Colon, San Eugenio and Fanabe.
The most visited places are Teide, Loro and Siam Park. Some of the most popular excursions are Whale and Dolphin watching. Where you go by boats, to see them in their natural habitat in the Ocean.
(Image Below: Garajonay National Park La Gomera)
Garajonay National Park,
From the South, you can see the Island of La Gomera. One of the excursions will take you on a day trip around Gomera with lunch and demonstration of the whistling language, Silbo Gomero, also known as el silbo (‘the whistle’), used by inhabitants to communicate before the telephone era, but still alive today. There are as many as 70 other whistled languages in the world, and they all exist in remote mountain villages.
The Ferry to La Gomera leaves from The Port of Los Cristianos at 9:00am. You have the option to be picked up from your accommodation or to come directly to the port. The journey takes around 50-55minutes. Mini bus collects you from The Port of San Sebastian de La Gomera and goes around the Island with the stops at the Restaurant for a lunch, Natonal Park Garajonay for a walk and Capital city for a break.
IMPORTANT: You will need your passport or identity documentation to board the ferry. If you forget the passport, you will be denied access to the ferry

The 10 best beaches in Spain
Spain is a country that, without a doubt, never disappoints. We can describe it as the land that has it all. Wonderful and colorful landscapes, rugged mountains to lose yourself and, as a good point, a large stretch of coastline that houses the best beaches in Spain. In them, you can relax and enjoy excellent baths throughout the day accompanied by exquisite cuisine. If you are going to travel to this country full of surprises, you can not fail to include in this itinerary this ranking with the 10 best beaches in Spain. And visit them all!
1. La Concha Beach, in San Sebastián
La Concha Beach is the most famous of the coastal city of San Sebastián and has become one of the best beaches in Spain in recent years. In addition, it is recognized as one of the best urban beaches in all of Europe. It is located in the bay of La Concha, an area that has the same shape as the object that gives it its name. On one side we find Mount Urgull, on the other we can glimpse Mount Igueldo. It can be accessed from the city hall and, upon arrival, it is not uncommon to admire its golden sands and crystal clear waters. It is ideal to practice endless water sports, but also to enjoy and relax on one of the best beaches in northern Spain.
2. Ses Illetes Beach, in Formentera
Sands that look like pulverized gold, calm crystalline waters ... No, we are not talking about the beaches of the Caribbean, we are talking about Ses Illetes, the most famous beach on the entire island of Formentera. With all the range of blues you have, do not doubt that here you can enjoy one of the paradisiacal beaches in Spain. It is famous for being surrounded by exquisite nature. In addition, if you drop by there you can admire in first person a beautiful white sand beach, but also the endless yachts and sailboats that sail along this beautiful corner. It is advisable to visit it at any time of the year, although if you want to squeeze it to the fullest and be able to enjoy a relaxing bath, without a doubt the ideal is to visit it during the hot months in Spain, from June to September. If you prefer quiet beaches, stop by in the months of May and October. No doubt the visit will be worth it!
3. Playa de Muro, in Mallorca
The Playa de Muro is known as one of the best beaches in Spain because, among other things, it has excellent quality. It has, nothing more and nothing less, than five kilometers in length. In addition, in its vicinity, you can enjoy some of the best hotels in Spain on the beachfront and many services, which makes it one of the beautiful beaches to visit as a family. It is located north of the famous island of Mallorca. He obtained the title of Natural Area of Special Interest thanks to its calm waters and warm white sand. Several species of fish and birds coexist here, which makes it a truly unique beach and wildlife area in Spain. In its surroundings, you can find a wide variety of high-quality hotels and a good range of services and leisure such as golf clubs, horse riding, and fishing. Without a doubt, one of the most accessible beaches in Mallorca for all types of trips.
4. Playa de Cofete in Fuerteventura
In this ranking of the best beaches in Spain, you can not miss Playa de Cofete. It is one of the coastal areas with less urban development and greater dimensions of Fuerteventura. Here you can enjoy a wild beach, along with a feeling of freedom thanks to its extensive brown sands and the aggressive ocean that bathes them. It is ideal to enjoy it uploaded in a 4 × 4 since the access road is formed by stones and earth, making the arrival more difficult. A journey of almost ten kilometers that we must overcome with great skill, in order to visit one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. Of course, if you are in good physical shape, the crossing will have been totally worth it. Admire the beautiful beach landscapes from the viewpoint and do not hesitate to exercise caution at any point where you are. Playa de Cofete has been recognized as one of the best beaches in Fuerteventura and it is not for less.
5. Barrosa Beach in Chiclana
La Barrosa is the great beach of Chiclana. This also makes it one of the best beaches in southern Spain. With eight kilometers of extension and width that in some of the sections exceeds 100 meters, it becomes a truly unique space where you can enjoy one of the greatest treasures that the peninsula has: the sea. In this beautiful beach of Cadiz, we can enjoy fine golden sand. It stands out for having a bottom not too deep and a moderate swell, which makes it an ideal area for those travelers looking for quiet beaches. The wind can strongly affect the days of the east. However, it is always less strong than in other areas further south of Spain such as Zahara or Tarifa. The dunes, those days, become natural parapets to enjoy an excellent and peaceful beach day. If you visit this beautiful beach, remember that its sunsets are really a movie.
6. El Duque Beach, in Tenerife
If you are a sun and relaxation lover, this is undoubtedly the best beach in Spain for you. Playa del Duque has all the amenities you can imagine. It should be noted that it owns the blue flag badge, which indicates quality assurance for both its waters and the rest of the services offered in the area. It is located in the tourist area of Costa Adeje. In front of it, we can enjoy some of the best beach hotels in Spain. It also has characteristic gray sand and is bordered by a coastal walk that connects it to other of the best beaches in Tenerife. Accessing it is easy by car and, next to its crystal clear waters, endless restaurants and exclusive shops meet. Within the beach, you can have services such as hammocks, parking, showers, and even telephone. It has everything to be one of the best summer beaches in Spain.
7. Sotavento Beach, in Fuerteventura
If you want to enjoy a magnificent day at the beach, the south side of the Sotavento beach will be the perfect place to do it.
