((Hi! I think I've sent you asks before. If I haven't, I'm so sorry, I keep meaning to.

Favourite TV show of all time is a British kids show from late 80s/early 90s called Knightmare. Highly recommend looking it up, they were doing some incredible things with early blue screen tech. It was a game show. Teams of 4 went into this mythical dungeon with one actually walking through the dungeon blindfolded by a helmet "to protect them from the magic" (to hide the fact there was nothing there) while the other 3 stayed in the main area with some kind of scrying device (a spare monitor) and would take the time to describe all the effects they could see and guide their friend around pitfalls and through puzzles. Very difficult show, in its 8 seasons, only 8 teams ever won't with seasons 1 and 3 having no winners at all. Its only available on youtube these days, i think so every so often i go rewatch some old clips and interviews. A lot of the actors are still around and firmer contestants definitely are!))

Thad stares at the paper as Jess runs from him.

"I don't know if I love this or hate this." His brain keeps oscillating from one to the other as he stares longer and longer at the drawing.

At least he wasn't called a silly goose out loud this time. But at the same time....

He stares at the drawing. Were they calling him a silly goose with this drawing? But they also put effort into this. And he kinda liked the silly little drawing. But he wasn't a silly goose....But it was cute.

As his mind went back and forth on the topic like a metronome, Thad didn't even try to run after Jess. His feet were stuck in place as he found himself too deep in thought to even care to go after them.

I'm glad Porter made the blatant comparison between The Cosmoteers and Kon's three closest friends on Earth with Pira's dialog here, because we see it clearly as readers. They are not a true linear comparison to Bart, Tim, and Cassie - but at the surface level their powers and presence are reminiscent of Young Justice.
