REUNITE, I WANT TO EMBRACE YOUR LIGHT

an experimental piece that i began some time ago, and finally finished! my ape kaiju oc, ayisha, displaying her full celestial potentiality! ✨🦍

After her cosmic enlightenment, the planet Aephimar directly attached itself to her very essence. It's gravitational pull and alignment in the solar system fell in place with her own, and now Ayisha exists in a symbiotic connection with her homeworld. Although she cannot manipulate it in any form, her heartbeat and very soul allows aids the planet in it's natural rotations. This is not the first time Aephimar has attached to a shauldonon, insisting that the shauldonon are a natural phenomenon— and a sacred one, at that.

with this context in mind, this can be interpreted as ayisha either gaining that connection, or helping push aephimar into a cascade of night! :)

I Got Fired for My Disability, and It’s Not Right

Hey everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart, but I feel like I owe it to all of you to share what’s been going on. Recently, I was fired from my new job because of my learning disability. It hit me like a ton of bricks when my boss told me that if she had known about my disability during the interview, she wouldn’t have hired me. That’s not just unethical—it’s illegal.

For weeks, I struggled in a toxic environment where I was constantly yelled at for not learning fast enough, despite doing my best every day. I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. The stress was taking a toll on my mental and physical health. I wasn’t just trying to keep up with the fast pace; I was also fighting to prove that my disability doesn’t define me.

But now, I’m relieved to say I don’t have to endure that suffering anymore. As hard as it was, getting fired may have been a blessing in disguise. No one should have to work in an environment where they’re made to feel worthless for something they can’t control.

I’m honestly at a crossroads now. I’ve been treated like this so many times for being disabled, and it makes me wonder if it’s time to put everything into Cosmic Funnies. Maybe this is a sign to take the leap and turn it into my full-time job. I’ve been passionate about making astronomy fun and accessible for everyone, and it feels like a space where I’m appreciated for my creativity, not punished for how I learn.

I don’t have all the answers right now, and I’m not sure what’s next. But I wanted to be transparent with you, my community, because your support has always meant the world to me.

Thank you for being here with me during this difficult time. I’m hoping better days are ahead.

ever since the trailblazer got an actual bed, it's become a thing that they sleep in a lot and their sleep schedule gets fucked up really easily (just like me fr)

march and tb got a blind box and dan heng found the right toy using cloudhymn echolocation ("BRO ARE YOU A BAT???") so they started calling him the capsule master. they're so funny i love them sm

Lately, I've been struggling with everything. My mom's dementia is advancing, I’m facing financial difficulties, and I'm overwhelmed with college work as I prepare to graduate soon. This makes it challenging for me to focus on the Cosmic Funnies store and create new comics. I'm currently working on a new collection for the back-to-school season, including iOS icons, but my chronic fatigue and depression often make it hard to function. I hope you all understand when I don't post new content. I promise to update you with new posts as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience and support.

Struggling to Create but Still Here

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to check in and let you know I’m still here. It’s been tough creating new content lately. A lot has happened—being wrongfully terminated from my job because of my learning disability, dealing with my mom’s progressing dementia, and struggling financially after my financial aid for my master’s program ran out. All of it has made it hard to find the motivation to create or even function some days.

Most days, I’m just sleeping, and when I do work on illustrations, it’s random and slow because chronic fatigue and depression make everything feel heavy. I really want to get back into creating because when I’m not working on my series, I feel so empty, like I have no purpose. I’ve also wanted to focus on my online store, but it’s been hard to get into the right headspace. I hate feeling like this—crying all the time, sleeping all day, not eating, and thinking I’m a failure.

I just hope I can find my creative spark again. Thank you for sticking with me through all of this. I hope you’re all having a great day.
