Kaden handed their phone to Paul, who hesitated before taking it. "Check this out," they said, swiping through the photos. The screen was filled with images of flowers, close-ups of leaves, bugs, other various plant life, and then, dozens of bumble bees. Paul chuckled softly, his brow furrowing in curiosity.

"You really like bumble bees, huh?" Paul remarked, glancing up at Kaden. "There are so many of them here. Is there a story behind it?"

Kaden's eyes lit up, a smile spreading across their face. "I just think they're the cutest little things. Their fuzzy butts are adorable! They work so hard, but they always look so happy and chubby. I can't help but take a picture every time I see one."

Paul's smile widened at Kaden's enthusiasm, He found their affection for the little creatures endearing and honestly, quite adorable.

Tell me everything about Akashi please

Oh shoot doing I never show you her?

BUCKLE UP HOMIE UR IN FOR A RIDE!!

Akashi is based on a leafy sea dragon and the phrase "Red skies at night, sailors delight, red skies come morning, sailors heed warning" and activlu looks like a bad omen, mirroring Aru who's also sunrise themed but outwardly doesn't seem menacing.

This is on purpose cuz the 2 are sworn enemies

also under the cut is mentions of enslavement and cannibalism cuz I'm realizing that might make ppl uncomfortable

Aru (cuz I have to mention her to explain Akashi) is a Andro Celest mascarading as a God, and running a space empire, a traitor to her own kind and let her subordinates keep "prizes", one was Akashi, the other was....someone else. Akashi is seen to the equivalent to a king owning an exotic tiger, barely fed a diet of meteors to not starve,,but notvwnough to be able to produce the "dragon fire" that would free her. Her companion, an eagle ray, seeing they both wouldn't make it alove, offered their body to be consumed so at least one could go free and warn the rest of their kind, and an ask to just...keep some of their bones in memory. Akashi agreed with tears in their eye, the bones are the jewels at the ends of her hair.

Akashi is now on the hunt to destroy everything Aru has created.

(If I've never mentioned here about the consensual cultural cannibalism aspect to here...yeah the Andro Celests do that, but inky when they get too big and slow...they keep growing until it's hard to find food to sustain their size, then they go to Vana [another Andro Celest] to talk/write their stories, get the word out of who gets what bones, and consumed back to Stardust by her and loved ones so they always get remembered. It's why after u believe...Delyssa, every Andro Celest ice drawn has bone jewelry. But yeah Akashi's is a sad one cuz the Eagle Ray COULDVE lived but is living a a pet really living?? )

I've already convinced her to watch Over the Garden Wall (she loved it and now we watch it every summer) and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (she liked some of it but I don't think she loved it).
