Okay but kas!eddie au where he betrays vecna before the Gang go back to the upside down, so instead of having them to support him he has to find different reinforcements.

He reckons, "If I'm some weird vampire now, cant hurt to test out some vampire lore right?"

He gets into Vecnas mind and is able to revive Chrissy and Patrick. Theyre not exactly sure what they are cos theyre defo not as eldritch horror as kas!eddie is now. However, there's absolutely something Different and inherently Upside Down about them. Their limbs don't look quite normal, and their eyes. Their EYES. Their eyes are enhanced. Taken out, replaced and upgraded almost. They're not quite sure what this all means yet but they don't have much time to think about it as they need to find a base.

They decide to head to Steve's place, Upside down version, because let's be real, Eddie's curious what his place looks like, even if it's slimy and grimy. Plus, he figures rich King Steve will have plenty of space and equipment for them to work with.

There, they find the body of Barb, who clearly has been there a lot longer than the rest of them but Eddie tries anyway, because despite not knowing Nancy until recently, he had seen the way she had changed after Barb went "missing".

Unexpectedly, it works. Barb is different from all three of them though. There's something... fluid and liquidy about the way she moves. As if she could melt into a puddle at any moment.

Eddie's not sure how he ended up teaming up a cheerleader, a jock, and a girl who had been considered dead for years, all of them now clearly being SOME kind of supernatural being. But if it means one more person by his side on his mission to get the fuck out and save his friends? Then he'll manage.

much much much to think about with the ‚different version‘ of the runaway au where max gives birth while being found/ or right after/

cos while max is still unconscious and resting his tired body in daniel‘s bedroom after, dan has to deal with a tiny baby and a toddler on his own — and he has never done that before?! like yeah he has held and played a bit with some packmate‘s pups before but sbfjsks he has never actually taken care of a 2 year old and a literally day old pup. what the hell.

so he watches youtube tutorials cos he is not a fast reader and seriously, there is no time for him to buy and read parenting books. and he feels so bad because he literally doesn‘t even have an baby clothes! he can only wrap tiny sophie in a blanket and shop the most necessary things online (read as: dan bought everything unnecessary from that baby store) and pay more so it‘s delivered in the same day still sksksk

and noah is so sweet and dan immediately loves the kid so much! noah helping him bc he is just naturally such a big brother and daniel is actually so grateful for him. and noah tells him about his meymey with such love and how max always plays and cuddles with him and always makes him laugh, he loves meymey so much😭 and it‘s just spurring daniel on even further to make this right and help the omega who, quite clearly now, doesn‘t have any safe space 🥺

and dan with sophie dvdjk he is so stressed because she always cries when he holds her and he doesn’t know how to make her stop until he sits on the couch trying to rock her and noah gives her his finger to suckle on, and it‘s the first time that she stops crying. also he literally runs around in a shirt that‘s stained with baby spit and some food and vomit even ajajsjsj and at the end of the day he is just like..how in the fuck do single parents survive 🥲 (which makes him just more in awe of max and how he took seemingly very good care of noah even while running while pregant)

Truly poor Dan having to deal with this all tho. Like poor Max too; obviously, but Dan's world is suddenly turned upside down and he isnt sure what to do, has so many responsibilities now and he is very much panicking!

Him Express ordering everything he can think off and then just making sure Sophie is as comfortable as can be wrapped in a shirt or towel. And he goes in to check on Max every few minutes, hoping he wakes but Max is in shock, high on painkillers too and doesnt respond.

And Noah being such a good brother!!! Like he sits on the bed with Max a lot but also toddles after Dan because Dan looks scared and Sophie is crying and Noah wants to help! Daniel honestly loves that kid so much and he could cry out of happiness himself when Sophie quiets down while suckling on his finger.

And then Max wakes and comes stumbling in to the living room to see the Alpha who saved them in a spit and food covered shirt with Noah next to him and Sophie in his arms and he can see the Alpha is so fucking frazzled jsksks

Max just taking Sophie a bit awkwardly and trying to nurse her (flustered over dan being there but also feeli nnngg oddly safe) and Noah is just rambling away at him while Dan just looks at Max in awe cos how can Max bot freak out every 3 seconds trying to keep these kiddos happy??

man why do i get so passionate about fiction like.. it can be good but also bad?? it means i can be really cheered up by stuff but also sometimes i can get really depressed by stuff and then i feel pathetic and unable to really talk to anyone cos its such a dumb cause for it or i dunno.. i know rationally it isnt really “lol stupid bunni got depressed from a bad vidjagaem” but more like if i’m already having a fragile day it can push me over the edge but i still feel pathetic...

anyway today has been a stupid cavalcade of all that i got super sad at robert’s several bad endings in DDADDS, and i feel like i was stupid to go try and find them all at once if they were gonna be upsetting and then by coincidence one of my fave lets players started playing a game that was super dark and horrory and depressing, and i didnt know it was gonna be like that until the end of the first episode

and now i’m stuck like “man i wanna marathon watch the whole thing” cos even though its depressing i really wanna know the ending to all these weird mysteries and like i hope maybe it’d be something good that’d make me feel better?? or maybe its one of those shitty horror games thats just got no meaning at all and its just dark for the sake of dark ehhhh

i just know it really frustrates me cos the protagonist is literally a mentally ill abused kid and he’s supposed to be a villain like the plot is that you are an evil evil murdering tiny ten year old who has been arrested for being super evil and theyre doing some sort of experimental drugs on you cos you’re gonna get the death penalty anyway DEATH PENALTY ON A CHILD so then its like one of your standard “ooo fakeout cuteness” type games where you’re having a “happy dream” in a magical fantasy world and then it turns out everyone there is somebody you killed and the protagonist is all “man i dont feel any guilt at all they totally deserved it and i’m super evil” and like.. its really framed like a messed up hollywood version of mental illness? like the “hollywood psychopath”. He literally doesn’t understand why killing is bad or why he should be scared of dying. yet like its somehow also his personal fault and he needs to feel guilt and all, and somehow character develop out of having a goddamn mental illness. And like.. why are we blaming the kid as if he chose to be this way?? where’s the horrible trauma drug dream for his abusive mum and dad who caused him to develop this illness in the first place??? so like simultaneously its so depressingly frustrating because the game is blaming a kid they JUST SAID is not responsible for his own actions, but also they;’ve written him so fundementally unlikeable because of how they wrote this weird hollywood “psycho” thing. At every turn they dont want him to be sympathetic, so like.. why should i even want to play the game then??? and i looked it up and apparantly there’s three endings and all of them are “he’s irredeemable and he dies”. he either gets executed, he chooses to never wake up from the hell dream, or he wakes up and just commits suicide anyway. what was the fucking point just like ten hours of hearing loads of stories about how this kid was abused to hell and back, and then he murdered everybody, and then its all his fault he was fucking abused and everyone hates him and he dies and any and all endearing characters along the story either dont really exist, or they’re ghosts of people he murdered and they all hate him and god why do all these stories about the abuse and the murders and stuff have to be so viscerally disturbing aaa you go on a happy adventure with this nice chef girl and then you find out she’s the representation of a random classmate who had a birthday on the same day as you and you killed her cos your parents treated you like shit on your birthday. “oh this blessed girl who has everything i don’t, can this blessed girl fly?” and then you see a really detailed sprite of her mangled body after she fell down the stairs, and hear her inner monologue about how she was still alive for a few seconds and just wondered why her dad was upside down and why he was crying. and then it just snaps back to happy happy fantasy world version where she’s your friend, and then after you leave the room its back to horror version again and her corpse murders you and you wake up again to start the next day. and also apparantly he killed a zookeeper and some monkeys or something. I DONT EVEN KNOW

i dont like horror games.. if i knew this was a horror game i wouldnt have clicked on it i really hate how i always have this “always give it a chance” and “i need to know how it ends” thing so i cant stop watching an LP or playing a game even if i’m not enjoying it
