It was sweet, or at least as sweet as a little girl could be. kakashi was never a fan of children & he had made it blatantly clear on many occasions. Still, he had agreed to help watch Ino while her father was away on a mission. It was a part of being a shinobi; many would pass around the task of caring for children with nowhere else to go. Inoichi didn't want to leave his daughter alone as his mission would take him out of the village for over a week & Kakashi had ended up with the responsibility for the day. He had let her loose in his overgrown backyard where she zeroed in on his mother's overgrown rosebushes. After some much-needed love that the child happily showed the plant, she carefully plucked her favored flowers from the rampant garden. When she started to weave them into a neat crown of flowers, Kakashi knew what was going to happen next.

It was something he had only heard of in passing. How easily this little girl had managed to wrap the entirety of the torture & interrogation unit around her little finger. Kakashi had always thought that they were exaggerating when he heard stories of seasoned shinobi walking home from meetings with Inoichi with a new halo of flowers on their head. Kakashi muses that Ino had chosen her next victim.

He thinks of rejecting her gift but the words get stuck in his throat. Instead, he resigns to sit in the grass with her, watching her put the finishing touches on the admittedly lovely flower crown. She had boiled it down to an art, weaving smaller plants in between the actual flowers to keep it from being too dull. When she sets it upon his head, he tries to sound more exasperated than he feels, " Do I look pretty, Ino? "

Though he sighs, there is still warmth in his voice. This was more endearing than he wanted to admit. He wonders, vaguely how hard it would be to learn how to do something like this.

Durins endure!

Day 3 - Durins day, of the Dwarrowtober 2024 prompts

There are many mentions of the battle of Azanulbizar and it includes the use and loss of its child soldiers (though nothing graphic) as well as the grief and hoplessness of Thotin being a child king with the corwn thrust upon him.

Summary: It is the first Durins day after the battle of Azanulbizar. After their losses, as a clan, as a people, as a family.

What is left of the longbeards have to keep going, they have to survive this next harsh winter still reeling from their losses.

What coice does Thorin have, what choice does his people have. After all, they are Durins, and Durins endure.

And of course an excerpt:

Azanulbizar had been a nightmare of dwarven making. Of his grandfather’s making, and Thorin carried that shame with him. The blood of their kin still stained the ground of the valley where the dwarves had fought the orcs in a battle that had been so fierce, so unrelenting, that even the victors had been left broken by it, many of their body parts found even as what could be found had to be thrown on large pyres. That was no way for a dwarf to meet their Maker. No way for a Longbeard to end their time in Arda. No ending befitting any but the most lawless dwarf, which none of those that had been consumed by the flames were. They had been honourable, brave and ready to fight in a war that should never have happened. Thorin could still hear the clash of metal, the screams, the endless waves of orcs crashing against their line. Fighting just as ferociously, angered by the dwarves, by Thror’s, relentless attack on them for the past 6 years. Looking back, Thorin could see the desperation of the orcs. Something he would never have imagined they could feel. But the dwarves had pushed them back. Attacked their settlements, murdered their females and children in cold blood, all because Thror could never be content with what he had and what they had built.

Different opinions on Rajwa and Hussein's relationship :

Theories based on what people say :

1/ They like each other but Hussein has a reserved personality .He doesn't express his feelings in public :

-So that his people take him seriously.

-Because his people are conservative and traditional.

Or simply because he is a shy person!

2/ Their marriage is arranged yes but they started to like each other afterwards.

- Two of my friends were introduced to each other in a traditional way yet they fell in love with their husbands afterwards.

3/ The reasons behind this arranged marriage are :

- For Hussein: To benefit from Saudi Royal links and money.

-For Rajwa : She's after fame . I doubt that she is a gold digger since it is said that her father is a billionaire.

Well, in this case it's a FAIR GAME since each of them is taking advantage of the other.

4/ Prince Hussein is naive, he can't even choose his wife so how can he rule a country?

That's really absurd because king Abdullah chose his wife who was a "commoner" yet he failed to rule the country: He is so corrupt, Jordan is in economic crisis, poverty rate: 24,1 % unemployment rate : 22,90% and so on....

5/ Queen Rania and her PR team are trying to promote Rajwa:

Well, I can't deny this. It's obvious.

Yet, it's very legitimate because Rajwa is the Future Queen of Jordan !

6/ Comparing Iman and Jameel's love story to Hussein and Rajwa's :

- The two couples are not there to entertain you with their love stories. They are not characters in a romance movie.

- Hussein is a corwn prince. He chose his wife accordingly .

Maybe he prioritized his country over himself.

Please don't compare Jameel who is Iman's husband to Rajwa who's gonna be Jordan's Queen one day!!

Plus, it's known that Iman is very low-key and she hates the attention and I think she chose to live a peaceful life with her husband out of the public eye.

it makes me so so so happy tht ppl like mystical coquette, bc so much of my girlhood was growing up on an island, and loving the occult and being in nature, watching as many old movies as I could, wearing flowers in out hair and making flower corwns, nd i still spend as much time as I can in the forest, now my spirituality and deity work is such a big part of who i am, i'm just so happy i can express tht n coquette and ppl like get it.
