OKAY SO. by pure coincidence you have hit me square in one of my silliest headcanons ever. which is that at some point fingon found a hatchling dragon in the far northern foothills of ered lómin and took it home with him. she was left out in the cold for too long as a baby so her growth is severely stunted and the most firebreathing she can do is, like, lighting fingon's lamps for him, but she loves him so much and likes to sleep at the foot of his bed to keep his toes warm in the winter. he hides her whenever fingolfin visits but people keep spotting her when he takes her out to hunt and so he keeps getting increasingly suspicious letters from his dad like. hey just wanted to confirm. you Did kill that dragon you found that one time right. and he's like yeah bestie for sure! with tintalle on his lap purring up a storm while he writes. she likes to tangle up his spare ribbons and sit on them and Will Not accept any other hoarding material :D

I’m well aware that harp/lyre isn’t realistic. It’s supposed to be a combo of the two of those things and also, it makes me happy. Maybe one day I’ll draw him with a correctly sized harp.

I added some decorations for his chainmail shirt because I think feanor woul 100% do that.

I tried to make sure that he looks like a prince even in armor.

I also didn't gave him pants -because I could I copied that from the many drawings and statues of roman soldier who didn't needed pants either!

I gave him average elven height but the buff kind of body type.

I also tried to draw some different facial expression.

I do think feanor looks like his dad but with thicker eyebrows.

I'm sorry for the quality of the photos I can't seem to find my little light for photos oh and ignore the cat hair. My cat is shedding so they are everywhere :)

Naming my cat Finrod was honestly one of my best life decisions. Mainly because it leads to quite peculiar statements on a daily basis:

Finrod is hiding in the closet again.  I spent two hours cuddling with Finrod instead of doing work. No regrets. Finrod is shy at first, but just let him observe you for a while, he’ll come on his own, and then you’ll never be rid of him. Finrod Felagund, Lord of Nargothrond, stop chewing that plant! me: I've given Finrod 3 different types of food today, and he licks each one a little, walks away, and looks at me like he's starving to death. friend: You should just let him be. me: I can't. I have a compulsion to please him. Appalled, after finding a bloodied pile of fur on my porch:  Omg, Fin, what is this?! Baby, thank you for the gift, but… he slow-blinks, rubs himself against my leg, and there’s nothing I can do about it
