Hi 😊 I don‘t know if you take requests right now but it would be great to read a story line where Jo has Covid and Alex is really worried about her. Thank you so much 😊
First of all thank you so much for this request, it is my first one and it was really fun to write it. I'm so sorry that it took so long, but here it is finally. I changed it a little bit because I really have no experience with Covid, so it would have been hard to write it automatically. Hope you like it nevertheless.
Also thank you to @angry-slytherin for beta reading 💜
-
"You feeling better?" Alex askes his wife as they wait in line to get their temperature taken before work, like every time they have to do now, since the global pandemic hit Grey-Sloan too.
"Yes." She answers shortly, smiling under her mask, while she squeezes his hand that is intertwined with hers.
Before Alex can ask any further questions it's their turn. Alex goes first, getting his temperature checked and checked off, that he's clear to work. Jo's next and about to follow her husband when she gets called back by the nurse behind the table.
"Ahm doctor Karev? I'm sorry but I have to ask you to immediately go to the Covid tent and get yourself tested."
"What?" She asks confused; she's neither showing any symptoms nor feeling sick. Well except from this when she puked her guts out because they had crappy food last night, but other than that she felt fine to work.
But looks like she's not. Alex also immediately stops and turns back to his wife. Watching the scene before him, walking back closer, to hear the conversation between Jo and the nurse that resently took their temperature.
"Your temperature is 106 degrees. Above 100 degrees I have to send you to the Covid tent to get yourself tested before you can work. I'm very sorry but it's one of the new hospital laws." The nurse behind the table explains; her mask and face shield hiding her sorry smile.
"Well, alright. See you later then." Jo says, turning to Alex to kiss him through their masks. She's about to walk away when he, instead of taking the other way to the attendings room, follows her.
"What are you doing? Your temperature was fine. Go work." She complaines, as she makes her way to the Covid tent followed by Alex.
"You really think if you have it, I don't? We sleep in the freaking same bed and we definitely didn't stay six feet apart in the last time." He smirks, grabbing Jo's hand again as he holds the door open for her.
+
In the tent they got a number and had to wait until it's their turn. They got tested and are now waiting for their results.
"Alright, the Karevs." Doctor Bailey speaks as she walks towards them with their results. "Both of your tests have been negative. You can go to work." She declares as she hands them their test results.
"Negativ? Are you sure? Her temperature was 106." Alex askes, looking from Bailey to Jo, who also looks confused and paler by every minute.
"Are you question my testings here, Karev?" Bailey asks in her typical Bailey tone, propping her hands in her hips.
"No, but-"
"Then don't ask stupid questions and take your wife to the ER to get her blood tested." Without another word she's gone.
+
They do as Bailey told them. Alex takes Jo to the ER, insisting that she lays down on a gurney, while he draws her blood.
"Schmitt!" He shouts at the resident as soon as he walks by. "Are you going to the lab?" Alex asks pointing towards the bags and cups in the residents hands.
"Ahm yes." Schmitt answeres a little terrified by Alex tone.
"Take this and let them test it." He hands Schmitt the blood draw. "And tell them to do it fast. If they ask tell them it's for the chief."
With that the resident is out the door. Alex takes his seat beside Jo's gurney again. She's turned towards Alex, eyes closed. He hates seeing her like that. He knows that she's uncomfortable and feeling like shit.
"You're sure you're still ok?" He once again askes concerned, stroking her hair, as he pulls her slipped mask back over her nose with his other hand.
She answers with a head shake as she opens her eyes, looking up to him.
"I think I'm gonna puke in my mask any second." She answers, closing her eyes again to calm her nausea.
"We will never get take out from that place again." Alex mumbles, still stroking her hair as he leans back on his chair, waiting for Jo's test results in silence.
It's his fault. He should have got them the stupid pizza Jo had wanted, but no he had been way to tired last night after his shift and got them Chinese food from this crappy place in their street. Now he food poisoned his wife and has to watch her while she's feeling more and more crappy, in the middle of a pendemic. He really deserves the award for crappiest husband of the year.
"You should really work, instead of messing up my hair." Jo complains, not making a move, afraid to puke all over her husband if she just moves an inch to much.
"Shut up. I'm not going anywhere. You don't feel well and I doubt that you can get up from this gurney without anyone's help. Also just freaking tell me if I should stop stroking your hair." He answers, stopping his fingers in her hair.
"No don't stop. It helps with the headache." She contradicts.
"What? What headache? When did that start?" He askes immediately even more concerned than before. This is obviously not just food poisoning.
"Don't know, since the nausea subsided a little bit. I'm also a little dizzy."
"Parker!" Alex shouts from his chair towards the resident that is just cleaning up the bed next to them. "Get me an IV bag. Now!"
Two minutes later Parker's back and hooking Jo up to the IV bag. He just finishes as Schmitt rounds the corner with Jo's test results in his hand.
"Here doctor Karev." He hands the paper to Alex. "Ahm congratulations." With that he's gone, leaving Alex and Jo confused behind.
"What does he mean?" Jo asks, trying to sit up but immediately lying back down as a new wave of nausea washes over her. "What does it say?"
"-you're pregnant." Alex answers his wife's question, looking up from the paper with watery eyes.
"What?" She can't believe what she just heard.
"You are pregnant, Jo. 100% pregnant. Knocked up. Ten week pregnant with our baby."
They are both speechless. No one saying a word. They just stare at each other. Not completely getting that their life was just turned upside down within a second. They are going to be freaking parent in about seven months. They haven't really been trying for a baby. But it had been their new year's plan to start a family, they stopped using any kind of protection, but then the Corona virus hit the world and Grey-Sloan and they had other things to think about.
Well not anymore. Now they have a tiny human to think about.
Alex still can't wrap his head around the fact that he's gonna be a Dad soon. The tears in his eyes have found their way down his cheeks, mirroring the tears on his wife's cheeks.
They still just stare at each other until Jo reaches for his cheek and pulls Alex down in her arms. With his face buried in her hair he also wrapps his arms tight around his wife.
"Thank you." He mumbles in her neck, lifting his head to put his forehead on hers. "Thank you, for letting me knock you up." He repeats again. Pulling his mask down first, then pulling hers down to finally kiss her. Both of them are way to happy to care about the people around them, captured in their little bubble of joy. Until the determining voice of Bailey pops it.
"Karev! Karev! Masks back on! Now!"
They seperate with the biggest grins on their faces, putting their masks back over their mouths and noses.
"So if it's a boy I would say Covid and Corona if it's a girl?" He asks sitting back up on his chair, stroking his wife's hair again, looking at her like the smiliest idiot.
"Shut up!"

The Long Term Effects of the Corona Virus
Tumblr media
The long-term effects of the Covidvirus are becoming apparent. Those whom have been shielding are feeling vulnerable and afraid to go out into busy areas, especially now cases are rising again. Those whom have suffered from the virus, even those with mild attacks may have had recurring illnesses and post viral fatigue, with bronchial complications too. Strange symptoms such as tiredness persist and cough and breathing difficulties which may take months to heal, I know I have been weary for months, I have breathlessness and still have a persistent cough although they are improving. My brother is now suffering from clinical depression, as I'm sure many others are too, following the strict isolation for months. Plus of course the depression caused by losing one's family members and friends to the virus. This has happened to thousands of people both in this country and world-wide. The numbers dying in care-homes was phenomenal in the early stages; hopefully lessons will have been learned should there be a second wave this winter. Families will have been torn apart where members have been lost to the virus, plus children will have lost parents and grandparents. Of course the other cause of depression created by the virus is the financial havoc. The loss of jobs, thus the income they would have provided, and the fear and uncertainty. Despite the financial support the government has set up many have fallen through the cracks, not qualifying for the various schemes. This will inevitably cause a growth of homelessness.  If you cherished this information in addition to you would like to be given guidance relating to makkelijk thuis gebruiken generously check out our own website. These are not just statistics they are real people who have worked all their lives to provide for their families. Some will have built businesses and are fighting to keep them profitable. This distress is bound to end in suicide for many who cannot take the strain any longer. On a worldwide scale the financial crisis that could ensue is beyond anyone's thinking. Divorce rates are soaring as relationships that were a bit rocky have crumbled under the strain of lockdown and the financial hardship that is following. It is anticipated the numbers could grow four-fold over the coming months. Food-banks are struggling to cope with the ever-growing number of desperate people trying to feed their families. On a medical note waiting lists for cancer treatments and other medical issues are growing daily as the hospitals have been taken over by Covid patients. So what can we all do to help the spread of the virus and help prevent a second wave this winter? Take wearing masks seriously, hand washing and social distancing, abide by the rules and not behave selfishly as some are doing with raves and parties. The sooner we reduce the spread the sooner we can all benefit living the new norm. The isolation and loneliness of the last few months has been a nightmare for many especially those alone and shielding, and those missing their loved ones in hospital and unable to visit. Let us stay vigilant and follow the rules and recommendations it is in our own and everyone's interest.

Pandemic brings the ‘work from home’ lifestyle!
A pandemic is defined as the epidemic of a contagious disease that spreads worldwide and can cross all the boundaries. Today it has changed the lifestyle of millions of people as at first when it spread worldwide as Corona Virus, it was a compulsive decision taken by all the companies to get work done by staying at home, however now, it has become a great routine of our lifestyle that defines, work from home. With cases increasing day by day of Covid, it was essential to stay in and maintain social distancing, wearing masks and sanitizing taking care of home family and work-family.
It has been more than a year since India has seen its first phase of the Covid wave and that’s when the lockdown started giving companies the only option to get going is by work from home. The tables have taken a complete round, the pandemic that has spread in India has come along with its second wave, but now it has given the companies and its employees the best way to be making some fruitful decisions in the company’s future by staying and working from home.
“With time ‘work from home’ feels the best adaptation of staying close to all the essentials one needs to live with and for.”
Hard hit by pandemic on working lifestyle!
A few years ago, nobody had thought that there will come a disease that will stick people to their homes. Since the arrival of the Corona Virus, there hasn’t been anything good as an outcome of this pandemic, at first, many people had to lose their jobs or small businesses had to shut down, but as the people started adopting the new rules of living, it has become easier to get a perfectly balanced lifestyle. It was surely not easy at the start of the pandemic to decide on what directions life will go along. Staying apart from the work environment and still working every day was one of the toughest questions to deal with, as everything took time to settle down steadily, it was tough to adapt to the lifestyle of work from home with convenient timings according to home and offices. As life and work walk hand-in-hand, it has to be done in a specific way that will be easy-going for each person. From facing difficulties in getting work done to being comfortable in a work-from-home environment, there has been a ride in getting along.
Employee, Employer relations along with work from home.
The tough times couldn’t be easier if it weren’t perfectly balanced between the family and work. There had been millions of reasons before the pandemic to skip office to be with family or sometimes to escape family to go to work. Well, after being unable to go out to work there have been many good things that happened because of that, which can be counted as advantages for both the employees and the companies.
The spread of Corona has helped in cost-cutting and saving money, on average the ‘work from home’ system would allow companies to save money from the daily expenses and at least hiring 2-5 employees, whether freelance or on daily basis, all at a single time. The idea of opening literally anywhere will be advantageous as the companies don’t have to look for a suitable workspace and a workable environment. Next up is also be useful in making every employee countable in the matter of work as they won’t be needing a vacation to release the work stress and it will also supportive in reducing the sick leaves, in addition to that, if a person has symptoms of any illness, it won’t be affecting the other employees at the workplace. Work meetings can be enjoyable without getting interrupted by sleepy heads but by actually connecting over video calls according to everybody’s convenience that will strictly stick to the meeting agenda and can be summed up in less but effective minutes. Employees that are working from home got the chance to design their workspace according to their selves, which can give everyone a feel of owning a cabin and it can also help in stopping physical harassment or office politics if any.
Work from home is also beneficial as it saves the commuting time, whether if it is of going office from home or to any meeting place, it gives flexible working timings of logging in and completing the work timings accordingly. Work from home is actually effective as it avoids distractions like gossiping or meddling in other's personal space. The longer lunch breaks, extra tea breaks, some personal outings when went for a meeting and early bye are giving a stop since the start of work from home.
‘Work From Home’ to be continued…?
With keeping all the advantages and problems that have affected people and companies during this stage of pandemic and by being able to work from home, it won’t be all bad to state the ending as the idea or the system of ‘work from home’ is successful that has also given better results, a profitable graph for the companies and a win-win situation for the employees. It is good for the service sector but depends on the other sectors on how to take this working system productively. Employees working from home have more variety to explore new and better ideas for their work project, with desktop open and focused on one thing will also be a better side for less stress and more effective work. Work from home can be enhanced as a new phase work for those are an introvert or even for those companies who are related to the field of such service sectors where they can easily convert the working hours in the best deal of the day. Having literally everything need in-between work with just one hand reaches away won’t be a bad decision to be chosen under work from home.

Coronavirus Symptoms: Is Your Fatigue An Early Sign Of The Corona Virus?

Vicks VapoRub-Me (Trixya) - DenDenMonMon
Of Lovers, Friends and Everything in Between. Part 6.- Unwell
Title: Vicks VapoRub-Me Category: M/M Summary: Unfortunately, he has never eaten knives before, but he figures it would feel similar to this. Notes: Massive disclaimer, this is by far not my best work. I woke up one day feeling like absolute shit, so it felt appropriate that I portrayed exactly that, that’s why I decided to take on this prompt. Seriously felt like dying and couldn’t even function properly, so I kinda gave up on this; then Miss Corona decided to come visit and I didn’t really feel like writing a sickfic at the time. Anyways, it took me months to finish this simple one shot but here it is. I hope you enjoy! (because I still feel like dying). -Monkey Written: Feb 21st, 2020 - April 25th, 2020
Vicks VapoRub-Me
“I am so sorry, Pete,” he lets out before sniffing yet again. “You know I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t bad. I seriously feel like absolute shit.” He moves the phone away from his face as a sudden sneeze escapes him.
He catches the end of Pete’s sentence when he puts the device back to his ear. “…worry,” he assures. “I’ll let everybody know, and we’ll continue shooting on Monday, how does that sound? You just stay home and rest up, okay? Have you talked to Trixie?”
“Not since last night.”
“Okay, I’ll call her. Keep me posted. Hope you feel better.”
He pronounces some grunts of agreement before disconnecting the call.
He’d known something was wrong since the night before. He’d been out late, having ice cream with Amy. The air had been cold, but it felt good against his constantly overheated skin. They’d walked back to his apartment without rushing, enjoying the cool California weather.
As soon as his head hit the pillow later that night, he found himself regretting that little stroll. His nose was stuffy and he had trouble swallowing. He’d sent his complaints to Trixie through text messages, but had also stated how his body was always on his side and he hadn’t gotten a cold in ages. The itchiness in his throat had kept him awake, but Trixie, who wasn’t suffering the symptoms, had fallen asleep mid-conversation.
He grabs his phone, with the sole intention of letting Trixie know about the development of his state. The string of blue bubbles is overwhelming. A countdown of how many hours of sleep he would’ve gotten, if he fell asleep right then, had been sent every hour.
He closes the conversation and throws the phone on the empty space next to him.
Maybe if he showers, he will get to feel better. Cleanse his body of all toxins, or whatever. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Until he throws the covers away, that is. The temperature of the room is colder than he had expected, or maybe he’s running a fever, because the chilled air makes his skin tingle as soon as it touches it. With a deep sigh he turns around, grabs the covers and turns himself into a blanket burrito again. It’s time to take a nap, put his body into low power mode and let it fight whatever it is that’s making him sick.
He sleeps for an hour, or three, or six, he doesn’t know; but he’s suddenly awakened by the doorbell sounding incesibly.
“Jesus. Go away!” He screams into his pillow, sinking deeper into the mattress. The person doesn’t do as they are told, and the bell is heard again. “This better be a major fucking emergency.”
This time he doesn’t make the same mistake as before. He grabs the blanket at the top of the pile and wraps it around his shoulders. Still mumbling curse words is that he reaches the door. He opens it without asking who is on the other side, but is ready to give them a piece of his mind for waking him up. The concerned features disarm him on the spot.
“Oh, my God, Katya. Are you okay? You look horrible!”
“Well, good morning to you too, you fucking bitch,” he pretends to be offended as much as he can, but his body is still not responding properly.
Trixie makes his own way past Katya, carrying several plastic bags in each hand. “Good morning? Girl, it’s almost four in the afternoon. I’ve been calling and texting you. When the messages didn’t show delivered I got worried, then the calls were not connecting. I decided to come see you.”
Katya looks around, as if the device would magically appear somewhere around the living room. “I don’t know where my phone is. It’s probably dead somewhere.”
After dropping everything on the coffee table, Trixie walks back to Katya, who hasn’t moved from his spot next to the door. “I brought you some food. Pete told me you were not feeling well, but this seems, like, super serious.” He grabs Katya by the hands and basically drags him to sit on the couch. “How are you feeling?”
“Well, you-you…” A sneeze interrupts his speech. Trixie reaches inside a bag and takes out a box of tissues before a second sneeze escapes Katya. “Thank you. Now, look away, this is not going to be pretty.”
Trixie laughs but does nothing to divert his eyes as Katya blows his nose. He even offers his hand for Katya to place the used tissue. Katya simply makes a face of disgust and puts it on the table in front of them.
“So, is it like a cold,” Trixie inquires. “Or what is it that you are feeling?”
“You know, it’s so weird. Whenever I move, it feels as if part of my body moved and then it took a second for, like, my other half to catch up. I don’t know how to explain it.”
He doesn’t have to, before he even finishes his sentence, Trixie is already nodding. “Those body aches are signs of a fever. Hold on.” Once again, Trixie starts going through the bags in front of him. “I didn’t know what you had so I stopped by the pharmacy and bought a bunch of shit. I know the lady sold me a thermometer.”
“Is it rectal, mother?” Katya asks in a watered down version of Maureen’s voice.
“Oh, my God,” Trixie says between giggles, finally finding the thin tube. “Glad to know the cold hasn’t affected your sluttiness. Now open.”
Katya does as he’s told, parting his lips as Trixie puts the instrument under his tongue.
“According to this thing, we need to wait a minute and a half,” Trixie informs him as he puts the instructions aside. “Okay, now, hear me out.” He starts speaking more to himself, to fill the silence around them, as he takes his purchases out of the bags. “I went to the drug store to get you, like, cough drops or something for the flu, you know, just in case. When I was there I remembered what happened to my uncle Steve, you remember him, right?”
With the glass tube still in his mouth, Katya shakes his head.
“Yeah, you do. He went to rehab. I’ve talked about him several times. Anyways, when he came out of rehab he had this thing for, like, NyQuil and stuff. He couldn’t even see cough syrup cause it was, I don’t know, triggering, I guess.”
Katya can’t help but smile. The way Trixie speaks with his hands, as much as he does with his mouth, will always be fascinating. He mumbles something unintelligible around the thermometer, then tries to muffle a laugh.
“Shut up! It’s not gonna work if you are talking!” Trixie warns, waving a finger in front of him. “As I was saying. I called Valentina. She’s always bragging about how Mexicans are the best at home remedies, and she gave me some useful tips. That’s why I brought you chicken broth, ‘cause apparently soup only works in movies. She told me to get a shit ton of Vicks VapoRub, and that you should put it on your chest and the sole of your feet. Now, she mentioned something about wrapping your feet with newspaper, but I guess a pair of socks…”
The rest of his rambling gets immediately lost to Katya’s ears. Maybe it’s the fever, or maybe it’s the lack of sleep, but Katya has never felt more loved or taken care of in his life. His eyes water as they analyze the intensity with which Trixie is speaking. He is so worried. He’s dropped everything to be there for Katya; went out of his way to not only buy him drugs for his sickness, he took in consideration Katya’s sobriarity.
Almost without thinking about it, Katya leans forward and drops his head on Trixie’s shoulder. That’s enough to stop the rambling. Trixie’s hand goes up and caresses Katya’s unshaven cheek. The room is completely silent, their breathing synchronizes after a few seconds and soon that’s the only sound filling the air around them. It’s comfortable, it feels like home.
Suddenly, Katya doesn’t feel so sick anymore, his body doesn’t ache as much, his lungs are pulling oxygen in again.
“Let me take a look at that,” Trixie says quietly, not really wanting to interrupt the moment but needing to check the thermometer. He removes it from Katya’s mouth, and puts it up against the light, that’s when he realizes. “I don’t know how to read this thing! Don’t they sell like electronic ones? Shouldn’t this thing say something like: yes, you are hot, or no, you ain’t dying, bitch, you ain’t that special?”
Katya takes the thermometer in his hands, doing his best to breathe as he laughs and coughs at the same time. “It’s ninety… ninety-nine and a half, maybe? That’s not bad. Fever, I believe, starts at, like, a hundred. Anything higher than that is, like, really dying.”
He says it as a joke, as a way to light up the mood, but Trixie’s face turns somber. “Ninety-nine and a half is basically a hundred. So you do have a fever, don’t you dare die on me, you idiot.”
“I’m fine. I do feel like taking a shower, though. That can bring down my temperature, plus, I’ve been sweating a lot.”
Trixie nods his head. “Okay, you go do that, I will heat up the food. You think you can eat?”
Already standing up, Katya agrees. “Yeah. Warm soup would feel nice down my throat. I have never eaten knives before… unfortunately… but it feels like that’s the only thing I’ve been eating.”
“You know what else could feel nice down your throat?” Trixie tries to joke, but laughter makes it hard for him to even finish the sentence.
Katya stops cold on his tracks, turns around and points a finger at him. “Hey, if you are not planning on putting your huge ding-dong in my mouth, don’t you joke about that.”
Lifting his hands in surrender, Trixie walks away, occupying himself in the task of heating up the food for his sick friend.
The shower is quick, Katya doesn’t feel like standing under the spray of freezing water, or at least that’s how it feels against his hot skin. The drops leave a tingling feeling as they travel down his body, hopefully taking germs and viruses away with it. When he enters his bedroom, it feels as if his heart has dropped to his feet as well. The lights are off, all but the lamp on the bedside table. Trixie walks in with a tray in hand. There’s a bowl that probably has the broth in it, a glass filled with juice, another one with water, and some containers that surely hold medicine in them to make him feel better.
“Get in the bed,” Trixie commands, pushing his chin towards the unmade covers.
Katya doesn’t even question it, he unties the wet towel and throws it on a chair. The sheets feel cool as he places them around his lower half. Just when he’s feeling himself relax, he’s startled by Trixie’s hand on his chest.
“Don’t you ever touch me,” Katya says more out of reflex, doing absolutely nothing to remove Trixie’s fingers from his skin.
With a small eye roll, Trixie continues on his task. “Shut up, you big baby. I need to put this VapoRub on your chest to, I don’t know, open up your lungs or something like that.”
That’s when he sees it. Trixie sees the corners of Katya’s mouth slowly curling into a smile he knows very well. It is a very telling smile. Katya knows his thoughts are not socially accepted, yet he will proudly express them. As soon as the blindingly white teeth are in full display, Trixie lets out a sigh as he dramatically drops his shoulders.
“What-what now?”
With lifted eyebrows, Katya uses his eyes to make Trixie look down, towards his bottom half. The sheets are slightly lifted and Katya laughs as soon as the ‘oh, wow’ is pronounced, indicating Trixie understands what’s going on.
“Bitch, I’m literally putting medicine on your chest. This can’t possibly be turning you on.”
“No, no, no,” Katya quickly corrects him. “Getting a boner is not an equivalent of getting turned on. It’s just a physical reaction to human touch.”
Trixie sits on the edge of the bed, ignoring the response of Katya’s body, and carries on with the task. “When were you last touched by a human?” He asks with a twist of his lips, trying to make it sound sarcastic, and expecting Katya to bring up a weird story of how he was last touched by a demon or something of the short.
None of that happens.
Katya looks away, almost ashamed. Almost. Shame is not part of his vocabulary. Yet, there is no other word that could describe the somber air taking over his features. There is a sigh before he looks back at Trixie. Something immediately changes. His eyes are a shade darker than usual, they look straight into Trixie’s soul, and he can’t take it. He has to look down, to the container of medicine still in his hands.
“Hey,” Katya speaks, softly, almost in a whisper. Trixie nods, acknowledging he’s heard him, but still not able to look up. “Thank you,” Katya finishes. The tone of his voice is deep, laced with something that Trixie doesn’t dare to figure out.
He shrugs a shoulder. “No problem,” Trixie assures Katya, toying with the blue jar. He doesn’t elaborate, he wants to make the weird cloud above them go away. He presses two fingers into the scented gel before running it against Katya’s skin.
Trixie tries to concentrate on applying the medicine into Katya’s chest evenly. His hand travels from one pec to the other slowly. His fingers make sure to lightly touch one of the bugs, permanently drawn on Katya’s shoulder, before making his way to the one. He does his best to ignore the deep stare of his friend burning the top of his head, he doesn’t pay attention to the uneven raising and falling of the chest he’s touching. He really wants to, he is really trying. It’s useless.
Soon, he finds himself licking his lips, he feels the throbbing in his pants, he loses control of his hand. Without even thinking about it, he takes more medication but his fingers land on Katya’s stomach this time. His fingertips trace the toned abs, his nails scratching slightly. He goes lower and lower until his hand disappears inside the covers.
It burns. It really burns. When the ointment reaches the delicate skin, Katya closes his eyes. He wants to open them, he wants to see Trixie’s hand going up and down on him. He wants to have a good look at Trixie’s face as he pumps him; but he’s too weak. His mind is fogged with fever and lust. He is struggling to pull air in when his lungs are still not fully working. All he knows is that Trixie’s soft touch is taking care of the throbbing of his lower half, just as he has been taking care of his sickness for the last hour or so.
He has to do something, as a thank you. He blindly pats down the mattress, finds Trixie’s legs, and the bulge between them right after. Slowly, he opens his eyes, just to find Trixie’s stare.
“Brian,” Trixie whispers, no other word is pronounced but all motion stops. “I’m sorry,” he says, releasing him with a heavy exhale. “I shouldn’t have done that. You are sick, you are not feeling well.”
“So what?” Katya sounds almost angry. “It’s not like we are kissing. Surely a cold is not dick-to-hand contagious.”
Trixie stands up, maybe some physical distance could work in their favor. “That’s not what I meant, bitch. I just… I don’t know. It feels like I’m taking advantage of you.”
Katya sits up, making sure the covers don’t fall and add awkwardness by revealing his erection. “Hey, listen. Nobody is taking advantage of anybody. If anything, I’m taking advantage of your good heart to fuck you. You have been such an amazing friend and, honestly, the only way I know how to communicate is sexually. I kinda sensed this was where things were going. I’m sorry. I know you have made it perfectly clear, right from the start, that it couldn’t happen. I need to respect that.”
Folding his arms across his chest, Trixie taps his foot softly against the floor. “What if…” he trails off, his eyes avoiding Katya again. “What if I want something to happen?”
“You do?” Katya doesn’t do anything to hide the excitement in his voice.
Trixie nods. “I do. But not like this, though.”
“Oh, no! God! Not like this,” Katya agrees.
A small smile creeps into Trixie’s lips, before he goes around the bed and climbs next to Katya. “Why don’t we wait until you feel better and revisit the subject?”
Katya lays back down and faces him with a giant grin on his face. “I feel better already.”

Five states record sharp rise in daily Covid-19 cases: Health Ministry
Five states record sharp rise in daily Covid-19 cases: Health Ministry
Five states — Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Gujarat — have registered a sharp rise in daily COVID-19 cases, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday as India recorded 59,118 new infections, the highest single-day rise so far this year. After touching its lowest mark in mid-February, India’s active COVID-19 caseload is on a steady rise and has breached the 4-lakh mark again…

Sorry I’ve been mostly gone for the last few months. 2020 particularly has been a wild year for me personally.
My story actually started back in September when I applied for the JET program for the 4th consecutive year, as that in itself took up a significant amount of my time and attention.
I got rejected once again.
About two weeks prior to the rejection, I applied for a new job in Washington state. I got a referral from a close friend of mine. Got accepted for that job in less than 24 hours, but I was still waiting for the JET interview results (and the timeframe between acceptance and the first day of work was undoable to me as a broke New Yorker going to MAGFest on a shoestring budget
I had to take some mad commissions for that. To this day, some of those commissions are incomplete still
Two weeks after my 4th JET program rejection and the wave of depression and anger that followed, I got another call from the Washington job asking to come in 7 weeks later.  I took the offer. Back at this time, people and governments were still slapfighting over whether to take a certain viral situation seriously or not.
Around the time I got that second call, I had a meltdown at work when the server died and more was expected of me handling it than I was able to do.
I had 7 weeks to find an apartment, downsize my belongings and find a way to get me, Kirby (my fish) and a tiny percentage of my belongings on a minimal budget.  In doing so, I had to reach out to friends in private to avoid my former employer snooping around my social media.
I send in my 2-weeks notice and while I’m thankful I wasn’t fired right there for doing that, extra demanding work tasks were piled on me while I was preparing the move. Like having to teach computer-unsavvy people how to do my job and writing instructions on how to do these things; 99.99999% computer-related. I used up my vacation days to take days when i felt another meltdown coming and my former employer used that against me when they wanted me to make business cards with photographs for all staff members- something that would take several weeks when I only had four days left at work.
On top of everything, I’ve gotten a cold four times between November 2019 and March 2020 because the apartment’s heater broke down, the landlord would just keep smacking it to make it work temporarily, and my room wasn’t properly insulated so I froze all winter like I was sleeping out in the street.
So when I finally made it to Washington, I was a mess. Nasty cold, weakness, fatigue, everytime I tried to sleep, I had vertigo.
And $2700 in credit card debt from the move. My plane ticket was $150, but my [oversize/overweight] baggage fees were $400, delivery of my books and artist alley materials was another $150, setting up a new fish tank from scratch was almost $300 (not including parts that my friend had gifted him), and then some.  I basically moved out here with my computers, 1/3rd of my video game collection (the rest were donated/sold), art supplies, Kirby, some rare/recent collecibles, and a week’s worth of clothing. Everything else had to be purchased after the move. Furniture, food, kitchenware, linens, etc.
A lot of items were donated from friends. I am beyond thankful to them!
And yes, Kirby came with me on a plane. You had to see the eyes bulging out of every TSA officer that saw me yoink a bag of live fish out of my carry-on, but I had a printout from the TSA website that indeed said that live fish are allowed through security checkpoint as long as they are in a sealed container.
yep.
Kirby also got sick. He had anxiety from the move and the new tank settings. We got him a cave to hide him, but it had a really rough surface and he injured himself bumping into it a few times. Cave was since removed.
So then I started my new job a week later.  Four days into the new job, the office decided to close before corona could be a problem. I’ve been working from home ever since. The training was chill physical energy-wise, but very intense and full of information I had to retain. Also, this is my first customer service job, so I was super anxious the whole way. 2.5 months of training it was,
By the end of March, I had all the symptoms that Corona was known for. Nothing was severe, and I had no vehicle to go see a doctor (I made a dumb mistake and moved to a hilly suburb because the rent was cheap). It could have been corona, it could have been a venn diagram of my cold phasing out overlapping with anemia and anxiety, I guess we’ll never know. I found ways to get by while still working from home.
Kirby was also choking on his own air bubbles for March and April. I wasn’t able to get any info on why that would be. He is doing fine now.
Training is over now. I finally started seeking medical help last week because I’m still dealing with chest pain, fatigue, and shortness of breath which I was told could be anemia (worse than I’ve ever had it before).  I’m still anxious because I’m on customer phone service full time now, but while it has a lot of challenges and I do get tired in the end (which could be anemic fatigue still), I’m a LOT less stressed out than I was at my old job.  The pay isn’t much higher, but I’ve been able to live a much better life here. Got usable health benefits now and while the food is more expensive out here, you get a LOT more food for all those dollars spent. Also, since I’ve been too fatigued to cook much of the time (and I have a shitty electric stove that takes 45+ minutes to boil a pot of water), I can have healthy restaurant meals delivered via uber eats. Most of the restaurants in my service area serve REALLY TASTELESS FOOD, but some restaurants serve enough in one order to make for 2-3 meals.
but anyway. That’s what’s been going on now. Financial situation has improved greatly since I started getting paychecks out here. medical investigation is ongoing. I just need my energy back to start making regular art content again.
I have played Animal Crossing since the game came out. I will share the artwork I’ve managed to do soon, including some plague knight and mona/animal crossing crossover stuff such as the pic you see above.
Stay tuned and thanks for your patience.

I’m doing a comparison data between the Spanish Flu 1918 and the covid pandemic, to factor the probable end and casualties for the months to come. The CDC is reviewing the historical significance of the Spanish Flu 1918, because we can easily follow weather and behavioral trends in human behavior, but today there are advances in technology, hygienics, widely available disinfectants, information and updates, among other resources such as past trends in pathogen spread.
Other factors contributing today are human behavior, disinformation (the earth is flat people and anti-vaxx movements), the division of a nation, and  trump is a super spreader event.
Here’s a link to some of the resources I’m currently viewing, and I slip through the tabs to locate additional links with credible information. The CDC.gov is a resource with accurate historic documents.
There is additional information I review, that isn’t listed - it’s context specific, given to American updates in modern home technology. Along with the method of infection caused by corona virus, and a clear lack of basic biological comprehension the majority of Americans hold in regard to the sars-covid virus. This graph
Tumblr media
sourced
shows the timeline from June 1918 all the way to April of 1919. It reveals the distinct three waves of the Spanish Flu, and gives us the hardest months for the flu spread was in the area of October to November 16 - this indicates many things. The hypothesis I go with, is that the population susceptible to infection, contracted the Spanish Flu and began dying off. Once the vulnerable population passed, the numbers of deaths (as indicated by the Y-axis) decreased. How uplifting!
Another probable assessment of the Spanish Flu, is that the expansive masses of those that contracted the flu, served as example of what would happen to others of the population, and fear made citizens more cautious and less likely to mingle in public. There were mask mandates and social distancing orders set into place, the same as our current covid pandemic. In the following March of 1919, people let their guard down, likely due to warm weather and fatigue from restrictions, and that is where we see our last spike of cases. All in all, the Spanish Flu endured for 2 years. The Spanish Flu was attributed to 650,000 deaths, of that time.
An important, and the most essential piece of data from this timeline, is the factual and reliant detail that once someone has recovered from the Spanish Flu, or other flu pathogen, there is an assured period of immunity - 1 year. This is essential, due to the graph riding on those immunity communities. It guarantees that those who might come into close contact with those infected, will not become contagious once more, or carry the virus to others. This is an excellent exponential factor, due in fact to the more health citizens recovering and carrying the antibodies for Spanish Flu, the amount of masses without first contact with the virus, will not become infected. That’s the science.
However, in the case of our current corona virus and what we have learned, is that reinfection is plausible with 4 or 5 months. Relapse is probable in those that do not produce adequate antibodies. And that a prospected third of those who recover from covid, do become long-haulers and are at higher risk of reinfection.
This is the detrimental aspect of the corona virus, the mistake that it is exactly like “a cold” or “the flu”, due to the fact it is absolutely not. It is better classified as a blood pathogen, one that is airborne - the primary food of covid cells, is the hemoglobin in red blood cells. The prospect that it destroys hemoglobin in healthy red blood cells, retracts the capacity of red blood cells to carry oxygen, which in turn prevents capillaries and major arteries from oxygenating fully, and this caused a chain reaction of cellular death. Due to blood being our most crucial tissue, this causes the systemic symptoms people experience in any organ of the body; keenly, those rich in iron or red blood cell, and circulation.
All of these factors, contribute to this nightmare of a pathogen which is rampaging out of control, and has bumped up the recovery of our population, and the proposed extermination of this virus, to a prospected 5 years. Our American population is primed for reinfection, and many are indeed mildly infected by the sars-covid virus upon first encounter, but the likely chance of a second infection, before a year has elapsed, is damning to many of the population who live in the delusion that they have secured immunity from a first time, ‘mild’ infection. By the pattern I am reviewing, it doesn’t work that way.
The mantra I go by “if you test positive but seem fine, is not true”. Along with “asymptomatic carriers are a myth”, are coming to light in the scientific community. This pathogen primarily infects any organ rich in red blood cells, and quietly diminishes the health of the former “healthy and active” candidate, eroding once healthy tissue, until a cytokine storm occurs when the immune system response realizes that the body of the infected candidate, is in fact infected by an illusive virus. What follows is a sever autoimmune response, which throws people into the ICU.
These prospects I speculate upon are likely considering by the scientific community, all of whom are dealing directly with covid patients. We will not know more until the passage of time, and many more have perished to this virus. But dismissing the sars-covid virus as a basic bitch flu, and “it’ll go away eventually” has been detrimental to its control and reduction. This is not a virus compelled by a lifecycle with a predestined sequence of definite movement through an isolated population - it is an enduring, thriving, successful virus - which demands aggressive actions to maintain eventual control.
Saying that we “live with the flu and never shut down the economy” is horrendously irresponsible. Due to the fact reinfection, and further severe reactions to this virus building over time, is the most likely prospect in our given scenario. Herd immunity is not possible, because this virus recycles its food source. The people in our community that republicans are so adamant about culling out, they won’t take the pathogen with them. Sars-covid will stay alive and well in those that dismiss it, underestimate it, and willingly become vessels to its grasp. With this virus being a silent killer, it is only a matter of time before it returns to those who are smug that they had it and have said it wasn’t so bad.gp

➝ Transcript The Covid-Plan / Rockefeller Lockstep 2010 — Full Text of Permanent World Lockdown Plot
And that is yourNew World Order: technology on steroids where you have no option but to comply. And if anyone thinks that this isn’t true, then go and check out some parts of Chinabecause they’ve already started some of the cryptocurrencies system in place in certain areas. So,this is the outline of their plan. And what we have to stop by outing itin as many places as possible. And also calling out Q and Trump and asking them: Are you going to stop this?Mass arrests are irrelevant. This is essential and this has to be blocked. They hypothesizea simulated global outbreakrequiredsteps, variousphases, overalltimelines, and expected outcomes. This was posited in the Rockefeller Lockstep 2010: ➝ Create a very contagious but super low mortality rate virus to fit theneededplan. Using SARS, HIV, Hybrid Research Strain created at Fort DietrichClass 4 lab from 2008 to 2013 as part of a research project to find out why corona viruses spread like wildfire inbatsbut have an extremely hard time infecting humans. To counteract that, they added 4 HIVinserts into the virus. Themissing key to infect the human is the Ace-2-Receptor. ➝ Create a weaponized version of the virus with a much higher mortality rate as a backup plan. Ready to be released in Phase 3,but only if needed. SARS, HIV, MERS, Weaponized Tribit Strain created at Fort Dietrich Class 4lab in 2015. ➝ Transport the Research Strain to different Class 4 lab,the National Microbiology Lab in Winnipeg Canada, and have it “stolen and smuggled out by China”,Xi Jang Lee,on purpose and taken to China’s only Class 4 lab which is Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan China. For added plausible deniabilityand to help cement thewanted backup public script as something to fall back on if needed. The primary script being its natural.Backup script being that China created it and released it by accident. ➝ Fund all the talking heads:Fauci, Birx, Tedrosand agencies, World Health Organization, NIAID, the CDC and also the UN,that would be involved with pandemic response prior to the planned release of the Research Strain to control the wanted script throughout the operation. ➝ Create and fund the vaccination development and roll out plan so it’s capable of being rolled out on a global scale.Gates: ADecade of Vaccines and the Global Action Vaccine action plan, 2010to 2020. ➝ Create and fund the vaccination, verification and certificationprotocols, Digital ID,to enforce/confirm the vaccination program after the mandatory roll out is enacted.Gates:ID2020. ➝ Simulate the lockstephypothesisjust prior to the planned Research Strain release using a real-world exercise as a final war game to determine expected response, timelines, and outcomes, Event 201in Oct 2019. ➝ Release the Research Strain at the Wuhan Instituteof Virology itselfand then blame its release on a natural scapegoatas thewanted primary script.Wuhan wet market, Nov 2019. Exactly the same as the simulation. ➝ Downplay the human-to-human transmission for as long as possible to allow the Research Strain to spread on a global scale before any country can lock downrespondto avoid initial infection. ➝ Once a countryhas seen infection in place, lock downincoming/outgoing travel. Keep the transmission within the country spreading for as long as possible. ➝ Once enough peoplein a country/ regionare infected, enact forced quarantines/isolation for that area and expandthe lockdown regions slowly over time•Overhype the mortality rate by tying the Research Strain todeaths that have little to nothing to do with the actual virus to keep the fear and compliance at a maximum. ➝ If anyone dies for any reason and is foundto have Covid, consider it a Covid death. And if anyone is thought to of maybe had symptoms of Covid, assume they have Covid, and consider it as a Covid death. ➝ Keep the public quarantines for as long as possible to destroy the region’s economy, create civil unrest, break down the supply chain, and cause the start of mass food shortages. As well as cause people’s immune system to weaken due to a lack of interaction with other people’s bacteria, the outside world, akathe things that keep our immune systems alert and active. ➝ Downplay and attack any potential treatments and continue to echothat the only cure that is viable to fight this virus is the vaccine. ➝ Continue to drag out the quarantine over and over again in “two-week intervals”[There is that two weeksspellcastingagain. It is a CIA program.] causingmore and more people toeventuallystand up and protest. Defy them. ➝ [And here is the key part to now:] Eventually end Phase 1quarantine once they get enough public push back, expected June 2020, and publicly state that they think it’s “too early to end the isolation, but I’m going to do it anyways.” ➝ Once the public go back to normal, wait a few weeks and continue to overhype the Research Strain mortality rate, Aug to Sept 2020, and combine it with the increase in deaths due to people dying fromstandard illnessesat a higher rate than normal due to having highly weakened immune systems from months of being in isolation [Which backs up what I said:you should social-distance peoplewho wear masks regular. That’s what they’vejust told you.Theyhave highly weakened immune systems.] to help further pad the mortality rate and also hype theup and coming Phase 2 lockdown. ➝ Eventually, enact Phase 2quarantines,Oct throughNov 2020, on an even more extreme level and blame the protesters, mostly people who don’t trust their governments already,as the cause of the largest second wave whereby themedia will say‘we told you so.It was too early. It’s all your own fault because you neededa haircut. Your freedoms have consequences.’ [Should this all unfold in this manner, the US election will be cancelleddelayed or suspended. My opinion. How can you vote with Phase 2 quarantines? You can’t.] ➝ Enforce the Phase 2 quarantines at a much more extremelevelincreasing the penalty for defiance. Replace fines with jail time.  Deem all travel as non-essential.Increase checkpoints, including military assistance. Increase tracking/tracing after populationvia mandatory app. Take over control offood, gas, and create large scale shortages so that people can only get access to essential products or services if they are first given permission. ➝ Keep the Phase 2 lockdown in place for amuch longer period of time than the Phase 1 lockdown, continuingto destroy the global economy.Further degrade the supply chain and further amplify the food shortages and the like.Quell any public outrage using extreme actions or forceand make anyone who defies them appear as public enemy #1 to those who are willing to submit. ➝ After a rather long Phase 2 lockdown of 6 months plus, roll out the vaccination program and the vaccine certification and make it mandatory for everyone, giving priority access to those that submitted from the startand have those that are for itattack those that are against it, saying ‘they are a threat and the cause of all the problems’by using words like “We can’t go back to normal until everyone takes the vaccine.” And people defying them are “hurting our way of lifeand therefore are the enemy.”[In other words they are going to turn the people against each other.] ➝ If the majority of people go along with the agenda, then let those people enter the new system, the new normal, while limiting the minority that defied the agenda’s ability to work, travel and live. ➝ If the majority of people go against the agenda, then release the Weaponized SARS/HIV/MERS Tribit Strainas a Phase 3 operation.  A virus with a 30+% mortality rateas a final scare to punish the minority to quickly become the majority and give a final “We told you so” to those that didn’t listen. ➝ Enact the new economy model. Microsoft patent060606 crypto currency systemusing body activity datawhich is based on human behavior and willingness to submit. It is a tweakedversionof the black mirrors 15 million merits programusing food, water, shelter, and other essentials as a weapon of enforcement of the new economic system.Basically,do what we want and get rewarded. Gain credits score and gain more access to things you need to survive.Or go against what we want and get penalized. Lose credits score and lose access to things you need to survive. #Truth #Governance #PsyOps #Enslavement
