I want a fic where Jace is a genius who graduated from school ahead of his age mates and when Luke eventually graduates high-school he moves in with his older brother(also significant other, but Rhaenyra would prefer it if her sons kept it on the downlow until Luke has settled into college and has a clear path of what he wants to study because her dear boy is so indecisive, except for when it comes to Jace then he's the most sure of his choices) and both want to get a pet but can't decide between a cat or a dog.

In the end, they adopt both a cat and a dog because they remind them both of each other, the dog is a German shepherd with anger issues(Vermax) and a cat that seems shy but is devious(Arrax). Two months later, Rhaenyra's PR team leaked a picture of Jace and Luke with matching engagement rings being hugged by a smiling and crying Rhaenyra and Laenor.

I wanted to make a request to the only link between the blacks and the greens (I know Viserys occupies this spot, but in this case, it will be two people) Rhaenyra's daughter, perhaps Luke's twin. The greens adore her, she has created an incredible bond with Alicent (incredible as it may seem) she is like a mother figure, and both have become very attached to each other, and not only them, both sides of the story love her (so it would be a request yandere!black and green). As I said, she would be the strong link between them, when it comes to her, EVERYONE sits at a table without fights and violence in order to talk about her well-being.

Perhaps, at a party (or dinner, where everyone is present, black and green — if you can place Laennor...) and the reader is pestered by a man, he is flirting valiantly with her and even though she is denying all his advances , he doesn't stop. The family has very different reactions.

hiii, i have seen lot of ideas where the dance never happens like rhaenyra having a succesful reign, happy marriage life for jace-baela/ luke-rhaena. i think it would be funny if viserys run away to lys in a saera style for the drama, well my point is i like your au's so i wanted to know if you have headcanons for team black where the dance of the dragons never happened

There are many scenarios I could think of, actually...

And it depends how you want to see it because there are things that if erased creates more advantages and new situations, but could still stop the war.

1. Alicent accepts Rhaenyra's proposal of betrothing Jace and Helaena.

And Baela is betrothed to a Velaryon cousin (not a son of Vaemond due his infamy of wanting to take Driftmark from Corlys and his line), like a grandson of Malentine Velaryon (Maelor Velaryon; it's most likely Maelor is a Velaryon name) to support the claim of Lucerys and back him

With Helaena becoming Queen consort she gives legitimacy to Jace's reign as well as Alicent getting her daughter as Queen consort, and with Baela being a backbone with the Velaryons then Luke will receive support as the Lord of Driftmark with Rhaena as Lucerys' wife as well; Jace's children could marry Baela's children and Joffrey as well marries one of the daughters of Baela to further legitimize his line.

Baela would be a lady-in-waiting for Helaena, and together they would arrange the betrothal of their children.

2. Jace marries Baela (now Daemon sees his daughter as Queen), Lucerys still marries Rhaena, and the children of Luke and Rhaena marry the children of Joff.

Now, in all of the scenarios present Aegon III would marry Daenaera as an alliance (they would always marry each other), and Viserys II would marry his niece Daena <<Daena deserved to become The Queen and be the mother of Daeron II and Daenerys, and of the whole dynasty>> to unite their bloodlines; and if baby Visenya survives, then Viserys would marry her (the original plan of Martin), and their son would marry their niece Daena to once again unite the bloodline with Daena being Queen and having her uncle and aunt as Hand and counselors.

3. Other possible scenario but this time after Rhaenyra: Aegon the Younger calls for a High Council once Rhaenyra dies peacefully, and he is chosen as king as the oldest legitimate son of Rhaenyra (Jace would no longer have the protection of Rhaenyra), Baela gets to Maelor Velaryon, and she becomes the Lady of Driftmark as a consort (we know Corlys would never choose her, but he could choose a great-great-nephew he liked), while Rhaena marries Corwyn Corbray, and Viserys would still marry either Visenya or Daena; but even then Aegon III would have mercy and spare the lives of Jace, Luke and Joffrey, and they would be married off to minor ladies.

Honestly, in the second and third scenarios I have to admit I think Aegon would eventually reach for the Throne because legitimately it is his.

Anyways, Rhaena's children would marry Baela's children, and Rhaena and Baela would be councilors to both Aegon III and Viserys II Targaryen.

I think it would be nice to see Daena or Visenya matching Viserys' fire and having a partner who is an equal and loves and supports him since he would be spared being a hostage of three different Lyseni families that threatened him and also would spare Westeros of the Rogare family, Aegon the Unworthy and the Blackfyre Rebellions.

Either way any of these relationships would mirror that of Baelon and Alyssa or Daemon and Rhaenyra.

But beyond that, Baela would be happy to become Lady of Driftmark, this time in a happy marriage, and would have a husband devoted to her; she would name her first daughter in honor of her mother and first son in honor of her grandfather Corlys; and Laena would be the grandmother of Aelinor Penrose through a daughter of hers (HC: Coryssa Velaryon) who married into House Penrose.

Rhaena would be free of the pressure of providing an heir quickly and therefore her first baby would be born, and would be able to use her dragon to quell the protestors against Joffrey Arryn (the heir of Jeyne Arryn) and Corwyn would live.

Baela would always introduce Daenaera to Aegon III, and Rhaena would take Viserys II on travels to Dragonstone and the whole realm.

Once Viserys II comes back, (if Visenya is not alive) Daena would meet him and they would fall in love and marry.

Baela's favorite niece would be Daena, followed by the daughters of her sister Rhaena, whereas Rhaena's favorite niece would be her little namesake.

Without the trauma of Larra Rogare and the need to overcompensate due to their involvement, Viserys II would see the practicality in sending Baelor to a Sept and therefore there would be no Maidenvault, and no threat of a religious war with the Stepstones, the Iron Isles and the North, as well as no disbalance of taxes going to the High Septons.

Rhaenyra and Daemon would be able to meet their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and if Rhaenyra's daughter survives, Rhaenyra would have loved spoiling her little princess.

If Baela and Rhaena's full younger brother survives as well, this little boy called Aemon in honor of his great-grandfather, would be completely loyal to his half-brothers Aegon the Younger and Viserys, he would have a keep of his own in the Crownlands given by Rhaenyra so he doesn't compete against the Strong boys

But even then, Aemon would support his legitimate younger brother's birthright.

If Aemon lives, he would marry Maris Baratheon and that's one more ally for the Blacks.

Aemon would claim Grey Ghost itself or steal one of its eggs, he's the son of Daemon and Laena after all, and want to fight but he would be beat to it by Baela.

Aemon would be a male mini-Laena being as adventurous, smooth and demure as his mother, and his sisters would tell him stories about their mother.

Viserys would claim Vermithor and if Visenya lives, then she can claim Silverwing, and Daena and Rhaena could get one of the other dragon eggs of their aunt Rhaena, Elaena's egg could also hatch as well.

Baela would get a new dragon from one of the eggs of Morning as well.

Daemon would teach all of his sons how to fight and encourage them to embrace chaos.

Baela and Rhaena would spoil their little sister Visenya, and as Baela is a tomboy and Rhaena a girl's girl, I like to think Visenya would be kind of an introvert with a stylish witch vibe.

Viserys II would bring his mother many treasures he found on his travels.

And without the trauma of seeing Rhaenyra die, Aegon would proudly wear the crown of Rhaenyra and Daena would wear it as well.

And Visenya would get special tiaras for herself and Viserys as the second and third in command of Aegon III and later Daena.

And I guess these are my headcanons.

I was thinking that your take on my lucerys survives the dance AU was perfect!! giving u full permission to play with it in ur mind as you'd like bc i wont probably write anything like a fic about it. (i might be here to give ideas if need be) although, may i suggest, bc i like the title "sea dragon" lucerys changing the house banner of velaryon from a seahorse to a seadragon. (the pic i put) velaryons now being the second house of westeros to ride dragons with luke and rhaena having both targaryen blood (targaryen heirs for it too in the future) also since now rhaenyra won the crown westeros is gonna shape into a much more progressive realm, with women having more rights than before and such. so itd be most logical for luke and rhaena to make lil changes in driftmark, make it better perhaps. also id imagine rhaena being sick of lucemond and its shit, wanting them to act on their impulses already. but she is a faithful companion and friend to luke so she stays silent. id also imagine rhaena and luke being a power couple, though not having romantic interests in each other theyd still do their duty and have kids

The idea that House Velaryon's sigil changes once Lucerys fully steps into his own as Lord of the Tides is brilliant. Even better if he wasn't even the one to come up with it - if it was something Corlys commissioned / created to honour his grandson taking over. It'd have so much more meaning then, and Lucerys would be so incredibly touched by the gesture and unspoken show of faith and love from his grandsire.

And yes yes yes to Lucerys and Rhaena getting married and being a platonic power couple. They have heirs, as duty demands, but while there's deep affection between them, they're not in love with each other. Rhaena would definitely be the one to quietly encourage lucemond to come to fruition once she figured out that they'd probably be good for each other.

Lucerys wouldn't be able to hide his desires from her, and Rhaena's only ever wanted her bestie to be happy. She'd eventually be the one to push Lucerys to think about what he actually felt for Aemond, and she would support whatever decision he'd make.

And purely from a plot perspective, the implications of Lucerys and Rhaena's marriage and close relationship (plus babies once they happen) would be so interesting to explore from Aemond's point of view. I foresee a lot of friction in that space, and with Aemond misunderstanding Rhaena's subtle hints of "you can totally fool around with my husband if you want", there's the potential for so much frustration and angst.

Kind of thinking that the twins being distraught and injured brings me back to the moment in driftmark when they hug their grandparents after a fight with Aemond. When grandparents hear about it and find out Aemond was involved AGAIN, even though Jace is partly to blame, those two just don’t mix, it’s a hard acceptance but there it is, I don’t think Aemond is going to win points with Corlys and Rhaenys anytime soon, especially Corlys, even more reason to just bar Aemond from any and all social events pertaining to his side of the family. I don’t know how he will reconcile Luke being with Aemond, I can see him keeling over if he sees them together, being rushed to the hospital because he just saw his favorite grandson with the spawn of evil and his poor heart can’t take it.

I took heavy inspo from the past incident at Driftmark when it came to Baela getting hurt and Rhaena doing her best to comfort her sister. Twins have such a deep emotional bond that the rest of us could never truly understand no matter how hard we try. For them, there’s never been a single thing in life they haven’t done without each other. From growing in the womb, to being born, learning how to walk and talk. All of these life defining moments have been shared between the two, so Baela was 100% Rhaena’s top priority in that moment.

Seeing the girls all shaken up due to an incident they see as Aemond’s fault put a bad taste in both Corlys and Rhaenys mouth that has never fully washed away since. Learning that their grandchildren have been hurt due to Aemond and Jace’s petty fighting once again (something they fault Aemond for more than Jace) won’t leave them with a good impression when it comes to winning their blessings to be with Luke.

As i’ve said before, Corlys is a big lucemond anti and will use this incident as proof as to why Aemond needs to stay far away from his grandson. Though it also shows the ever-present bias that’ll always be there when it comes to the greens since Baela getting hurt was just as much Jace’s fault as it was Aemond’s.

I agree with you when it comes to these two. Sadly, they’re like oil and water and probably will always be. Something has to give for this idea of a big happy family to actually work out, not saying they have to be friends because that just isn’t realistic. However, if they can get to a point where they don’t automatically assume the absolute worst about one another and immediately get to throwing hands, that’ll be great. Especially when it comes to Luke’s incoming journey to healing. Baby boy needs to be in a safe, calming environment and having his brother and love interest arguing is going to disturb that peace.

Poor Corlys, man is gonna have a heart attack when Lucemond becomes offical.

Fire & Blood Rewrite: Viserra Targaryen

               When Alyssa visited Winterfell she wrote home, saying "pups make for poor hosts it would seem. Is a grown wolf any better?" Troubled by her words, the king and queen agreed to send Lord Edric a subtle warning. Thus, Jaehaerys and Alysanne announced in 86 AC that Princess Viserra was to wed Lord Theomore's grandson the following year.

Ø  Her namesake loved to travel. She spent half of each year at Storm's End. The other half was spent at King's Landing, Driftmark, or Oldtown. (The Dornishmen were given a bloody nose by Lord Rogar when they invaded the realm in 48 AC. The Warrior's Sons of Gulltown were defeated by Lord Rogar in 49 AC. Septon Moon was captured in 50 AC. Lord Rogar's death in battle marked the beginning of the Fourth Dornish War.)

Ø  Alaric's sons (Brandon, Walton) were angered by his donation. As a result, they refused the brides offered by Queen Alysanne. (Barba Blackwood married Benjicot Royce. Alicent Rogers married Viserys Bolton.)

Ø  Edric was followed by Ellard in 99 AC. They were brothers. (The cruel winter of 99 AC claimed many other lives. Princess Gael was one such victim.)

Ø  Ellard was followed by Benjen in 104 AC. They were cousins. (Benjen was killed by a disgruntled man-at-arms in 111 AC.)

               When Viserra told the king about her doubts, he surprised her by arranging a progress to White Harbor. "A king should know his people," he said to her. "And they should know him as well."

               "Father, I am not a king."

               "But you are the daughter of one."

               The king and queen flew north. By ship came Princess Viserra and Princess Gael. They were also accompanied by a hundred courtiers and four knights of the Kingsguard. From there they traveled to Winterfell, the Last Hearth, and finally, Castle Black, where they were met by, of all people, the disgraced Kingsguard knight, Ser Lucamore (though they didn't know it was him till much later for he had taken to covering his face in the manner of a penitent). On the way back to King's Landing, they traveled to Winterfell, Barrowton, and White Harbor. "Are you happy now?" the king asked her inside the godswood.

               "To marry Desmond? Yes, father." (Truth be told, the young knight was besotted with her. That, in turn, pleased her vanity enough.)

               "Good..."

               "Father, what's wrong?"

               "Forgive me child. I am...getting old it would seem."

               "Father—"

               Jaehaerys waved her away. "I need to be alone."

               "But—"

               "Go!"

               The princess fled. (She later confessed to the queen "for a moment he was more king than man".)

Ø  They were later joined by Prince Baelon. (Feeding three wyrms gave Lord Edric fits.)

Ø  To her fury, Princess Saera was left behind. ("Why not me" she demanded. "I am four years older!" Prince Aemon's response to this tirade was not recorded. Lady Jocelyn tried to console her. For that, the crown princess won herself a black eye.)

Ø  Princess Gael danced with Ser Olyver Bracken. (He had served three kings. He saved the life of King Aenys I with help from Ser Raymont Baratheon. He loved Ser Lothor Cave, who died at the Great Fork alongside Ser Clarence Crabb. Ser Corlys Velaryon and Ser Humfrey the Mummer both died protecting Aegon I. Ser Raymont refused to serve King Maegor I. He was close to Ser Harold Langward. Ser Raymont died bringing Quicksilver to Aegon the Uncrowned. The Shivers took Ser Jon Tollett and Ser Symond Crayne. He slew Ser Raymund Mallery. He hated Ser William Hardy. Ser Richard Pyne was executed by King Maegor I. He was cut down by wildlings.)

Ø  Viserra wished to see the Dreadfort. Her request was refused. (Imagine her surprise when Lord Arryk Bolton joined them on the road back to King's Landing. "If the princess cannot come to the Dreadfort, then the Dreadfort will go to her instead.")

Ø  Alysanne was pleased to see Deep Lake. (Jaehaerys, on the other hand, was dismayed by the Kingsroad.)

               The following year (87 AC) Viserra and Desmond were wed in the Snowy Sept. From their union, two sons would be born to House Manderly: Medrick in 88 AC and Torrhen in 90 AC. The princess died one year later (91 AC). She had counted twenty years on this earth. (Viserra was thrown from her saddle while racing Desmond to the New Castle. He never wed again.)

Ø  The king and queen lit her funeral pyre together. ("When will this end?")

Ø  Her sworn shield, Jaehaerys Bolton, fell on his sword. (Out of shame, some say. Out of grief, others claim.)

Ø  The king and queen's one shame would be Princess Saera. Starved of affection and attention she left Westeros in 87 AC. She spent five years in Lys and thirty-seven in Old Volantis. Saera died of natural causes in 129 AC. The princess was sixty-two years old. (Braxton Beesbury was killed by sellswords in 92 AC.)

Ø  Lord Peake was frightened by Viserra's wedding. He fortified his castles, gave bread to the poor, and renewed his ties to Oldtown as well as the Arbor. To cap things off a tourney was hosted. The winner was Lord Theomore's baseborn brother. (His grandson was impoverished as a result.)

Ø  When Prince Aemon died the following year (92 AC), Jocelyn moved back to Storm's End. (She attended the Great Council of 101 AC. On her way home, Jocelyn died of a sudden stroke. The crown princess was forty-seven years old.)

Ø  Boremund had five sons by his wife, Lady Jeyne of House Ball. (He died of a burst heart in 126 AC. He was seventy-four years old.)

Ø  Borros was named for his maternal grandfather. He had one half-sibling: Ser Bartimos Ball. Borros was Boremund's youngest child.
