Yarn Dyed Fabrics
Yarn Dyed Fabrics: Where Artistry Meets Textile Innovation
Yarn dyed fabrics are a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship that elevate textiles to a whole new level. Unlike printed fabrics, where the design sits on the surface, yarn dyed fabrics are woven with threads pre-dyed in distinct colors, creating patterns and designs that run through the entire fabric. This results in a depth and richness of color that remains vibrant over time, making every garment or home textile a work of enduring beauty.
The meticulous process of yarn dyeing ensures that each thread is saturated with pigment before weaving, offering a longevity of color that resists fading. Whether it's classic stripes, intricate plaids, or intricate checks, yarn dyed fabrics bring a timeless and elegant aesthetic to your fashion or home decor. They are the preferred choice for those who seek quality and style that goes beyond the surface.
Choose yarn dyed fabrics for a touch of sophistication and textile excellence, where every thread tells a story of dedication to quality and design.

Im sewing a new dress and apparently the fabric is extremely noisy. I havent even noticed while handling because im just in the zone. After a quick search i found many tips on how to 'silence' clothes and fabrics. Is a loud fabric really that bad though??
In one article there was even a paragraph about tuffeta ruffles, which were seen (and heard) as the luxurious sound of rich ladies dancing around. Can we bring that back perhaps. This dress is beautiful and elegant and i want it to be seen AND heard.

welp, my worst fear came true: i ran out of a specific color of minky for the beastos babies; namely the grey the front legs are made of.
in compliance with ongoing strikes this week, i will not be replenishing my stock. but due to my want of completing my work in a timely manner, i will be using a lighter grey to complete the front feet (i've cut all the top parts out, i ran out to make the bottoms, so the undersides of their feet will be a slightly different color)
hope that is alright with the adopters!

La Bamba (1987) was on the tv and it fucked me up
I watched like 15 mins and suddenly I'm having a vintage fashion phase again 😭
And this time it's easier than ever bc I have curated a vintage wardrobe I just style it in modern ways
I miss wearing my creepers
