How did Mermaid Y/N Cookie lose their voice?

Oh right, I had to forgo that bit about Mercookie Y/N a bit for Mermaid’s Lament, but essentially…

You had ran afoul of some of Abalone Cookie’s crew after they caught wind of your singing. It was endearing to them and would lead up to their attempted capture of you.

An horrific accident would occur where a crew cookie miscalculated their throw and struck you right in the throat, not enough to go though, but it took your voice away as a result.

It’s still a touchy subject with you, the other mercookies don’t want to bring it up out of respect for you and your now condition. Frilled Jellyfish and White Pearl Cookie are the most attentive, making sure if you’re okay.

Dear Keeper of the lore: I'm mere adventurer but I have stumbled upon two cookies who have crystals mixed in their dough in the caves, one is a ghost like blue sapphire while the other is a rose like red Ruby, they mentioned that they are twins, coming from the same batch of dough that witches have made.. I'm curious on how Crystal/Gem Cookie become how they are now, like black sapphire for example or aquamarine cookie?

The witches don't usually put ACTUAL gems in cookies. The cookies are mostl likely made out of rock candy. It's the same with the Gem mermaids, who have rock candy in their dough.

Black Sapphire Cookie's dough doesn't actually contain any rock candy! His dough is actually made from Sweet Sapphire Grapes

Peefect for him, honestly. Fits the phrase, "Hearing through the grapevine", and is a bit misleading as well.

(turns around in my chair) It is time, I am basically a year late to this mermaid AU trend but here we go! Mermaid!Moonflower is here

Here's a silly little concept sheet!

Moonflower hails from the treacherous waters of Beast-Yeast, travelling far after escaping the salt water lake and being chased out by the other shapeshifting mermaids, she set out to find a new home. Yet that journey was tough as she was never taught how to fend for herself properly... After weeks of non-stop travelling, she got caught up in a massive fishing net, escaped from it after ripping a hole in it. Luckily, she was eventually found by a herd of Jellyfish (whom led Frilled Jellyfish Cookie to her) when she could no longer swim properly from the damage caused by the fishing net (including the parts still stuck to her).

She was effectively too weak to shapeshift or communicate for a while there so no one really knew that she COULD shapeshift into a mermaid, or shapeshift into a variety of things!

But when they figured it out, the gem mermaids gladly took her in. Just to note, she is a creation of White Lily Cookie but WL is her ONLY biological parent. She was created as an example of how the process worked for the Faeries. But poor lil' Moonflower does not remember very much, she barely remembered her name!

Here are some silly interaction doodles. If you're asking about Moonys landform, its not perfect. She HAS to keep herself moist or else shes gonna dry out. So, her exploration is very limited. Yes, I love Tinkerbell movies esp 'The Secret of the Wings'. This is where I drew the land-form inspo from! (particularly Periwinkle! I love her)

I do imagine that Meringue or Moonflower don't discover that they're sister (or half sisters???) until White Lily reveals information about Moony :p I love family drama hehehe~

Note: Moonflower has some trouble with her swimming / walking ever since the fish net hurt her fins and navigational antenna (the ones on her head and back tail!)

Shadow Milk was trying to date with Aquamarine Cookie, but the 4 Gem Mermaids found out of what Aquamarine have, So the 4 Gem Mermaids get so angry when they asked Shadow Milk that he know other sea cookies because he called the 4 Gem Mermaids" jealous cookies" Shadow Milk had to fight the 4 of Aquamarine's Sisters but Shadow Milk used his skill to defeat the 4 Gem Mermaids, making them defeated. When the 4 Gem Mermaids are defeated, Shadow Milk win so he can keep Aquamarine Cookie and make her as her GF to be her Valentine's to be trust. the 4 Gem Mermaids lose because they didn't defeat Shadow Milk Cookie, These 4 Gem Mermaids are injured, they are hurt badly and they need to get healed
