FFXV Playthrough Update

Finished Committing Base Terrorism. On the way forgot that it was an open-world video game and almost got level 81 Monkeyed. That was fun.

When the Chocobros split up and we ended up with Cor, did the Chocobros beat up an entire Garrison? Because that was both cool and weird to me. A boy mom, a cup noodle addict and a human chocobo walked into a military garrison and won.

Fought a mech and almost got blew up because I thought it was a good idea to just question if Loqi was dead (is he actually dead though? Since the Assassin's creed event's not happening anymore is he actually dead?).

Saw the cutscene with the Nifhies and Aranea's an absolute mood because that girl wanted out of that meeting. She was definitely thinking that this could've been a email.

Honestly it's been going good so far. Finally got Iggy to say the line and gonna take pics to show you guys next time.

Noctis had the very dangerous habit of running his mouth when he probably shouldn't. It wasn't the best was to deal with stressful situations, but it was better to be mouthy than to show vulnerability. He'd known there was something different about the cuffs as soon as they closed around him.

He felt...empty. That usual buzz of magic that he felt within him was gone. He'd tried to summon a blade or a ball of fire – anything – but to no avail. With no magic, and no way of wielding a sword, there wasn't much Noctis could do but sit back, wait for backup, and hope that an opportunity to break free would arise.

"Honestly, I don't think you're even on his radar." Cor was a busy man, after all, and he'd gained a lot of enemies over the years. He probably didn't even remember Loqi's name. That was the thing about Cor. He didn't care about fame or glory and he certainly never let it go to his head. If anything, the man seemed embarrassed when anyone spoke of his legendary exploits.

"Unlike your Emperor, my father never viewed his men as expendable, and neither do I." It was a sore spot though, since Noctis had always hated the thought of people getting hurt to protect him. "Oh, I'd never mock Cor. Unlike some people, he understands honour."

"So, you caught me. What's the plan now? Take me back to Gralea to meet with your benevolent Emperor? Or is this just your attempt at getting Cor to notice you?"

Pretty bold tongue for a fucking prince in shackles that jammed his magic.

Loqi squinted at Noctis for a moment, before he busied himself again with checking the security of the airship once more. He had caught the Lucian prince. He wouldn't allow any mistake to happen now. Of course he would be brought to the Emperor. And then Niflheim could have justice. And Loqi himself? He'd get the promotion of his lifetime. They'd know his name for generations.

Though first he had to get there... maybe he should stuff the royal's mouth, too, during the flight.

"What is it with you lot and your obsession with me and Cor? And you thinking I need his attention that desperately? We're enemies. Similar roles in opposing armies. If I kill him, I get an extra star on my shoulder. Same, if he kills me. Not that you would know anything about a soldier's life. You just let them die for you, don't you? It's your family-tradition. Let the peasants die, have a grand life yourself. And now you mock me and Leonis to a degree? What is it, didn't he lick your ass well enough?"

Loqi's obsession and admiration for someone who's an enemy is a huge selling point for me. Loqi's side of things is where my interest lies. And of course the problem of being on opposing sides of a war. One sided rivalry developing in an unexpected direction. Not my biggest ship and I don't actively seek it out, but it's good.

Ravqi - SSS (A isn't high enough so dmc rating)

My beloveds have sooo much potential. They can change each other. They can challenge each other's worldview, especially Ravus to Loqi. I love the idea of Loqi of all people being the one to get Ravus' attention, but of course Ravus tries to ignore it. He can't fall in love with someone from Niflheim. And Ravus is pretty, and fun to mess with, and oops Loqi's developing feelings he really shouldn't have for the ex- prince of Tenebrae. It's a beautiful mess but they sort it out and their personalities are fun to mesh together in AUs as well. A rarepair but it's the one thing I definitely still love from ffxv.
