In this au I do specifically have it be Marc and I've not quite figured out how or why he has so fucking many miraculous but listen

This whole au is based on one fucking fact

I thought it would be fucking hilarious to have a single miraculous hero named Loki

And they just have any miraculous relating to an animal that Loki the mythological figure is associated with

Fox

Any others I'm currently forgetting but those were the main five

So then this hero would always choose the name Loki

They appear on the scene, another miraculous user asks who they are

"I'm Loki."

"But Loki was the--"

"Who said you could only have one superpower?"

"But--"

"I'm Loki, deal with it."

Like, instead of the hero always changing their name to reflect their powers

Well... Atsushi and Nikolai aren't my OCs. They were created by Kafka Asagiri and Harukawa Sango (author and artist of BSD). They have official favourite food.

Atsushi's favourite food is chazuke. In the Self-Aware BSD AU, I also added malatang (Chinese hot pot) as his favourite food

Nikolai's favourite food is piroshki. In the Self-Aware BSD AU, I also added pasta as his favourite food.

Other characters, who have cannon favourite food, for now, didn't have anything new added to their favourite food.

I think you mentioned once that you like to cook, and a lot of your fics have mentions of food (which I love btw). So I was wondering: Do you have specific meals/recipes that make you think of certain clones? Or, do you have any headcanons as to Earth-based meals/foods specific clones would deem their favorite?

Not a weird ask at all! I do love to cook, and I'm always down to talk about food 💚

I will always think about fresh pasta with wild mushroom ragu when I think about Waxer thanks to "The Sixth Language." I have actually made that meal, and it's delicious. (I also tried to do the sexy cooking lesson with my partner, which was... Less successful 💀)

I personally headcanon that every clone has a massive sweet tooth thanks to their enhanced metabolisms and the fact that they didn't get sweets growing up. I also think they would pretty much all enjoy spicy food. This HC is for sure influenced by how spicy Mandalorian cuisine is supposed to be.

I think a lot of family-style meals would be really appealing to the clones, just because they would appreciate the sense of community. Any meal where a big group of people gathers around a table to eat and drink and laugh and talk and bond—I think that would be a dream come true for a lot of the clones. NB I'm not necessarily talking about literal biological family here; I mean it in the sense of the people you love and care about most—whomever that may include.

As far as specific foods:

I think Gregor would have a weakness for cheeseburgers (and apparently pineapple).

Dogma seems like a risotto man to me, for some reason (the technique would appeal to him, I think). He would probably love the precision of molecular gastronomy.

We know the Bad Batch loves sushi! I think seafood would be popular with a lot of the clones because they grew up on an oceanic world (though to be honest, I don't know whether their diets actually included seafood on Kamino, or whether it was just nutrient sludge).

I think Crosshair would love ramen—if he ever got a chance to actually take a bite of it.

Jesse seems like he would be very aware of his macros, and he'd be a surprisingly good cook. Mapo tofu would be his specialty. He would tell you exactly how many grams of protein was in it.

Tup... Vegetarian. Idk why, he just gives the vibe. But he'd be sneaky about it. He'd feed you the most amazing meal of your life, and you'd never even realize it was vegan.

Fireball would probably love poke bowls. Extra avocado, please!

Kix is addicted to junk food, and if anyone teases him about it, he'll be extra shaky next time he has to give them an injection. Jesse is constantly trying to get him to do better.

Rex has been a Sunday roast fan ever since he ate dinner with Cut and Suu.

Wolffe and Hunter seem like barbecue men—legit barbecue, not burgers and hot dogs. Like cochinita pibil, Texas-style brisket, barbacoa, Carolina whole hog. FIRE🔥

Cody secretly loves cheap pizza (think Little Caesar's), but if you asked him his favorite food, he'd probably say something like coq au vin. Don't get me wrong, he likes coq au vin too; it just doesn't scratch that particular itch.

The entire Coruscant Guard loves street food. Any kind of street food. If it comes from a food truck and can be eaten while walking, they're happy.

If the books were up-rated in age I'm sure the marlfoxes would be like, committing incest with one another constantly just to hammer in how ~evil~ they are and how they don't have ~morals~ like ~us.~

The water rats celebrating the marlfoxes' deaths and becoming peaceful farmers? Really? In a series where rats are biologically impelled to be evil, selfish, nasty, mean, brutish? Aha. Tell me more about how the native populations celebrated the civilizing light of the British reaching them, Mr. Jacques.

So obviously the Marlfoxes were cool ninjas, yeah, sure, probably did some bad things, yeah! They, like all other "vermin" races, have spent their lives having the arable land owned by selfish, snobbish upper-crust goodbeasts. Of course everyone wants to conquer Redwall--they control all the good land, and refuse to allow the filthy, lower, base vermin races access to them.

Okay! Established. Marlfoxes are awesome, Redwallers are all entrenched oppressors. Let's say one gets sucked into a space-time vortex and ends up in Qud.

So, after some culture shock, there's some things they'll notice. Snapjaws will be nice to them, because the law of mimicry means they'll recognize the snout and the fur and be inclined towards it. The marlfox will see another people desperately scrabbling together a hard-fought life, and, ok, have you seen snapjaws.

They get killed by equimaxes.

They get killed by horned chameleons.

They get killed by salthoppers, dragonflies, and dromads!

Do snapjaws raid peaceful settlements? Sure. They have their forts and their castles, but they're rattle-skattle things shored up poorly against the salt around them. How else can they survive but in raiding? This isn't like the goats, who dominate the land. Snapjaws are forced to the edges, and everything is their match or more.

So I'm thinking a marlfox, being clever and having been in that situation most of their life, will experience a feeling between sympathy and opportunity.

While there are peaceful snapjaw settlements, how much land is there in Qud that can support a village? This is something that's finally going to come up in Proselytize soon enough--one of the big theses of the story! There isn't enough resources for everyone to live in peace. It's just a hardboned fact. The Brambled Fae is gonna have a lot to say about it!

So obviously the marlfox would accumulate snapjaws, build a castle, and history would repeat itself. But there are no Redwallers who own everything. Each village is a small center of power at best. Yd Freehold, Ezra, the Six Day Stilt, even these centers of power don't project force externally much.

And that's why it's ENTIRELY 100% CANON that my Redwall marlfox CoQ crossover OC donut steel is going to build a snapjaw empire, and bring prosperity to snapjaws everywhere. Probably at the expense of, oh, let's say, I don't know. I'll roll dice to determine who to destroy the homes from.

To answer your questions in order:

I'm inspired by music, fanfiction, and whatever random thing I can think of that would make a vaguely entertaining story.

Right now I've got one major OC and another OC in development. The finished OC is (currently) named Professor Eden, who's a burnt-out researcher who keeps rats in his apartment. The in-development OC is a rat who lives in Professor Eden's apartment and is probably the protagonist of the story. Oh, and there might be a rat god involved.

I like fan songs, punk, and songs from musicals. Plus a bunch of songs that fall into other categories like indie, pop, or... I'm not even really sure.

I don't really have a favorite country, but I've always thought the UK was cool! (...mostly because of Doctor Who.) ...I just realized you're French... You know what, forget I said the UK is cool- what I'm trying to say is that Doctor Who is cool.

My dream aesthetic is either goblincore or dark academia.

My biggest dream in general is to become a published author- or better yet, to become a published author with a devoted and respectful internet following :3

🍄 What are your OCs favourite snacks? Their favourite comfort food which always cheers them up when they’re down? Favourite meal to make? Do they enjoy baking and cooking and are they any good in the kitchen?

He knows how to cook (that high Knowledge: World score) but 90% of the time he’s too lazy or has better things to do, so he’ll just grab a baguette and some cheese, olives, grapes, figs, melon and cured ham, whatever’s in season. Those are his favorite snacks, preferably in picnic format.

However—if he makes up his mind he’s going to make you a meal, it will be a treat. He goes to a great deal of trouble. First of all he’ll get up early and go to the market to see what’s fresh before he even decides on a recipe. And market day with Sia is something. He’s best friends with all the merchants. He’ll stop and ask the halfling couple who sell mushrooms how their kids are doing, buy pastries for the urchins, banter with the baker, faux-flirt with the girls at the produce stand… And he impulse buys, so you’ll end up with a block of nougat the size of your head or a huge basket of strawberries.

His specialties are wine-based stews like beef bourgignon and coq au vin, or curries he mixes spices for himself. He will take the trouble to prepare a marinade the night before and use a cookie-cutter to make little heart-shaped croutons as garnish.

The kitchen will be a disaster area when he’s done. If he were on his own the dishes would stack up, but out of consideration he may actually make an effort, though you might have to wait until the next morning and there will have to be something fun about it like singing or suds battles.

I answered this one for his outfits but here another: his smile. Like the Cheshire cat it was one of the first things that came into focus when he was coming to life. It lights up his face like the sun. It’s genuine, sometimes manipulative, sometimes both. It’s optimistic in the face of terrible odds. It’s comforting to the people around him. It’s his secret weapon.
