ขั้นตอนการทำงาน ( Procedure )
SURFACE PREPARATION:
การเคลือบผิวด้วยสารเคลือบ จะได้ผลตามประสงค์ขึ้นอยู่กับการเตรียมผิวที่จะเคลือบให้ถูกต้องและได้มาตรฐานตามกำหนดไว้ หลักใหญ่ที่จะต้องคำนึงถึงมีดังนี้
ผิวเหล็ก
ทำการล้างไขมัน และ ลอกสีเก่า ออกจากผิวเดิม
ใช้ กระดาษทราย หรือ เครื่องพ่นทรายขัดผิวเหล็ก ขัดผิวเหล็กให้ได้ความละเอียดตามมาตราฐาน (Cleanliness) Sa 2 – Sa 2 1/2 Near White, ความหยาบผิว (Profile) 75 – 120 ไมครอน ตรวจสอบความสะอาด ให้เรียบร้อย ขนเศษวัสดุ นำไปกำจัด
งานเคลือบรองพื้น (Primer) ลงน้ำยารองพื้นเคลือบผิวเหล็ก หนาประมาณ 150 ไมครอน ทันที ภายในเวลา ไม่เกิน 2 ชั่วโมง เพื่อป้องกันการเกิดสนิมเหล็ก
ผิวคอนกรีต
คอนกรีตที่เทใหม่ ก่อนเคลือบควรมีอายุอย่างน้อย 28 วัน
ใช้ HCL Acid ทำความสะอาดผิวคอนกรีต ทิ้งไว้ประมาณ 5 นาที ใช้น้ำสะอาดล้างอีกครั้ง
ซับน้ำให้แห้ง แล้วใช้พัดลม หรือ สปอร์ต ไลท์ ��ป่าหรืออบผิวคอนกรีตให้แห้งสนิท
ผิวคอนกรีตจะต้องสะอาด แห้ง ปราศจากสิ่งสกปรก คราบน้ำมัน จารบี ไขมัน
งานเคลือบรองพื้น (Primer) ลงน้ำยารองพื้นเคลือบผิวคอนกรีต หนาประมาณ 150 ไมครอ

งานสร้างเนื้อ (Resurface) ซ่อม สร้างเนื้อส่วนที่เสียหาย และ สร้างเนื้อที่ขอบมุมให้โค้ง รับการวางเส้นใยไม่ให้เกิดฟองอากาศ
งานลงเส้นใยเสริมแรง (Hand Lay up with Chopped Strand Mat) ลงเส้นใยเสริมแรง พร้อม น้ำยา(Resin)
บริเวณ พื้นถัง และสูงขึ้นมาจากขอบถังประมาณ 1 ม. จำนวน 3 ชั้น การต่อแผ่นเส้นใยห้ามต่อชน แต่ให้เกยกันประมาณ 10 – 15 ซม. ( Overlapping ).
ส่วนที่ขอบผนังถัง วางเส้นใย 2 ชั้น พร้อมน้ำยา ในการวางเส้นใยแต่ละชั้นให้ไล่ฟองอากาศ ให้เรียบร้อย ทิ้งไว้ให้แห้ง
บริเวณ เหล็กฉากโครงสร้างหลังคาถัง ให้ใช้น้ำยาเคลือบ Flake Lining Compound หรือ เคลือบน้ำยา 3 ชั้น โดยการทา หรือ การพ่นสเปรย์ เพื่อให้เข้าไปเคลือบให้ทั่วถึง ตามซอก ตามมุม ต่าง ๆ
งานเคลือบเส้นใยบาง ( Surfacing Tissue หรือ Surface Veil ) ลงเส้นใยบางพร้อมน้ำยา จำนวน 1 ชั้น ไล่ฟองอากาศ ตรวจสอบความเรียบร้อย ทิ้งให้แห้ง
งานเคลือบทับหน้า ( Top Coating ) ทำการเคลือบทับหน้าด้วยน้ำยาเคลือบทับหน้าอีก 1 ครั้ง
งาน ตรวจสอบ และ ควบคุมคุณภาพ (Quality Control and Inspection ) ทีมงานตรวจสอบ ควบคุมคุณภาพ จะต้องตรวจสอบ ระบบงานเคลือบผิวตลอดเวลา ทุกขั้นตอนการทำงาน ตามมาตราฐาน จัดทำรายงาน

But one point we must know in case it becomes steam, and the protectiong step will be open by releasing the steam through the valve, we would like to know what the valve be made of?

The designed the tank protection system by SW 6920C Chlorendic UP Laminated Chemical Tank Lining ( FRP ) for internal protection and erosion on steel from Free Chlorine which come from the Salt-powder and Salt-waters (Concentrated upto Purified Sodium Chloride : NaCl ) in the tank which are the by-products from gas / condensate seperation process.

The free chloride on the steel surface before coating and lining does not allow to over 5 ppm. or 5% As I check the Chloride on the surface of steel surface before coating is below 5 ppm.The propane in tank is in liquid status. I will ask for the exact soaking temperature of propane in the tank again.
In case of urgently solve the problem , we have an additve like SWANCOR SWUVEC 830-T40 ;  SWUV830    SWUV830   Epoxy-novalac acrylic oligomer, diluting in 40% trimethylol propane triacrylate (TMPTA).It’s the additive for increasing the heat temperture of SW907.
The project will start on 24th November 2006 because of refinery shutting- down. Now the point is how much percentage of Chloride are in the tank. Is it quantity measured by ppm or % in this tank? Besides, the propane is in liquid and protected not to be in steam status? The most of time of propane liquid in the tank keep in 40 degree C. For propane, our 907 can resist to 60 degree C.
