i turn 24 today. To celebrate, I made this comic to be a spiritual successor to lead balloon, a comic in which I talked about the darkest period of my life so far.

A lot has changed since my 23rd birthday and this one. My priorities have shifted a lot, in ways that I think are mostly good. But i think the best part about today is that suicide has gone back to being a far away notion. I'm really lucky, and I'm grateful for that.

i wanna do my own human Scarab design some time in the future, I discussed this on my personal but I felt pretty disappointed that fans weren't relying on Scarab's real face for inspiration and instead just using the Farmworld design he used once.

Especially since his real face makes him look like he has big nerdy glasses

The new Halloween event is just Skully flirting with everyone (and making Riddle competitive???), fanboying over Jack and acting like a cartoon character (with actual decent comedic potential?!?) while the nrc boys stand in the background observing him like the lunatic he is.

LITTLE GUY O'CLOCK

whew!! I've had this idea for a soot sprite cosplay for Litcherally so long, i thought it was never going to happen but lo and behold! here he be!! !!! I was trying to avoid fur projects to give the Dust Situation in my abode a rest but that...did not happen 🤨

This costume is another primarily suede affair, with only a few accent fabrics other than the faux fur. 90% of fabrics were from big z....again. The things of note on this guy are the chubby stars which are all painted novelty stress balls! also the big soot sprite, Augustus, is actually a fur covered beach ball.

I've always gotten a kick out of this design and thought the soot sprites were just endlessly charming, so i'm pretty happy with this project!

I got weirdly anxious about posting this. I actually REALLY despise how I ended up making Roman but fixing it would require like. 4 hours at most to redraw, color, etc.

OK SO. REALLY BAD BRAINWORMS ABOUT THESE TWO! Its like as soon as October hit, I had to make Nightmare before Christmas art. So I dragged Prinxiety into it to.

um. I had more to say. Its 1 am for me rn. I'm fricking exhausted.

also note: I am a Florida resident. I may go MIA in the next week when I lose power (cuz ik for sure its gonna happen) wish me luck!

two character's ive had in mind for a while but finally got myself to design, ylvarg (he/him) and faství (she/her)! they are old friends of gullmar !

ylvarg is a passionate linguist and polyglot (in the sense that he can understand many different languages... due to troll anatomy he cant speak any other than trollic), while faství is a tomte who loves to travel and be all over the place - otherwise, she wouldn't make the trek from her home in ångermanland to gästrikland every year to meet up with her friends during winter!
