Ok so small rant section but this game is so tragic. Like the art style is so goofy and fun but it hits you so hard that these are KIDS. -Apparently the 'warp pots' are a consistent thing- I guess that's just how Link teleports in dungeons in this game. The second pot is generally hidden a bit but then you can teleport to the beginning of the dungeon and back- then the third pot is near the end... I think. This is only my second dungeon in this game with the pots but it's going great! I'm learning a lot hehe

-I love the grappling hook so much. I can farm spoils/materials from monsters with it before I kill them and I love that. Also it makes me feel cool swinging it.

-WDYM I CAN GET FREE BLUE POTIONS FROM A KOROK USING EASILY ATTAINABLE (with the grappling hook) MATERIALS FROM BOKO BABAS THIS IS JOY THIS IS LOVE IT GIVES ME HEALTH A N D MAGIC FJDKFJFK

-Also the title screen theme and animation play around outset is very satisfying. Watched it replay three times tonight before starting the game. Time well spent.

-I appreciate the items so much. The Deku Leaf is great like I can F L Y with magic and also blow wind at enemies and make them look silly <3

-The look of Link's spoils bag has grown on me and I love it. Purple.

-That was the prettiest boss fight ever. I couldn't even be intimidated, I don't think I've ever been more relaxed during a boss fight lol. They should make all of them purple and blue sparkly- it was legitimately beautiful.

-I finished the forbidden forest dungeon!! :DD yayyy

-Link's hopping up and down in celebration after the boss fight was so cute he's so happy!!

-I spent a bit just sailing around. I need to place the shiny pearl thingies from the gods in special places marked on the map to 'reveal the place where my courage will be tested' or whatever

-I have found several great fairies and gotten my rupees and wallets upgraded twice. I like the fairies in this game.

-there's this one square with beedles shop ship that has an empty bottle and heart piece and treasure chart for sale 00 I got the empty bottle immediately ofc (now I have three!!) and saved up the money and got the rest :) it was all like. Five to nine hundred rupees each yeesh

-Link sure does rely on maps and charts a lot in this game

Ok (storytime) so I was placing the last pearl of the gods that I've been collecting in the ancient statue and a cutscene starts right?

So Link places Farore's pearl and the ancient statue starts glowing. and Link kinda startles and runs away, but then he comes back and the statue EXPLODES with light and Link goes FLYING like Farore just bitch slapped Link with power across the ocean WHY?!?!

And so you have this big dramatic cutscene where the ancient statues become really pretty and form a map of the triforce on the ocean and a big freaking TOWER comes rising out of the water and it's really cool- and then at the end Link SPLATS INTO THE FREAKING TOWER AFTER BEING SENT FLYING INTO IT LIKE GIVE THE KID A BREAK ALREADY

Of all the things I was expecting in wind waker, a cutscene of Link being sent hurtling across the world to slam face first into the literal 'tower of the gods' was not it. like forget a concussion how is Link ALIVE?!?!

-k so anyways. I'm good. Wasn't expecting that. This 'tower of the gods' is the place the King of red lions keeps telling Link he'll be tested/have to prove himself to the gods as a hero or something

-Oooo this dungeon seems cool so far! Riding in, it's just risen out of the ocean, so I'm entering the dungeon on my boat dad

-so it's like we can do it together! Not really, but King Red is how I get around the first bit at least. It's crazy how Link doesn't have a companion for in dungeons. Boat dude has just been dropping Link off at dungeons like a kid at school.

-So the tides come in and out of this dungeon. The floor will be filled with water when it's up and I'm only able to walk when tide is low and the waters gone. This is dangerous because Link, although he can survive being yeeted across the sea, can in fact drown.

-also I've just realised I haven't died so far in this game yet!! Go me :D

we're called PARA (i thought of that in two seconds) because it comes from the word 'paranormal' and our concept is themed around paranormal and absurdity and shit like that 🔥 so think dreamcatcher or redvelvet. idk what to call our fans but we'll figure it out soon.

we debuted in 2013 and we're almost like bts/nct/svt type popularity. and we work like xg, like we're japan-based but promote in south korea.

our genres are rnb, psychedelic rock and pop and city pop. so that's like tame impala, pink floyd and various rap and city pop artists. sometimes we do nct/aespa style music as well.

like i mentioned before, we have a weird concept and that changes all the time. we debuted like loona but instead of solo songs, we debuted with group songs, like the vocal team, rap team and dance team. our debut song is "the 7th sense" from nct !

we used to be in some company later bought by hybe. and the jjk manga exists, but it's kinda like how enhypen has dark moon? i'm gonna script our manga is delivered slightly better than it is here and no one fucking dies. and that it wins multiple awards asw hehe.

i forgot to mention we're a 9 member group, 3 people each for vocals, rap and dance. and we're a co-ed group: 6 boys and 3 girls. the girls have our own sub-unit as well.

we kinda have lore? we have made some songs for our manga but our discography isn't entirely based on that.

sukuna. leader and main rapper. he gives off leader vibes and he's totally the main rapper like i don't think any other position fits him 🙏

gojo. main dancer, visual and face of the group. i kinda see him as an all rounder but mainly focused on dancing

geto. lead/main vocal and visual. also plays the guitar, but only for some of our songs because we're a group not a band

nanami. main vocal. he is main vocal coded idc. i was stuck between choosing the rapper position for him or the vocal and i went with vocal. oh also he's my husband just putting that out there

shoko. she's main pookie. also the lead dancer. i was going to give her vocal but then i remember she smokes a lot so ... which is perfectly fine ofc

choso. lead rapper. there is no arguing against this 😡 my pookie will rap like a pro, fight me on this. also he could be the face of the group asw no harm

haibara. he's also main pookie. (😁) and he's lead vocal btww. and maknae *yayyy*

utahime. she's a dancer. confirmed by me. (she gives off yuna vibes)

we have sasaeng fans and they aren't all that harmful, they're just there ... sometimes annoying but not too much

our fandom is kinda like carats/atiny/nctzens but backed with the streaming power of blinks and armies (ooh we won). also scripted we have a lot of chinese fans (they are so powerful)

as for scandals, i haven't scripted anything i'll give that also to the universe (nothing too serious tho)

and ofc i scripted i have the mental capacity to deal with scandals like i'm such a baddie 💔

and ofc we win a lot of awards and go on talk shows and shit 😍

ooh and i scripted a variety show but like it's a reality tv show, pretty cool and we call it paranormal, once again took two seconds to think of that lmao

MYTH-TOBER 2024 17. Persephone Persephone is one of my favorite goddesses because we have few sources about her but on the other she is very well known and you can infer a lot about her. For me she is a very sassy queen who when she wants to can be scarier than death. Tho, she has a warm heart and absolutely will not resist sighing for true love. In general I could not find her canonical sacred animal, I saw entries that it was a deer, a bat or a rooster but nothing is certain. On the one hand I liked the symbolism of the bat - sooo she get fangs. I think they fit her. On the other hand due to the fact that she is very well known for being the daughter of Demeter I gave her pig ears, the same as her mother had. And the color of pomegranate, of course. Other than her abduction, her known myths include the one with Adonis (bleh) and the one where she gets pregnant by force from Zeus and gives birth to Zagreus (BLEH). Warmer myths include when she supposedly played with the nymph Hercyna who had a goose, the goose ran away to a cave and hid under a rock, and when Persephone picked it up, a river leaked out of it, which was named after the nymph - Hercyna. There's also a really cool myth about how she deals with Hades' howling lover, Minthe, and turns her into a mint bush. Persephone doesn't have a chill about her relationship. I also drew asphodel flowers on her clothes because they represented the underworld, death, and mourning. She also has some wheat here in honor of her former self, Kore. So I may or may not have given him a lot of scars... the big one on his chest and the one on his forehead are from the 𝓘𝓷𝓬𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓽

Also the scars on his knees are from knee surgery (also as a result from the 𝓘𝓷𝓬𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓽). The scars on his fingers are from building and other engineering works (he's also a nail biter but w them sharp teeth... yikes !!!)

On a more angstier note (totally not me projecting) he does have some old SH scars that have healed (thx to Ortho's support)

So since he has a blood curse that burns blot, I decided that his blood is nearly black in color due to the blot with an indigo hue (throwback to purple blood HC) that once again explains his naturally blue features. Also decided I wasn't quite rocking w the old skin color hc I had b4 so I changed it (please note that this is on PC so it might look different than mobile for some reason) to look more dead ig??

oh man you gotta know i know neither jack nor shit about the comics pre-idw and i am also for the most part not particularly interested in learning. rocking the wiki real quick though; this is him, i presume/hope?

i do actually really like the concept for this guy bc i'm always a fan of in-canon 4th-wall-breaky and/or behind the author process stuff, but im gonna be real chief he looks a bit shit. does NOT deserve a name as cool as 'megadroid'. i was anticipating some wacky final boss shit but i guess i should have expected otherwise from a mascot type character. the mega drive design gimmick is a fun idea but there is really just absolutely nothing notable going on with this design at all, like. it is a Nineties Robot Mascot Design and that is all there is to say about this thing.

kinda sad they apparently retired him in '98 though. it would have been WAY cooler if they'd inexplicably kept this incredibly antiquated character design around long past the time his gimmick was actually relevant just because he's their established Guy

these are also jsut the most generic possible Two Thousands Robot Mascot Design and it's so much worse. it would be a bit of disservice to say the original "had more heart" because it's mostly just that these guys are not yet antiquated enough to have that charm to them, but at least the 90's one comes more from a place of robots being a new and fascinating concept. these ones are just...'hey what's cool these days days? robots? lets make a Cool And Trendy Robot Design To Appeal To The Teens'. they're also just SO much more glaringly mismatched with the usual sonic art/design style so it's way more apparent they didn't care at all. all of this reinforces my opinion that it'd have been neat to have the old clunker one around forever despite being irrelevant; they could even make 'back in my day we had this thing called the genesis mega drive' jokes about it.

Honest opinions on Wrestlemania XL Sunday:

Drew v Seth: I was so happy for Drew when he pinned Seth. Seth was taking those hits like a boss but Drew was honestly slaying. Drew’s entrance looked cool asf but wth was Seth’s😭!? Him tweeting during the match was actually so funny. But anyways, DAMIAN CASHING IN WAS AMAZING AND JUDGEMENT DAY CHEERING TOGETHER AT THE END MADE ME SO HAPPY!!! (I expected Damian to cash in but I was glad he did) Match was still really short tho.

The Pride v The Final Testament: I like both teams but may I say, Scarlett and Karrion looked badass. Some of those hits had to be painful, on both sides. Also Karrion just picking Scarlett up at the end was lowkey sweet. Again, it was really short.

LA Knight v AJ Styles: That flip from AJ over the top rope was smooth. Both of them got in some good hits. That Avalanche German Suplex was actually insane. I was honestly rooting for AJ(who was looking like an absolute daddy btw😩) and I’m genuinely sad he lost. The end was lowkey stupid tho.

Randy Orton v Kevin Owens v Logan Paul: The start was genuinely funny, Randy getting on the back of the cart and riding along. Teaming up on Logan was a good idea. Also like, what did KO expect? Ofc Randy was gonna try to RKO him. They all got some good hits. I was NOT expecting IShowSpeed to be in the suit😭🤣! I was pulling for Randy but I still didn’t mind Logan retaining. Honestly he makes a good heel.

Bayley v Iyo Sky: Bayley’s wrestling gear looked great but Iyo looked lowkey drunk walking down(lol). They both gave us a good match tbh. Bayley was being an absolute beast, taking those hits pretty well. And I’m so happy that Bayley is finally getting what she deserves, she absolutely deserved that win!

Cody v Roman: The orchestra for Roman’s entrance was pretty cool honestly. (He looking fucking hot as ever btw🤭 also he stuck his tongue out so omfg, he cannot keep lookin like that😩). (He could call me a little bitch if he wanted🤞). Jimmy and Jey coming out to fight was pretty cool. I was just waiting for Solo to show up lol. John Cena and Rock coming out to face off with each other was great! I was hoping Dean was the one to come but Seth is alr ig. Roman choosing to hit Seth over Cody was a nice “Fuck you” for when they were in Shield. I actually cheered when Taker came out!!! Both Roman and Cody were absolute BEASTS during the match. I love Roman and I would’ve loved for him to win but it was for the best.

Overall: The matches were a bit short but holy shit was it worth it. The main event was amazing and so chaotic!!!

ramblings abt the au under the cut

ok so sandmans lead guitar, shocker is rhythm guitar and also electric banjo when the vibe fits and vocals (baritone/tenor range), electro plays bass (can play guitar but mains bass) and vocals (baritone with particularly good low growly notes), vulture gets the keys and can sing but doesn't do much aside from some backup here and there for the whole group (baritone/tenor but like, softer, good falsetto), rhinos drums and vocals (bass), and ock gets the mother fucking theremin he does also swap out for keys tho (but he's mostly a classical piano type)

their style is very all over the place but stick mostly to rock and similar feeling genres. each song tends to feel a bit more like one persons style in particular. they swap around vocals depending on the vibe with the more growly, heavy metal, screaming type vocals going to electro and rhino while shocker and vulture are more traditional ig with their singing. ock does most the composing and vulture majority of the lyric writing. they're in a constant state of breaking up, getting back together, and rearranging members

spider-band! ok so peter of guitar and vocals (tenor, he's the front man), gwen on drums and vocals (mezzo-soprano), and harry plays keys (cause cmon no way he wasn't required to take piano lessons or smth) and will do some backup vocals but like he's not a singer and he knows it. mj joins later on and plays bass, she joins in on the backup vocals (alto) when with the band but does have an insane voice, she does do plenty of solo work tho.

mysterio plays like, everything. but is most known for playing the electric violin cause cmon its a fuckin electric violin that shits cool. high baritone tenor (just like, imagine the phantom ok that was my only thought process with this decision). he did try to go into acting but for as great as he is with everyone on tech he's a little shit to work with if he's onstage and too cheesy for most directors. fucking ate as carlos in a production of legally blonde once tho. he works a lot with chameleon (somehow manages to do great hair, makeup, and costuming) and tinkerers some sorta techie but my tech experience is all theater and i know jack about instruments and shit

black cat imma say is an alto (listen i was an alto for a long while before i became a tenor) and like, i think poppy is a good point of reference for some of the vibes im getting for her. and in general a mix of like, sultry seductive type songs and straight up heavy metal.

Regarding The Me: I'm queer and weird about it! My gender is completely not my business, it's up to you to gender me. Also I'm an Artist and creator at heart, so i draw a lot, i like sculpting things with clay and foam, i love doing collages, i like playing my guitar and sometimes i write fucked up things for fun because it's Fun, tho i wouldn't call myself a writer. I'm diagnosed audhd. I'm weird and not in a cutesy way sometimes, but at least I'm funny about it i think!

I'm uhhhh a med student with a background in AG/rural sciences (vetmed + fishing) which ig is kinda funny. The funniest thing about me is I'm an honest to god fishing technician. I have a fucking diploma in fishing. I have no idea how or why, it still baffles me!! I have plenty thoughts on the ag/fishing field as a whole and a bit of experience with Some Things. I've worked in a few labs and written and published a few papers and I've wanted to be a Real Scientist when i grew up since i was a kid :)
