Guardian, sitting down at the ship's chair: Note to Self.
Ghost: are you okay? You're looking pale.
Guardian: Don't eat the weird fungi from the Derlict Leviathan. One, you see stuff, and two you feel it going through your insides.
Ghost, flabbergasted: What? You? You're allergic to that?
Guardian: wouldn't say allergic as in that way, but sure, the sentient fungi tunneling it's way out of my- *quickly runs to the ship's bathroom, again*
Ghost, adding that note to the report he was making: "Guardian expresses discomfort and illness is present when eating the Egregore fungal growth found on the Leviathan. Guardian notes the feeling of it crawling around in its insides."
(Side note but like don't just eat random mushrooms, they can cause massive issues with biochemistry in the brain and gut. Be smart and research. They are cool!)

would you believe me if i told you there's a plot where Mr. Sparkles pays to have himself mutated with algae DNA which means he can mind-control these knock-off fungi-Pokémon pets called Mayoi? because it's true and kind of epic!! 💚
