I imagine Jay and Cole in DR Season 2 being a reluctant duo. Where Jay (in his not really villain arc- but he’s not a good guy) hates that he has to team up with Cole, whereas Cole is happy to have Jay back but has to deal with the fact that this isn’t really his Jay anymore.

Dealing with Jay means going against most of his own morals.

I think of it like this:

“How are we going to deal with them?” Cole asks. “There’s too many to fight-“

“Kill them.” Jay replies casually, cocking a pistol.

“HUH?”

masochist yandere batfam, masochist batfam. repeat after me, masochist batfam for the win <333 HEAR ME OUT, i love me some masochistic characters, and i am writing them right now in a hurry. as much as i love causing angst into the reader, i love to do so creatively, and having characters who actually enjoy you biting, clawing, and punching at them, and watching everything take an unsettling turn is just mrgghh, that's so yum.

(and yes, this is totally because i had a phase where i wrote genshin characters as masochists, because there's nothing better than having characters who, instead of punishing you whenever you fight back, they'd turn into these freaks who'd eat up any injuries you cause them, sign me tf up for masochistic batfam, or literally any dc characters; justice league, superfam idc!!!)
