Ragna and Gohan need advices on what gifts to give their girlfriends Ruby and Yang. They go ask Jaune since he is both girls' closest friend outside their teammates. Jaune regrets giving them his phone number as they call him in the middle of the night.

(Bonus if both Ryuko and Satsuki are sleeping on both sides of his. Not needed but you choose on that.)

A loud ring erupted, stirring Jaune Arc from his slumber. The Huntsman groans out, slowly sitting up and grabbing a hold of his cell phone. His dark blue eyes stare down at the Caller ID, 'Jerkedge' clear on the screen. As he answers it, he takes note of the time...the middle of the night.

"Hell--," Jaune begins to answer, but then winces as a large shout erupted from the other side of the call.

"JAUNE! I NEED SOME GODDAMN ADVICE!" Ragna the Bloodedge shouted, which made the blonde's headache.

"Indoor voice," He hissed towards the caller, "Also...advice on what?"

"...What to get Ruby for Valentine's Day?" The Grim Reaper admits, which made the Huntsman pinch the bridge of his nose.

"You forgot, didn't you?" The wielder of Crocea Mors inquired with a tired groan.

"I was busy, smart ass," he defended himself, "I can't expect to remember every lil' thing on my goddamn plate!"

'I wonder what Ruby sees in ya,' Jaune thinks to himself. "Listen, Ragna, the ideal gift for Ruby is tools. Tools used to upgrade Crescent Rose."

"Really now?" He inquires, being silent for a moment; most likely thinking. "Okay, that track. Thanks, Jaune...also, sorry for yelling at ya and fucking up your sleep." And with that, Ragna hangs up, much to Jaune's relief.

Once again, his phone rings once more, much to his displeasure. Muttering profanities he wouldn't use around his mother or Adrian, Jaune reaches out for his cell phone once more. His ocean eyes stare at the Caller ID, 'Martial Nerdist'. He proceeds to answer the phone, letting a small exhale leave his lips.

"Hello," the blonde says to the recent caller, tapping his index finger against the back of his cell.

"Oh, hey, Jaune," Son Gohan greets, a tone of regret in his voice. "I'm so, so sorry for calling you at this hour."

"Lemme guess," the swordsman yawns, "you forgot a gift for Yang?"

"Yes, yes. I got too distracted with work and training, then my Dad dragged me into another world-saving situation and it slipped my mind. Kami, Yang's gonna kill me."

"Gohan," Jaune massages his face, "breathe, relax. Yang loves puns, as much as headache-inducing it is."

"Yeah," the martial artist, "I see where you're going with this. I suppose a handmade joke book is appropriate, plus more from the heart."

"There ya go," Jaune yawns once more, laying his head down. "quick study, Yang's lucky to have ya."

"Thanks, Jaune, I owe you one. Goodnight." And with that, Gohan hangs up as the Huntsman sets his phone down.

"Gods," he groans, closing his eyes and returning to slumber. "some people."

Three age periods of the Bastard himself!

Unripe to growing, Banana Eel was originally just a cursed child whom wandered from house to house- until he eventually found himself on the sea. He found work in it, though he often got into trouble for stealing stock and being a general nuisance. One run-in with pirates, and he was changed forever. Felt quite inspired by their greed and glory.

Then, a few decades in the future. Much more browned and ripened- partly by his age but much more by his curse. There was a side effect he discovered very late into his life, and it was that his body ripening (and further down, degrading/rotting) is dependent on how often he used it... and well, he uses it a lot.

His later years focus on getting rid of the curse, as it got hard to live the same way he did before.

Introducing my newest pirate OC: Red Reaper! A terrifying pirate who wants to pretty much destroy the navy and become the Pirate Lord!

His lore is still a HUGE WIP, but he's basically a huge, flaming undead lizard. His ship is called the "Bell Toll", and it's specially equipped for heavy "fire"power. I mean it quite literally has FLAMETHROWERS on the front so....(thank you Pirates of the Caribbean for that inspiration!) He's very VERY strong, but he has one weakness: the moonlight. Nobody knows why, but Red Reaper cannot stay under the light of the moon, or he'll quite literally just die. Perhaps that's why he always covers his ship in a blanket of smoke, so that the moonlight doesn't reach him.........

I wanted to join the bandwagon of artists making pirate OCs because it looked like SO MUCH FUN AAUUGH. Reaper's design was mainly inspired off of a Carolina Reaper pepper and Red Rackham from Tintin! I'm honestly so excited to make more content for him AUUGH
