[WIP] Decided to give another try at ref sheets after a while for intertwined opposites

Since Cookie Run will allow us to create our own Cookies in this new update, I rushed to make a splash art for my OC!! I created her back in 2022 but never got to post her because I had no proper reference sheet 💔

Anyways, here's Nacho Cheese Cookie!! I really hope to post more of her (or my other CRK OCs 🤭) in the future.

To summarize her lore, she's a daughter of Golden Cheese Cookie since I really wish she had one canonically... While her mother rules over the Golden City, Nacho Cheese watches over the Kingdom on the surface, where the Cheesebirds live. I wish I could talk more about her 😭

Man, trying to replicate the Cookie Run Kingdom gacha art style for this was a big task, but it paid off!

One final note, and then I promise I will go and do all the things I have to do today, but......I tend to side with the people who say that "being human" (with all its complexities, impulses, and shades of ineffable feeling) hasn't fundamentally changed in the last few millennia. The material conditions and basic, expected knowledge base absolutely have! I think it would be difficult to have a conversation, should I happen to bump into a woman from Neolithic Byblos at a party; I just don't think she's as truly alien to me as language/culture/history might make her seem.

Still, though....I do sort of envy people in the past sometimes. I think it's how much more laborious everything was, how much more time-consuming the daily routine would be. If I didn't live in the modern era, I wonder if I would have less time to---well, worry about living in the modern era.

I love how many layers purelily has. They're so cute and sweet together, they'd absolutely shower each other with gifts and compliments and affection. They're so angsty, with the whole Dark Enchantress angle and experiments during their school time. But one of my favourite aspects of it is how unhinged you can make them. Canon gives us two ridiculously smart teenagers who perform secret, morally dubious experiments instead of going to class and try to find out how to make the "perfect" being. Then they're adults and White Lily is evil– she’s bitter and angry and still really smart, but now she's got no limitations left. And Pure Vanilla's fighting her, trying desperately to be a good person while wanting to get through to her. Their dynamic is just,,, so complicated and fun. I love them.
