Dawit imagined each light as a line connecting his body with different possibilities of existence. Egregna confronts the audience as they walk through the first of three barriers set up on route through CN#3’s exhibition space - two pairs of feet dangling between steps on stairway bordered by vertical rods. The feet to the calf are soaked in vibrant paint, still wet and dripping unto the newspaper laid down underneath. Emphasising the legs, the artists make visible the journey of a long day’s work.
