Eh, it depends, credit cards and such? Yeah absolutely, complete scam, banks for holding money and wireless banking like card and such? Not exactly a scam but kinda at the same time, like debit cards are really useful, you can use the bank statements for the wireless payment instead of a receipt as proof of purchase, but like there is the whole portion of your money taken away for having it in the banks, but like they need to make some money in order to be able to function

And also as Milo has said, you don’t need to make up a shadow government to be mad at, you can just be mad at the actual government

so this idea takes place in a story where they bring Jason legally back to life and he makes public appearances. **Gotham conspiracy theory: That's not Jason Todd.** Jason Todd was a short teen with black hair amd blue eyes "Jason Todd" is 6' 5 muscle machine with half white hair and green-blue eyes. Who is this man that Bruce claims as his lost son? Is he somehow tricking or scamming the Wayne's? Or does Bruce know and his grief makes him pretend this scary man is his little boy

Even worse: Bruce paid off Lex Luthor for a clone of himself but it went horribly wrong and now he's passing it off as his undead son as some sort of bizarre extended grieving process only rich people go through. And Lex Luthor apparently doesn't like the clone either which is why he stopped going to Bruce's events...

I don’t know how to explain any more clearly that it doesn’t MATTER if it seems legitimate to you. You have got to fact check every single headline and post and claim on the left just like you need to do on the right.

The left is NOT immune to misinformation and rushed reporting. And the more emotionally polarizing or shocking the talking points, sound bytes, and headlines are, the worse it is and more frequently it happens.

Learn to verify through multiple independent sources. If you can’t do that, you can’t trust it.

If you have to wait extra hours for the real information to come through vetted channels—NOT just one individual somewhere everyone links to, and not just one single media source either, EVEN if it’s a major news network—thats just how it has to be. What news outside of genuine local disasters near you TRULY needs your outrage and post-sharing in the next hour specifically?

Misinformation works best by not seeming like misinformation and by fitting in with the rest of what you already expect to see. It doesn’t help anyone to not be able to recognize and avoid the stuff.

Ok how fucked would it be if the doorman purposely went after Mia because of Afton?

After trying to kill Afton in the conspiracy theorist ending, Afton has the doorman offed because it’s stated he knew too much. What if the doorman, knowing how dangerous it would be to go directly after the lead researcher, instead decided to target his fiancée, either out of the belief that she was also part of the project, or out of spite/vengeance against Afton, like “I know I can’t kill you, but I can hurt the person you claim to love.” In either case, it would explain why killing Mia also gets this ending, regardless of what way you believe Mia is, or isn’t tied to the project.

(Sorry this is so long I’m rambling, this ending got me thinking and I’m feeling angsty)

You're fine! I like angst too, and I prefer to balance it with other genres. I like this kind of a trope where a antagonist's morality pet is getting attacked by a protagonist and the protag will have to choose between her conscience or her goal.

I imagine if my OC Zoey chose to go after Mia and killed her as a revenge against the lead researcher who made her suffer through cruel examination, Afton would retaliate and make sure Zoey would suffer more before she dies. Then, he gets her DNA to make a doppelganger body where he can transfer Mia's mind and heart, and he and his future wife can be together again.

But to prevent any confusion, this is just one of my ideas. It's not a canon event, just one of my what if scenarios.
