I like the phrase count your lucky stars, because boy do I have a lot of them.

Sure, there’s been bad things, toxic friends, chronic pain, illnesses, fights and struggles but there’s been so much good as well, I go to college despite being a kid, I do well in tests and I’m happy with my results regardless, I’ve never had to worry about food or housing, I get to do a lot of the hobbies I like to do. I get to make things and follow my passions, my parents are great and they support me in everything I do, sure they might not gender me correctly but they do try and I know they care about me. I feel like I don’t actually appreciate all of these things until I have these little moments.

And a lot of those scenarios, specifically the toxic friend with the fights and struggles and worrying, lead to so much better things, if I didn’t really become friends with that toxic friend then one of the best things to ever happen to me wouldn’t’ve happened. And that’s my partner, Harvey.

Darling I love you so so much, and I’m so grateful for you and I feel like I don’t show my appreciation for you that much, but I do love you and I do care about you a lot and I really hope you know that because you are honestly without question the best part of my life.

Hiya, I made a dice tray for my boyfriend recently and I want to yap about it so here goes

Ok plans

This is the first draft of a plan (which I did with only a ruler trigonometry), its the base of the tray with a D20 pattern on it with a special M, in the middle

So after making a plan I went to my dad to ask if I can use the wood from the garage and he said sure but that I should use plastic instead, cue debate

Settled on plastic and got the broken bucket

Ignore the car, we have a lot of crap

Now trim it and get the amount we need

Now it’s circular so we need to flatten it out to use (I didn’t fully get it flattened but I got it a good bit), I used boiling water to soften the plastic and then my book press that I made (I’ll make a post about that soon) to flatten it into a sheet

Now we mark out the design and cut it, I’d show but I forgor to take picture, then we bend the plastic, I got help from my dad with this because I didn’t have the tools I usually would have because I wasn’t in school to do it, so we used a soldering iron, to bend the plastic

Now, onto the leather

Leather, is a bitch to work with, hate it with a passion but goddam is it good and hence I also love it.

This the bottom of the leather, the long strings are edges of the hexagon and the little ones are the hold it down so it doesn’t stick up off the leather.

Sorry to go in aside for a minute but, I had bought embroidery thread specifically for this and it just disappeared, I have no idea where it went but it was just gone, so I had to use wool instead

Make the rest of the pattern and now just put it together, I used hot glue for sticking the leather to the plastic and it didn’t turn out too bad

It could be better yes I know, and the glue is kinda annoying with bumps on the bottom but I’m pretty happy with how it it turned out so

I do not currently (it's natural at the moment) but I have had purple hair before and I *Loved* it

Next up on my bucket list is an embre from my natural hair to a dark forest green
