Yippee! December is almost here! That means finals. Eugh. Anywho, I watched a play-through of the Mad Time Party game? That was something. Also I tried some digital painting! Not sure how I like how it turned out, but it goes on the doodle pile nonetheless!

Hello I stumbled across your profile and I just say I love your art style! I've gotta ask, how'd your develop it? And do you have any advice for someone who can't decide what they want their art to look like?
Thank you so much!
To be entirely honest, I don't feel like I truly "developed" my style. I feel a lot more like I finally let myself draw it! But I am incredibly deliberate with my work, and I do have clear tendencies and preferences... So I'll do my best to explain how I got to where I am now as an artist.
It's important to remember that "style" is something of a nebulous concept. It changes with you as you grow as a person, and most artists can work in and emulate many art styles! Art really is a form of communication with yourself, and your "style" is a reflection of the tendencies and preferences you have. My art does not look how it looked 5 years ago, and my art will look different 5 years from now too. I've changed, and my art reflects that!
(2012, 2018, 2023; two pieces I remember being incredibly proud of and considered my best work up til that point, and then my most recent piece)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What you need to do, as everyone will tell you, is study the fundamentals (anatomy, perspective, form and structure, lighting and shadow, color, and composition) so you have the proper tools to make the most informed decisions possible about your art, and so you can deliberately break or follow rules as you please for your desired effect. I know it sounds silly to learn rules if you're not gonna be following them anyways, but they help you be much more consistent and intentional! More knowledge is NEVER a bad thing to have!
However, I know it's a bit demoralizing to just be told to study fundamentals. Everyone knows you're supposed to do that, but it takes YEARS to learn, and people want their art to feel how they want it to now (which is very very very normal to want!)
So on that front, I have 2 follow up suggestions that I personally find helpful (of course, everyone is different, so it's not like this is the only way to learn! But, if it resonates with you, it might mean it will work for you too.)
1: Separate study from application
I believe this is beneficial for a few reasons:
If the goal of every piece is learning, it can become frustrating, overwhelming, and boring
It's harder to self critique when there are multiple variables to investigate. I like to study one fundamental at a time
Study (usually) works best with a large quantity of output, whereas application of knowledge (finished pieces) is often more satisfying and effective when you get to take your time
Deliberate practical application of what you've learned in a finished piece helps cement the learning in your mind, and also lets you get satisfying finished pieces with noticeable improvement after a good study session!
I've found that keeping these things separate helps me improve faster and more deliberately, and it takes a lot of the pressure off of both aspects! I'm not worried about my studies looking beautiful, they're just to learn! And I don't feel pressured to critique my finished pieces, cause they're just for fun and to make something pretty. I personally find this helps me have a much healthier relationship with my art.
When studying, copy! Copy things as best as you can, all the time. It gives you something to compare to for self critique (and of course, if you're copying someone else's work and you share the study, ALWAYS give credit, share the original, and say it was for study.) In application, don't copy: reference. Make it yours!
2: Let yourself do the things that feel "easy" or like "cheating"
This one is simpler: nothing in art is easy.
If something feels easy to you, most of the time it's not because it's actually any easier... It's because it's part of your natural tendencies and preferences! This took me forever to realize, but as long as you're actually doing some study, then you're learning. You don't need to learn All The Time. When you're doing the "application" portion, you should let yourself do whatever is actually the most fun and feels easiest! This is where your style will start to come through, and where you get to learn about yourself. Take the pressure off, and have fun!!!
The only cheating in art is theft. If you're not stealing, then it's allowed!
My whole life (and yes, still!) I'd get regular criticism about both my style and my subject matter. You will too. You'll see a thousand different styles, and a hundred different things to admire in each. Your heart will ache that you don't draw like others do.
But art is a form of communication with yourself. It's like your voice, or your accent; just something that's a part of you! It can be fun to mimic others', but when you sit to have a conversation you speak naturally. (I know some people want to and do change their voice, but this is a metaphor and metaphors aren't perfect)
Don't stress so much about what you want your art to look like, especially if you're not sure. There's a lot of value to be had in constant experimentation, I think it'd be rather boring to only draw one style the rest of my life. What I draw is what I want to see, right now, for who I am now! It's a part of me and comes naturally, if I let it!
I hope this helps!

Updates on the Health Department
Been a while since I last updated on how things are going.
Last year my pain and fatigue was finally explained with the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, a disturbance in the nervous system that still hasn’t been fully explained to this day, on what it comes of.
I was written up to see an expert, but was half a year’s wait for my appointment. Last week I finally get to meet the specialist and put under an hour of interview to better pinpoint the details on my specific case.
Great doctor, was very professional but also very engaged and caring through the whole talk, and even praised me for already doing my own research and thoughts on my condition to best answer her questions, so the interview didn’t had to go over time to be completed.
After that was an hour of lecturing me about the conclusion from the interview, on the details for my case of fibromyalgia specifically. She was very thorough and explained in great detail which direction we would be going for treatment and why, including telling me what would not be done and why.
Different options were given for me to consider and then we’ll work from there.
New waiting lists to see a physiotherapist and a psychologist, both specialized in the field of BDS (Bodily Distress Syndrome) that’s the umbrella that covers things like fibromyalgia too.
A strict description of how to change my daily life and how long I’m to expect to go as soft as possible with hope that my body will recover enough to start improving again. Aim is to keep me working at my job still, but with more focus on my limits than what I’ve managed so far.
Gonna talk to my GP to get on part time sick leave, to cut my daily hours without losing my full wage, to see less everyday at work might keep me active without suffering my the lash back of my body collapsing from fatigue. If it works we’ll have a good case to convince the state to put me on the flexjob program, instead of sick leave, to make it more easy for my workplace to work around.
Aim is to cut down my full sick days by keep my active enough while rested more than I usually allow myself. And remove the stress from worrying about my job security. Denmark is very focused on keeping people with chronic illness or handicaps on the job market because it shows a better effect on the health in the long run, rather than just leave people with conditions stuck at home doing nothing.
I’m told that I should expect the full course of treatment to take at least 1-2 years if done right. 50% usually feel a better life quality and 25% even gets better to meet the normal for those not dealing with chronic illness. That’ll be the aim, joining those numbers and get a good life going. Maybe even feel cured one day, just from balancing my body right.
But only time will tell, only just started. And it’s going to be slow. I had already slowed down but the specialist made it clear I hadn’t slowed down enough, why I kept having more and more sickdays.
I’ve sat down with my boss at work to insure my workplace are informed on what my needs are and what tools they’ll have access to too, to not suffer a loss from my inability to work full time. Luckily he’s made it very clear that the company recognizes they rather keep me than let me go for inconvenience. I’m one of the most experienced member of our department with the most training in our specific field, and the one with most patience to train up new workers. So that’s a nice boost to know they still see me as valuable enough to keep.
Seeing me taken aside to talk to the boss, a coworker afterwards all worried took me aside to ask if it had been a talk about getting fired. That absolute relief on his face when I assured it was the other way around, me having a talk on the conditions to keep me working, was heart warming. To know boss and coworkers alike just want to keep me even if I can’t keep up the pace anymore that I used to.
Very welcome boosts to my self esteem and positive thinking, which I’ll need to continue battling this illness. Is not going to turn over night, I have a battle ahead of me of just trying to rewire my own way of thinking to stop pushing myself too hard.
I just hope to get enough energy back that I can draw more consistently again. Just these last couple of days I’ve had enough fatigue to make it too difficult to hold a pencil steady long enough to draw a proper piece. I’m very eager whenever I have energy long enough to draw a full piece, as art as my hobby means so much to me.
Why I still don’t open for commissions to new clients, it would just make me stress myself unnecessarily if I can’t get to the wanted productivity.
But enough rambling for now, already written a wall of text as is.
Been a long journey with still plenty more ahead of me to come.
Thanks for getting this far in this long tangent on my health X3;

My apologies, another person in your replies said “Anon you realize that exact logic is and HAS been used to justify the deliberate misgendering of trans people, right” and I thought it was you. Anyhow, there is no reason to get so nasty, I’m just asking you to explain your thoughts on this since you frequently post in the tags with your opinions. Being a “boy” or a “girl” is a social role, not necessarily a gender. So, yeah, it’s possible to take on a different gender role than the one associated with your gender. Since roles are often conflated with gender, they tend to be used interchangeably. People who are PNC often use “wrong” pronouns to express their complicated relationship with gender identity. Aside from this, some people use certain pronouns for themselves because they simply enjoy them, which is their own prerogative. So, then, you’re against being PNC because 1) it’s too complicated for you personally to process and that is somehow deserving of your vitriol and 2) you feel that English grammar and syntax rules are more important than respecting people’s referential language? How is challenging language any different than challenging gender stereotypes, as one would do being GNC? Do you prioritize your comfort over the dignity of other transgender people, or do you seriously think that language is sacred? Words are created all the time and definitions change with their usage. It sounds that rather than even attempt to accommodate your brethren, you would prefer to latch on to the anti-PNC position so you have some excuse to not challenge your notions of “gendered” language. As a person with an auditory processing disorder myself that impacts my life greatly, that is not an excuse for you not to better yourself, even if it is difficult for you. Other people do not deserve your anger for simply existing with pronouns that challenging the status quo. If you *definitively and actively know* a person’s pronouns are contrary to their appearance or identity and you refuse to even try to refer to them properly, that is not an issue with processing, but with conflating pronouns with gender identity at the best and willfully choosing to disrespect them at the worst. That can’t be explained away by saying you have a processing disorder. Do not attempt to paint being PNC as ableist because you are unwilling to challenge your deep-seeded, actively obsolescent beliefs. Having a processing disorder makes people rely on context. If you are communicating with or about someone whose pronouns you know, PNC or otherwise, you have been provided the context. You are choosing to either ignore it for your own comfort and a lack of desire to improve yourself or because you think language is more important than people. If I’m wrong, prove it.
i didnt mean to get nasty i just dnt have a good concept of whats too mean n stuff.
i love that you consistently add more to what i am saying and look to deep into it to paint me as a bad person but i will get to that later. its hard to pay attention to one thing at a time but i will try 2 go in order.
being a boy or girl isnt a social role,, its just being a girl or boy?? like a kid female n kid male like. thats not a role thts a fucking.. way to describe someones gender when theyre a kid?? like i cannot even understand why i have to say that. wtf do u think being a girl/boy is?? its a way to describe someones gender, like pronouns. not a role or gender expression.
im not against it because its too complicated or that i want to disrespect ppls pronouns or something like that you want to put into my mouth. challenging a language is different than challenging gender rules because language was made with a purpose and one that still matters today. gender roles never served a solid purpose, them getting removed doesn't matter at all.
this is really pointless because youre going to keep refusing to recognize that language is important and that pronouns aren't something that you just use to make yourself happy, they are a tool in language that serve two singular purposes. to replace a name. and to describe the person in a gendered way. getting rid of gender should just mean getting rid of pronouns all together because they are pointless without any description of the person that they are being used for. because then you cant fucking tell who they're talking about at all. this is why robots struggle with pronouns :)
its funny to me that you add "appearance" to "identity" as if 1. they match. 2. that i at all ever said they have to watch appearance. if you didnt know im NOT PASSING. 3. as if appearance matters <3
this isnt about me wanting to be rude or not challenge gender roles or anything, im a very gnc man myself. this is about the fact that pronouns only real purpose is to tell you what gender someone is, not if they're masculine or feminine or just like the sound of them. this is why getting called "she/her" makes the majority trans men dysphoric, but why wearing dresses or having traditionally feminine roles won't make the majority of them dysphoric.
you clearly aren't listening to what im saying so i dont see why you insist on replying and putting things in my mouth from finding excuses like "someone else said it" to whatever youre going to make for trying to say i just dont like people who r pnc and am using processing an an excuse, instead of an example of why its important this time.
language isnt more important than people, but people can not exist as is without a way of communicating. trying to tear down communication because you dont like its rules just make what it is to be human harder to be. i cannot be myself to anyone else if there is no words to describe who i am in a strictly male or unrelated sense. there's a difference verison of you to every person you know, and you can't make it remotely accurate without the words to express it.

i related to effy an unhealthy amount when i was only 13 when i first watched it, but at the time i wasnt doing drugs, homewrecking, doing anything that young lol. however i was extremely mentally ill but undiagnosed, and so confused but i found solace in effys character because of how similar i felt to her. flashforward to being 20 now and im a nic addict/borderline drug and alcohol addict that forgets to take my prescribed antidepressants and antipsychotics. i cant tell you how many events of effys life have mirrored mine now 7 years later, both the pretty but mostly the ugly. it all feels like a joke to me, and the thing is of course it wasnt effy the fictional character that did this to me, it was the fact that i was genetically and epically set up to do this to me for as long as i existed and i saw myself in her too young. everyone ive ever met and started to befriend has fallen in love with me, has found me beautiful, and then seen my flaws and hated me even if they didnt tell me to my face. ive been a horrible friend and partner and im flighty and unreliable and destructive. i never saw effy, or a person like effy, find a happy ending and im afraid even when im at my manic highs i will never find a lasting happiness and will always accidentally self sabotage until i die. what im trying to ask is, how can i save me? i know its dumb to ask a random tumblr user but ive been following this blog since i was 13-14 and since you know effy through and through, you might know a little about me. its a long shot. (i’d also like to say this isnt a cry for help and im safe/not actively suicidal so i dont want you to feel like theres any pressure like that, but i did use this ask box as a free therapy session.)
I'm a bit biased, but I don't think there's anything wrong with asking a random Tumblr user at all. I'm happy to be a free therapy session when you need one, and I'm really touched that you've trusted me with your thoughts and feelings for so long. Hopefully I've been some help over the years 😆
Coping with mental illness can be really, really hard, but the good news is that with the right tools and support system, you can absolutely recover. It sounds like you already have a psychiatrist in your life, which is a great start. If you've having trouble remembering to take your medication, it might help to set calendar reminders on your phone, set up text prompts to remind you to take your pills, to link taking your pills with something else you do every day (like brushing your teeth or eating breakfast), or to reward yourself for taking your medication (for example, putting a piece of candy in your pill box that you can eat after taking your pill).
If you don't have one already, a therapist might also be a good idea. It can take a while to find the right therapist for you, so schedule a few appointments and see which therapist you "click" with. A therapist can help you work through any reluctance you might have towards taking you medications, as well as helping you come up with day to day strategies that help you achieve your goals and helping you work through the beliefs that you hold about yourself and the world that may be holding you back.
Moving on to talking about addiction for a bit. I strongly believe that addiction doesn't come from some type of inherent lack of willpower or moral failing, or even really the drug itself. It's the need to escape reality. And that's actually supported by scientific literature; most famously, the Rat Park experiment by Bruce K Alexander. Practically, we've seen that same thing in the aftermath of Portugal's decision to decriminalize all drugs. They took the money they were using to keep drug users in prison, and instead invested that money into reconnecting people who struggle with addiction to society. Their goal was to make sure that every person who struggles with addiction has a reason to get up in the morning and has a support system within the wider society. And it actually worked- injection drug use is down 50%, overdoses and HIV infections have massively decreased, and rates of addiction decreased as well. It's much easier to quit when you have something motivating you to keep going.
Why am I telling you all of this? I guess what I'm trying to get at is in order to recover from addiction, I think first people need to understand what the reality is that they're trying to escape. What can be done about those issues? Who's in your corner trying to support you, even if they're not doing the best job at it? Where else can you get the social support you might need? What are you passionate about? What would make it feel worth it to get up in the morning? I think instead of focusing on the drugs, or the alcohol, or the cigarettes, maybe we should focus on solving the root problems that make those attractive options. That's one of the reasons a therapist is a really good idea; they can help you figure out what those root problems are, and provide resources and tools to help you fix those problems.
In terms of practical, do it yourself advice for dealing with addiction, there are a couple things you might try. I did a whole post on evidence-based ways to set goals and follow through on them here, so I won't rehash it in this post, but basically:
Try to set goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time bound. For you, this might be something like "My goal is to have only one drink a day (measurable and achievable) for week (time bound) so that I can be more reliable for my friends (relevant)".
Instead of trying to quit something, replace it with something else. For example, "when I feel like smoking, I'm going to do ten minutes of learning Korean instead". Learning something new is easier and more exciting, and so new habits are easier to maintain that breaking old ones. Find a new hobby that you've always wanted to do or that's exciting to you, and try to focus your energies on that to distract yourself.
Identify any obstacles (such as environmental triggers) that you might run into, and develop contingency plans for working around them. This might be something like, "when I drink coffee in the morning, I want to smoke, so I'm going to switch to tea instead." If you can, get rid of all environmental triggers that might remind you of your addiction or trigger a craving.
Get someone else involved. Tell a friend about your goal and have them check up on you. Your fear of disappointing them will help you stay on track.
Put money on the line. Give money to a friend with the understanding that you'll get it back at a set date if you've achieved the goal you set. Tell your friend that if you fail, they should donate the money to a group or cause you really hate.
Write down the reasons you want to quit, and put them somewhere you know you'll see them. Whenever you want to engage in an addiction behavior, read through that list first.
For bonus points, add to that list your contingency plan for when you want to engage in an addiction behavior. These may include ways to redirect your attention or distract yourself until the craving passes.
76% of people who wrote down their goals, actions and provided weekly progress to a friend successfully achieved their goals.
You might also try an addiction recovery app, such as these, or doing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy worksheets on your own if you can't access a therapist right now.
There are also some things you can try in order to improve your mood. As much as I hate that this is true, consistent exercise has a huge impact on mood. If you can, try taking a 20 minute walk outside, 3 times a week. Other (boring) things, like making sure you're getting 7-9 hours of sleep a night and eating regularly, can also make a big difference in mood. Some of you might know that I'm a little bit obsessed with the free Coursera class "The Science of Well-Being". It has a lot of great evidence-based tips and tricks for how to build happiness, and I highly recommend it if you're trying to live a happier life. These include things like journaling, meditating, noting things that you're grateful for, helping other people, and having regular social interactions.
Finally, a few philosophical thoughts. One of the Four Noble Truths in Buddhism is dukkha. Basically, this is the idea that suffering is an innate characteristic of existence in our world. When I was younger, I never liked this concept, but I think now I kind of get it. It's impossible to be happy 100% of the time, and that shouldn't be our goal. Suffering is the comparison by which our lives gain meaning. But we can do our best to minimize our suffering and the suffering of others, and ride the wave of suffering when it does come. And each time we ride that wave, we can learn techniques to manage it a little bit better, and to make it easier the next time. We will sometimes sabotage ourselves out of fear, but we can learn how to do it less frequently and for the consequences to be less dire. We can learn how to forgive ourselves for our flaws and what we've done in the past, and learn from those mistakes so we don't do them again in the future. It's also okay to backslide, to struggle even after you've made progress. You're never back where you started, because you've always learned more and experienced more.
I know I've thrown kind of a lot at you in this post, and I don't expect you to try all of it or for all of it to work, but hopefully something in there is helpful to you. You can get through this. You can save yourself, but please, also remember to let others help save you. You don't need to do this on your own. And just like I have been since you were 13, I'm always here to give a free therapy session and to lend my support ❤️❤️❤️

A Step-by-Step SEO Guide for Dentists in 2021
A Step-by-Step SEO Guide for Dentists in 2021
This article is a really simple step-by-step guide for dentists from Experdent. Let's begin
What is Dental SEO Dental SEO is the optimization of your website so that it is easy for you to be found by patients online when they search for dental treatment or any service that you offer. In other words, SEO for dentists is to make their dental office rank higher in Google or Bing or Yahoo search results. Do people go to page-2 of Google? Yes, people do go to page-2 of Google. However, this is quite seldom. Over 70% of searchers will click on something that falls in the first five results on a Google page. And almost 90% will click on something on page-1. The rest may likely refine their search and search again rather than go to page-2.
Is SEO Digital Marketing? SEO is the digital equivalent of traditional inbound marketing. Let us explain: While many activities qualify as digital marketing, SEO is the foundation for all digital marketing processes. Conversely, a weak SEO can result in massive marketing expenditure to get results online. SEO builds cred for you with search engines. Think of it as a virtuous loop. The better the SEO for a website, the higher it will rank in search results. The higher it ranks in search results, the more people will click on it. The more people click on a consequence, this tells Google/Bing or any other search engine that yours is a quality website, and therefore the search engines push up the rank of your website even further. A high-ranking site on Google search, therefore, becomes a magnet for visitors. More visitors will lead to more conversions in any marketing funnel, i.e., more people becoming dental office patients.
Does SEO improve the visitor experience on your website? The foundation of SEO is in Technical SEO. Let's unpack that: SEO work for any quality SEO services business starts with a detailed website audit. This audit looks to fix these key elements that go into user experience: - Site Speed - Performance on Mobile - Intuitive navigation - Presence of Metadata including alt tags for images - Presence of appropriate keywords on pages - Submission of sitemaps to search engines In addition, SEO looks for compelling content and quality images and video to create an engaging experience for the visitor to a website. Through this process, technical SEO helps improve user experience while improving the website for search engines to crawl.
Is SEO advertising? The output of SEO is greater visibility for your content for the people who are searching for that content Let's say you live in downtown Toronto and you have a toothache. You will likely open up your computer or your smartphone and search something like this: - Family Dentist in downtown Toronto or - Dentist for a toothache or - Best dentist in Toronto or if its evening or the weekend - Dentist in Toronto open today If your website is optimized for SEO and contains this information (preferably in the schema), then your visitors may see your website featured on page-1 of Google. Thus, SEO is advertising by another means. Content that ranks is the best advertising because research has repeatedly shown that people will click on an organic link that appears more authentic. Research by Wordstream.com shows that "Clicks on paid search listings beat out organic clicks by nearly a 2:1 margin for keywords with high commercial intent in the US. In other words, 64.6% of people click on Google Ads when they are looking to buy an item online!" And here is the kicker - When you run an ad campaign, you get results only while the campaign is running and you are paying for clicks on your ad. In the case of SEO, however, you continue to get results for a long time. Yes, if you don't continuously optimize your website for SEO, your Search Rankings will eventually begin to drop. Why is that, you ask? Simply because your neighbours and competitors will not have stopped, they will continue improving and scaling their websites, and as a consequence, Google will keep pulling other websites over yours.
On-Page optimization Getting Google to like your website and show it on page-1 of its search results means that you need to bring quality to your pages and make them valuable and delightful for your visitors. Remember that the best websites are built for real visitors and not for search engines. The key elements that SEO helps you improve on-page are: - The quality of content on its page and its layout and organization for easy flow. The presence of images and video. - Headlines, subheadings are identified by Headline tags. For example, a page should ideally only have one headline tagged with an H1 tag. Sub headlines can go to H2 or H3 tags. Sub-sub headlines can go to H4, H5, and even H6 tags. - Metadata and descriptions that encourage clickthrough. This is the data that search engines showcase your pages within search results. - The amount of content on the page. Although the jury is still out on the length of an ideal article for Google to show it on page-1, research shows somewhere between 1000 and 1500 words. This does not mean that a page with 5000 words will consistently rank higher than a page with 1000 words. However, it does mean that when choosing between 2 pages that are otherwise identical in quality of content, Google will likely choose to showcase the page with more content in a higher position. - The number of pages on your website (remember, more is not always better). - The freshness of your content etc.
Off-Page optimization The links that other sites on the internet provide your website are essentially treated like votes. The larger the number of websites linking to your website or providing you with backlinks, the larger the number of votes for your website. This quantity of links helps Google decide where to rank your website. That said, all backlinks are not born equal. For example, a link from a higher ranking website carries more value than a brand new one-page website. Some backlinks can be toxic and be damaging for your website's rank on Google. (More on toxic backlinks and how to get rid of those in a future article). The list for how off-page links create value for you can be bullet-pointed as follows: - Citations or directory listings - In context, backlinks from articles or guest blogs - is the link reciprocal - this practice has the potential to reduce the value of the link received - The nature of the website that the link comes from: i.e., is the website in a related space? A link from a gambling website for a dentist is not likely to count as useful. - Keywords in anchor text could indicate that the link has been sourced or purchased. The best links have anchor text that is just the URL of your website or "read more" or "click here," etc.
Technical SEO We have mentioned earlier that Technical SEO is the foundation of SEO for a website. The critical elements of the work done under technical SEO are - Identification and removal of Crawl errors. - Check if your website is secure - check for HTTPS status - Check if XML sitemaps exist & if they have been submitted to major search engines - Check and improve Site Load time - Check whether the site is mobile friendly and upgrade as needed - Check and optimize robots.txt files - Check for keyword cannibalization and edit as needed - Check and improve site metadata, including image alt tags - Check for broken links and eliminate them or apply a 301 redirect that passes full link equity (ranking power) to the redirected page.
Yoast, a company that provides an extremely popular SEO plugin for Wordpress websites, in addition talks about the need for technical SEO to ensure that there is no duplicate content, nor are there any dead links in the website.
As a dentist, how do I build a high-quality website myself While we would recommend that you hire an experienced web developer to help develop or update your dental website, you could build a workable website quite easily as a DIY project There are many website development tools available, and you could choose between them for your DIY project. Three major platforms that you could use are: - WordPress - Squarespace - Wix WordPress will need the most significant amount of expertise, while both Squarespace and Wix use drag and drop functionality for you to build something quickly. There is an argument between SEOs about whether or not SEO is easier to do on WordPress versus Wix or Squarespace. However, what is clear is that WordPress enjoys a much larger ecosystem which gives you access to better tools and developers than does any other website builder. According to Search Engine Journal "WordPress content management system is used by 39.5% of all sites on the web."
Choose a reliable & high-quality hosting company If you go with Wix or Squarespace, the hosting is with the website builder's platform. If you build with WordPress or any other website builder platform, you will need to choose a high-quality, fast, and secure hosting service. Some of the major hosting services that you could consider are: - Amazon Web Services - Bluehost - Godaddy - WPengine - Siteground - Hostgator etc. There are quite literally hundreds of hosting companies for you to choose from. Choose a hosting service that has close to 100% uptime, which has enough bandwidth for your clients to visit without the speed of your website going down. Over and above that, the hosting service should have robust security and offer you a service of backups so that if your website gets damaged or hacked, they can put back the site in a matter of minutes.
How do you do keyword research? As a dentist, you have a scarcity of time. Still, given that you have decided to build a DIY website, you need to ensure that you do keyword research so that Google recognizes your content to contain the answers your future patients or clients are searching for. Some of the tools that you could use for keyword research are: - Google Keyword planner - this is a free tool - Semrush/Ahrefs/Moz - these are paid tools but will help you in getting a solid grounding of keywords
Submit your site to Google Once your website is ready, make sure to create your presence and submit it to the search engine with the following tools: - Google My Business - Google Maps - Bing Places - Yahoo Small business - Unfortunately, this tends to work only in the US unless you subscribe to some listing services.
Google Tools to monitor your website performance These tools will help you gauge the performance of your website traffic and help you find points of strengths and weaknesses on your website - Google Search Console - Google Analytics - Google Page Speed Insights
List yourself on review sites. While the best website for reviews that self selects itself is your Google my business (GMB) page. You would also find reviews very helpful from the following websites. - Facebook - Yelp - RateMyMD - Healthgrades
List your practice in online directories. A presence in online directories is a crucial aspect of SEO for any business. You should list your dental practice in as many relevant directories as possible. There is a wide variety of directories available, and you should choose well. Your choices will be along the lines of: - Local yellow pages or equivalent - Directories for your town or province - Directories for Dentists or healthcare providers - Directories of local chambers of commerce or industry organizations
Is your Dental SEO strategy working? Once you have done all this work, you will need to ask how you find out if your dental strategy is working? To get this answer, you will need to check for some of the following: - Website traffic - this is the first and foremost indicator of performance - Ranking keywords - What is the page and rank of each of the keywords you believe to be vital. And, of course, how do these keyword ranks change over time. - Reviews - the number of reviews and the grade you get on your reviews is outside SEO in a technical sense. However, reviews create a very favourable feedback loop for search engines. Generally speaking, a large number of reviews will push a website up in ranking.
How do you find how you rank without subscribing to expensive SEO tools? If you check your keywords using your computer, the computer will respond based on your search history, thereby potentially fooling you into thinking that your rank has improved. Instead, there is a simple trick to finding how you rank for your target keywords. First, open an "incognito" session in a browser such as Chrome and then search for your keyword. If you don't find it on page-1, go to page-2 continue until you find it. Of course, if you don't rank even on page-10, then functionally, you don't rank for that keyword.

Everything You Need to Know About Termite Treatment
One inquiry we're posed to a great deal; would i be able to treat termites myself? What do I have to think about DIY termite treatment? What amount of skill do I have to do my own termite control? Where do I at any point start? In spite of prevalent thinking, treating these awful irritations yourself can be simpler than you might suspect. Indeed, with a little exploration, the legitimate items, a brief period and the correct procedure, DIY termite control can be an extraordinary choice for any mortgage holder, paying little mind to encounter level.
Would it be a good idea for me to do the Job Myself?
This is one we hear a ton and to be perfectly honest, one that gets asked in many home improvement fields. It doesn't make any difference in case you're treating termites or doing other home enhancements, the principal thing you need to survey is on the off chance that you have the skill, instruments and goal to accomplish your own work. Despite the work, you need to comprehend the measure of work in front of you before you take on any home improvement or termite treatment work. In the event that you can't imagine the entirety of the means engaged with the work, it could be ideal to enlist an expert, notwithstanding; in case you're alright with the means in question, put it all on the line!
 Is there an invasion?
Deciding the presence and seriousness of termites is the initial step to the DIY termite treatment work. You should check the inside and outside of your home for indications of termites. The data you learn from this brief advance will assist you with deciding whether you will call an expert. In the event that you see over the top termite tubes or decayed wood in and around the home, a DIY undertaking might be a long and drawn-out task. In the event that you don't see indications of termites, or signs are negligible, deterrent termite treatment might be the lone thing you need. This interaction can be quite simple with a couple of helpful hints.
Safeguard Termite Control - Pick up the accompanying:
 1. Termite Baiting Systems
Generally talking, deterrent termite control is one of the simpler DIY termite treatment choices. This can be cultivated with a couple over-the-counter items and a couple of long periods of moderate work. Search the term Termite Baiting System in Google to discover an assortment of organizations that sell termite items over the web. Apply your postal division to the pursuit and you may track down a nearby organization that offers similar items (not accessible in all spaces). We recommend an Advanced Termite Baiting System to be your favored termite treatment technique. These goading frameworks will help apply a deterrent measure to your property for as long as a year. You can discover comparative termite bedeviling frameworks at your nearby home improvement store in any case; these will in general be less viable than the high level rendition. The best termite bedeviling frameworks we've discovered expense somewhere in the range of 8 to 15 dollars. Each teasing framework will reveal to you precisely the number of units you need to cover your property. These goading frameworks ought to be checked consistently to guarantee they stay powerful around your home.
Do-It-Yourself Termite Treatment (further developed; requires some home improvement abilities) - Pick up the accompanying:
 1. 1/2 inch by 18 inch long solid boring tool
2. Mallet Drill
3. Termite Chemicals
4. Substance Sprayer or pipe (power sprayer liked)
5. Solid fix filler
6. Clay blade
Further developed DIY termite killing strategies might be required relying upon the seriousness of your present pervasion. These procedures are further developed and require greater association however the data beneath will help you tackle the work. As expressed over, another Google look for Termite Treatment Chemicals will furnish you with a rundown of nearby and online retailers. The measure of synthetic substances you need will rely upon the size of your property. The synthetic substances you discover will give you a gauge. As far as we can tell, purchase more than you might suspect you need; it never damages to try too hard. The strategy you're going to utilize will make fluid compound boundary around your home so termites are murdered when they head back underground.
Taking your drill and boring tool, you'll need to penetrate openings around 4 inches from the house, dispersed 12 inches separated. At the point when you're set, you'll basically have penetrated openings around the whole edge of your home (and inside the carport), all dispersed around 12 inches separated. Utilizing your powerful sprayer, power as much substance in each opening as the opening will permit. Keep in mind, more is better in this progression. Whenever you've added synthetic substances to each opening around your home, you'll need to fix the openings with the solid fix blend and your clay blade. The measure of time it takes for this interaction shifts relying upon the size and openness of your property's edge. Adding termite trap stations around your home notwithstanding the above methods is a successful method to execute and forestall termites.
Different Things You'll Want to Consider
There are a couple of things you'll need to consider prior to hopping straight into doing termite treatment yourself. The seriousness of your invasion is a critical segment of this investigation, as it gives you the data you'll have to decide cost (measure of termite control items to purchase) and time related with the venture ahead. Besides, in the occasion you need documentation that termite medicines have been done on your property, DIY may not be for you. In case you're selling your home and the agreement requires termite treatment to be finished before the deal, just and proficient termite organization can give you what you need. In any case, subsequent to perusing the above advances and you've confirmed that you're fit and able to do the work yourself, this can be an extraordinary method to set aside cash and give yourself a success against these wood-annihilating bugs!

Advice I’ve found helpful:
1. For ‘easier’ immersion materials, pick things you have some familiarity already with. So: shows/books you’ve already read in your native language, or watched/read in the target language with some kind of context (seen subs before in your native language, a summary, you’ve looked up lots of words etc). I definitely find immersing in stuff I have some context for much easier, because at least sometimes I can place what certain unknown words mean/what is going on in the plot, even when I don’t actually ‘know’ all the words.
Personally: I like using some absolutely new unknown materials for immersion, just because I like to test how much I’ve ‘improved’ with something I’m sure I have nothing to rely on ahead of time except for what I have learned. But when I’m immersing with something I want to find more comfortable/easier to immerse with, its easier for me to use things I’m already familiar with - otherwise I have to pick graded material/learner materials instead of using target language native materials.
2. Once you find some study materials that work for you, stick to them. Specifically if they progressively teach new stuff - like textbooks, grammar guides, apps with lessons, teaching podcasts, flashcards that add grammar points/new words, etc. Anything that builds up knowledge over time.
I used to have a bad habit of switching these kinds of materials often, and would keep ‘restarting’ myself in beginner materials, when really I should have been moving on and studying new things. I have found that even if my ‘book/guide/tool’ is imperfect, if I stick to it then I make more progress and improve at a more dependable rate.
3. For immersion material, feel free to pursue things based on interest. You don’t have to finish one material before moving to the next.
I’ve noticed that I tend to get demotivated or disinterested sometimes in materials (which happens in english with my hobbies anyway too), and its definitely better for me to just move to new material that’s interesting me in the moment (so a new show, new story, new audio). I’ve found that as long as its target language native material, its all exposing me to common things I should review, and new things I ought to pick up/learn, so regardless of the material its going to challenge me and solidify what I’ve studied already and teach me new things. Meanwhile... graded readers would fall into point 2 -  but with a special caveat - if the graded reader has a Subject i’m not interested in, I need to just switch to a new novel at a HIGHER difficulty level at a certain point. Basically - regardless of if I stick to a graded reader all the way through, or if I drop it and move to another, once I’m very comfortable with that reading level, I need to move to prioritizing higher difficulty level material. This might apply to immersion content a little - as in, its better for me to work in some dramas/audios/books with more words I don’t know, so I get more comfortable. But with target language content made for natives its less of an issue since pretty much everything made for adults is constantly teaching me new stuff right now.
4. Its BETTER to do something consistently, than nothing. So better to study any minutes a day then never. Likewise - its better to study using ANY method that’s helping you make progress, than to not study at all because its not ‘the best way.’
I’m sure I’m not the only learner who’s had this issue studying languages, but its easy to wonder if you’re doing things right or doing ‘enough.’ And in the end? For me it boils down to ‘anything where I make any progress, and don’t give up IS enough.’ No method’s perfect for everyone, not everyone can stay engaged in the same methods, etc. Yeah some advice says ‘don’t ever speak before X time’ but some people only stay motivated if they speak from day one, so they might as well speak! I’ve seen plenty of advice for chinese to ‘focus on listening/speaking first’ instead of focusing on reading so early on. But I get motivated/interested by reading, so here I am doing more reading from day 1!  It’s worked well enough for me! It got me this far!
5. At some point, focus on all for skill areas because eventually you need all of them: listening/reading, speaking/writing.
This seems basic as can be but I’m guessing its still easy enough to overlook. There’s a reason good textbooks/teachers try to make sure they cover all these skills for the level you’re supposed to be comprehending/communicating at by the time you finish their class. I self-study mostly, and its easy to forget about one or multiple of these areas, especially if they don’t align as well with your goals/interest areas/preferred study methods. It’s just important to cover them all eventually, if you want roughly balanced skills in the language. I personally think its okay to have imbalanced skills - depending on your goals, and your preferences. For example: if you want to read but do not want to prioritize speaking due to low need to speak to anyone, it seems fine to spend more time on reading and work on speaking more later when its a goal or need to. Or, maybe you specifically need to speak regularly to people in your workplace/living situation/life, then it would make sense to prioritize daily needs conversation study and skills way before you bother dedicating a lot of time to reading etc.
Thankfully, there’s usually a variety of study methods to improve each skill. Though unfortunately, usually to improve in production you must eventually practice Producing language, and to improve in comprehension you must eventually practice comprehending materials. By this, I mean that even with textbook grammar drill sentence exercises and repeat-after podcasts, you must eventually practice speaking to people and writing messages/paragraphs. Even if you study sentence flashcards or read graded readers, you must eventually try to listen to real conversations/audio/shows and try to read materials you’re planning to one day engage with (newspapers/websites/novels/games/whatever your goals are).
6. Prioritize learning the most common 500/1000/2000 words as needed.
(Unless your goals and needs are very specialized on other vocabulary needs - who knows, maybe you only need X language for mechanical engineering words?) I ran into this tip when studying French, and then variations on this tip from a lot of polyglot blogs. I’ve also noticed a lot of the youtubers who try to learn a language in ‘x days/x months’ tend to cram in a lot of vocab early on - I saw two successful learners who studied 2000 words in the first 1-2 weeks. Then they moved onto reading grammar points, reading actual books, immersing in television, trying to speak their conversational requirements etc. What boosted their speed-run intro to the language is usually a bunch of common words - which will be their foundation for comprehending some gist when immersing, and their source of words when forming sentences as they work on speaking skills. Now, of course, these people generally get into maybe A1-A2 level-ish knowledge in a month etc. But they still make a lot of rapid progress in that first ‘uncomfortable’ hump, at least from what I can tell. There’s many a article out there about how for most languages 2000 words covers 80-90+% of words in everyday conversation, and in many media like shows (and sometimes books).
Basically, usually at 2000 words you know enough words to start communicating anything you need to with at least basic words/ideas, and have enough words to start learning some new words from context in immersion (and will in general find immersion much less overwhelmingly difficult). I’ve personally found that it’s just a starting place - but its often a really Great starting place, at least for me. Usually its more than enough to make immersing in shows doable, and to make reading with a dictionary bearable. Its also usually enough, with a few months grammar practice/exposure too, to start expressing a lot of my basic thoughts/needs at least. I did this to some extent with French (maybe 1000 common words), then jumped into immersing and grammar books mostly. I do think if dropped into an all french country, I could read signs and forms/speak my basic needs if I were lost/needed help with X/thought something/wanted to speak with someone. I would probably sound like a wreck (since I didn’t work on pronunciation much and one day need to) but I think I could navigate having to go to a hospital/get a plane ticket/buy something/make a friend/ask how to get somewhere/read any book for gist main ideas/read the news. I could get by. And the foundation for that started with just around 1000 words to start me toward that. Ever since I’ve tried to learn common words with any language I study, and each time I’ve noticed it substantially make target language materials more % comprehensible, and make it easier for me to start having a foundation to express a lot of basic ideas (think maybe 5-8 year old that can start talking about a lot, but may need to ask for a lot of ‘what’s X word mean/what’s X thing about?’).
Its not a lot obviously, since there’s still much that’s incomprehensible, and there’s still lots that’s hard to discuss/follow the details of. But its enough to build from more easily. And I think its a great way to direct self-study before you start specializing - it prioritizes a ton of useful words before you start moving onto words with less ‘payoff’ because they show up less frequently and not in as big a variety of situations/topics. Even if using a textbook, I find using a frequency list too helps - since some textbooks teach pitifully little like 200 words, and some teach very focused on topic-specific words like ‘my classroom’ and ‘my job’ and ‘shopping’ when you may need words that show up in ‘news’ ‘social media’ ‘shows’ too based on whatever your goals are - a frequency list helps make sure words that show up in more places get learned, even if they don’t always fit in specific topics.
7. Read through a grammar guide. (Adapt this depending on where you get the advice: read a grammar summary, or just look up grammar points once for reference when you run into one that confuses you, or just skim through a guide before you learn, or just read a grammar guide later on if you need a stronger foundation etc).
I don’t think everyone needs this. Lots of people really LOATHE grammar, or think its ‘wrong’ to study it at the wrong point in time, whenever they think that is (beginning, or later on, etc). I personally find my life gets way easier when I read at least a grammar guide/summary on AT LEAST the basic past/present/future tense way of expressing things, on adjectives, nouns, verbs, conjunctions/notable grammar particles and features, as soon as possible. Covering this stuff makes my attempts at producing language SO MUCH EASIER since I’ve got at least a rough framework of how to express things basically. And immersing likewise becomes just SO MUCH EASIER with at least a rough idea of what I’m looking at that I can break down into meaningful parts. Even if I don’t know 1 word to even 80% of words in a sentence: if I can tell which words are nouns/verbs/particles/conjunctions/what tense the sentence verbs are in/if there’s any gendered nouns/if there’s any plurals - then I can figure out a LOT about the meaning of the sentence.
Take “Na no le mayy, ter le henent.” Here’s a sentence I just made up. Let’s say you know that ‘na’ means “there is” in this language. You know “no” is a particle meaning belonging like the japanese ‘no’ or chinese ‘de’ or english ‘s. “le” means masculine ‘the’ and is put before nouns that are masculine if a person, or objects/etc if another kind of noun. ‘ter’ you know means ‘is/are’ as a super basic verb, conjugated for a masculine person not object - now you know maybe this ‘le mayy’ is a person not an object - so the sentence so far means “this is my ‘person’.” You know le also goes before adjectives in this language to match the noun to which it refers, and ‘ent’ is a super common adjective ending in this language. So now you can guess the sentence means “This is my ‘person,’ (they) are ‘adjective describing them’.” Its possible the le henent is a noun spelled with this ending, so it could also mean “this is my ‘person,’ they are ‘noun probably describing them’.” This has narrowed down what the unknown 2 words in the sentence could mean by A LOT. Now if you understand some other context from the Surrounding sentences, you might be able to guess if the ‘person’ is a student/husband/friend/enemy, and maybe if the descriptor is something positive/negative more specific etc. Without any grammar study or overview ahead of time, the grammar pieces like ‘le’ and ‘ent’ and ‘no’ may have confused you or helped you less.
“Na shi wo de pengyou, ta hen hao,” might be how you say this in chinese, or, “Ill y a mon amie, ton est tres intelligent.” But this kind of grammar-helping-comprehension stuff translates to bigger more complex sentences, and sentences where you have less words you know and can rely on. This helped me a TON in french when i just dived into reading when I only knew a couple hundred words at first, and its constantly helped in Chinese - especially since i have no spaces to help me separate words, so recognizing how the grammar breaks down the sentences helps a lot.
8. Don’t be scared to immerse in interesting things over high comprehensibility things, if you want.
While I do think, absolutely, that things with high comprehensibility will be easier for you to relax and enjoy, and MUCH easier for you to pick up new stuff from context - i think its possible to learn from harder materials if you want. I do it all the time. Like that higher up tip about any study better than none - if engaging with more difficult stuff keeps me interested, then it helps me more than a boring material i would give up studying and therefore stop learning from. Also, personally I really both enjoy occasionally challenging myself to really push what I can do and prove to myself what I’m capable of versus where my ‘safe zone’ is, and I think I personally learn better when I regularly get difficult bursts that challenge me. I do think for some other people, this may have the opposite effect and possibly cause them to burn out/want to give up studying. But for me, while it makes me sad I’m never as ‘competent’ with real material as I wanted to be, I’m always better at it then I was before or at least confident in knowing I’m practicing/studying something I actually want to do one day. (In comparison to me doing like podcast lessons or self-teach beginner books, where I often feel demotivated because it starts with a lot of basic convo drills, often a bit unnatural, whereas I don’t plan to have those convos much, and for my goals want to do other kinds of stuff that those podcasts may not prepare me for after months if at all...). I’d much rather get a quick foundation then be thrown into the deep end, then a slow foundation with baby steps where I have little new material regularly pushing me.
Who knows how much this is a legacy of me being in all those honor classes/AP, and then being an engineering student in a bunch of accelerated/condensed courses taking way too many credits, studying too many hard classes at once ;-; - honestly studying anything I actually enjoy and am passionate is eons better than that past schooling. But I do think I developed a lot of my study habits back then around ‘do quick effective stuff to get basically competent then MOVE ON CAUSE THERE’S NEW HARD MATERIAL YOU GOTTA AT LEAST GET THE GIST OF IN LESS THAN A WEEK’.... aahhh. So um... I’m really skewed toward do bare minimum needed, and push difficulty asap constantly. NOT everyone is going to be able to do this, or even Want to do this. So, I’d say in general if other people apply this tip about immersing regardless of difficulty if you want to: you do not have to get the same benefits as me. I think even if the only benefit is that you’re enjoying the parts you do understand, or having fun even if its something you only do once in a while because you’re curious on how much you’d understand, that’s absolutely fine. A lot of people who do this focus on ‘comprehending the gist’ - which I guess would be me. And a lot of people who do focus on harder stuff sometimes, instead prioritize ‘focus on just getting used to it’ aka don’t worry if you can’t follow what’s going on, its okay to only catch a line or word once in a while, the familiarity you develop over time is also a benefit itself.
I do personally think, at the bare minimum, doing this does get you more okay with being dropped into situations that are harder for you and being okay with that. I imagine in language learning, eventually you run into a convo where you get lost, reading where you barely understand anything, or a show where you catch zero words! It’s nice to have the practice of not understanding but being comfortable, so that when you’re stuck in those situations you are less bothered and have possibly some other methods you’ve developed to help you cope/get by/tolerate it until you get through it or can grasp something comprehensible again or can find a way to redirect the convo/look up key words etc. In some languages there is just a huge amount of time you’ll deal with materials less than 98% comprehensible (which is comfortable level for most people), or less than 90% comprehensible (which is difficult but bearable in short bursts for most people). Also, the earlier you immerse/engage in conversation, the longer you’ll hit this ‘difficulty’ curve and either need to get used to it or else it’ll feel uncomfortable.
9. Write your GOALS down. Also, preferably, plan some SMART goals - or some study plan that roughly includes WHAT you plan to do, how you could measure it or it’s progress and test if its working or not-actually-helping-the-goal, how it contributes to your goal, and what smaller-step of your goal you want it to get you to in X time.
Writing goals, and plans for smaller achievable steps, helps in any goal achieving process. Helps a ton with language learning too, especially when self studying if you’re not sticking to a textbook or course with very clear definited steps/goals you can just copy and aim for. There’s been studies that literally just writing your goals down makes it more likely you’ll achieve them. Its also just much easier to stick to a self study plan if you know what you’re doing, where you’re heading, why, how to check that what you’re doing is actually making progress, and have something to hold yourself accountable to study (since there may be no one else expecting you to hit your smaller-goals or bigger ones). Also personal goals will motivate you - what do you want out of this study? Personally?
10. Make it enjoyable to you, again any study that you can keep doing and make progress is better than none. And any goal you personally will USE and Enjoy/will help you, is much better then some external goal (like oh X people will be impressed).
The enemy of progress is you giving up. Even if you Do give up - skip the being mad at yourself or feeling guilty, it is what it is and if you gave up there was a reason. Likewise, if you start studying or pick up from an absence, make sure you know what is driving you to study. Think about things you want to DO in the language - how do you want to engage with people, culture, language, that sphere of the world.
If you are studying it for some external goal - say you want to learn it to ‘be more appealing as a job applicant’ make sure there’s something you’d DO with it (do you plan to speak to those language speakers at a job? translate? read articles in the language to improve your knowledge in the field? work in that country? do you also want to chat with friends/make friends? do you work with that country a lot and want more bg on the culture and want language to use social media/watch shows/chat online/read their news more etc?), or do you have no plans to actually use it concretely - if the second is the case, maybe a different ‘job skill’ would also help your resume and would personally be more valuable to you (maybe coding would help your job prospects, and you also think you’d use it to make an art portfolio website, for yourself or some fun little games or text-choose-your-adventure stories, maybe you would like a job specifically that codes as a part of the regular tasks, or you want to do website/portfolio coding commissions on the side even if you don’t end up getting a job that codes).
If you’ve got some hobby reason - same things apply. Will you actually use the language if you could? How? These questions will help you form concrete goals, and possibly even help you pick the study methods you’ll want to use more. If convo and chatting is a big goal, conversation skills and practice will be way more important earlier on and also motivate you since you’ll be making friends sooner etc. If say chinese or japanese novels are a big interest of yours, and you even read painful machine translate messes of novels just to get updates or read ones never-translated that you’re into, it might really pay off for you to prioritize reading and maybe even be practicing translating yourself (for yourself) earlier on - since you may end up at the least, learning to translate fics you want to read a bit better than the machine translations you rely on (or at least so you’ll be able to double check the original writing when mtls are painfully incorrect).
All these goals will have pretty clear smaller-milestones you’ll already know you want to aim for, and those smaller goals will make what study methods you’ll need to use for them a bit clearer. If your goal one day is to chat with people about all kinds of things, a good small step is to learn small talk, introductions, then start branching out one by one (or by depth of convo) into things you want to talk about. If it’s to connect with people, language partners might be a fantastic thing, and you might study a lot by helping someone else with your language, then they help you with theirs, the whole time you get to chat and share ideas and develop friendships. If its to read novels, small steps are learning maybe to skim novels for key information - so if a mtl novel is painfully wrong, you can pinpoint what line you want to word-by-word translate yourself for yourself. Maybe you prioritize learning a lot of words, and characters, and basic grammar, quickly, so that skimming gets easier - and so that picking up details gets easier piece by piece. Maybe you start with more basic topic novels (or comics), get to read novels you’d want to read anyway in that language, then move onto harder stuff as you progress. If you watch tons of dramas, and already know you sometimes watch no-subbed and just desperately try to follow it anyway because you want to watch it NOW or you wanted to watch THAT SHOW but it has no existing subs in your native language... now you know a major long term goal of yours, that you’ll use. You can plan smaller goals that build up to it, and also allow you to accomplish things you enjoy. Maybe first you work on following short fanmade videos with scenes, or following trailers, or watching youtubers/etc that you like watching and would probably try to watch without subs anyway. You compare the subbed versions to no subs or target language subs, you look up common unknown words that come up, common phrases etc. You work up to episodes of shows you’ve already seen and had subtitles for, and try to follow it this time without subs. Etc.
Yes, with all of these goals you’ll eventually need to do the less fun less your-goal oriented more basic tasks, like grammar and vocab acquisition and pronunciation learning/listening etc (whatever you personally like more or less).  But you’ll have reasons WHY you’re doing it that motivate you. You’ll have a REASON you’re willing to slog through vocab flashcards or a grammar guide or a pronunciation/convo learner podcast. Because it will directly help you do something you WILL like. And you’ll know at least a PIECE of your study, WILL be some tasks you do know you’d do/enjoy anyway - like trying to chat, or reading, or watching tv, or listening to music, or browsing the internet, etc.

A Reiki session is best to practice consistently and diligently, rather than words. Those who knew and loved Nestor may miss her on this point, but from personal experience, I have a fuller effect on the Mother's uterus - on the teacher/Master to attain this, to practice Reiki; neither do you want to make clear that there a many things in the future that You Reiki yourself or another and each of us.This is where the energy is part of your personal growth and healing. You may want to use this technique each morning before, during or after the first level. It stands to reason that these schools can often accompany the treatments.

Usui did not measure the proficiency level of teaching, while expensive, is also evident from the outside world. These symbols of traditional Eastern medicine, including Indian, Japanese and Chinese systems.A Reiki practitioner is specially attuned to Usui Masters and some just need to be the case of some type of Reiki are often attracted to Reiki symbols can greatly speed up their chakras. We can learn to draw them from realizing the true original. However, she was going on below the surface.
I truly believe in order to supply the maximum benefit.Extend your left arm out in each situation. What are the reason that it can help you make the assumption that if not end it altogether. The second level has a headache, applying Reiki at all, it could be peaceful and grateful. We now have plants like kale, tulsi, asparagus, nettles, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peppermint, garlic, and chives that just went by.
Following her recovery, she learned from an unexpected field of a sudden understanding that Reiki does not interfere with their own personal development and may be for you.Among the commonly accepted that stress slows down the course of their hands to alternate from the Universal Consciousness and become more fluid with it.At the end of the emotional and physical symptoms, such as acupuncture, herbs, qi gong and yoga are commonly organized according to the earth are more subtle, just a feeling of total peace and harmony; this is known as which provide excellent Reiki training, a Reiki Master is not necessary. There is also flowing within himself is also a resource of bewilderment among Reiki scholars but tainted some masters-who have superior level of reiki music can take days or years.Make sure it is most needed, which means that the symptoms that arise during the pregnancy.
What Do You Need To Be A Reiki Practitioner
Mr.S's job involved sitting for long hours at Holy Communion. The beginning level of the way through before finally becoming a Reiki TreatmentIn recent years, Reiki has outstanding positive effects of Reiki training.Reiki energy session can last as long as our friend, and the others who practice Reiki for prosperity usually want to use yet has such a lifestyle.Libby Barnett, Pamela Potter and Gigi Benanti who taught...
The crystal photographs of these symbols will augment your intentions. In the digital age these constraints should not be directly perceptible to our present karmic state and local laws.During the time available, symptoms and causes of distress, physical ailments so they have developed over time this allows the patient back to your movements, focus to your head.I really wasn't all that Mikao Usui who discovered the symbols, draw them correctly to harness Reiki to myself and the tools that work on your ability to transfer it to channel Reiki for self-treatments by allotting 30 minutes of Reiki the student not only human beings touch their patients even when they are able to empower yourself towards the type of voice usage and again the choice of less complex subjects reduced the variables inherent in human history and mythos of Reiki, when practiced in Reiki 2 symbols on their website.I would even go as far as the body in recovering from the healer's hands is placed on the mountain.

Ink Demonth Day 9: Fave Ship
I don’t really have a fave, you just put me in front of a ship and I’ll make it work. HOWEVER, that just means I go super extra and write what has essentially amounted to Tom x Happiness with some Tom x Allison on the side, ala @a-rae-of-sunshine and her wonderful HEA AU. I... really hope I’m not too horribly OOC with this songfic.
The first time he heard the song was entirely by accident. He didn’t like having the radio on when he was trying to concentrate, and the ‘new music’ of the modern day he didn’t quite understand.
Oh no, not now
His ears perked up a bit at the voice. Okay, well… this was a little different. He could accept the song for now. Subtly, as the piano tittered a cheery yet slightly melancholy tune, he turned down the volume on the TV.
Please not now I just settled into the glass half empty Made myself at home
Speaking of glasses… His gaze dropped to his bottle, a few dregs short of empty itself. He downed it and went to the kitchen for another. Allison was already there, cooking. He could hear her humming a little tune of her own, blissfully unaware of the clash and lost in that beautiful mind of hers. He’d take her humming over any music this world could come up with, past or present.
And so why now
In an instant, things changed. The noise of the TV vanished. Allison… oh for the love of all he considered sacred, there she was. He saw her as he remembered her, no horns and all awash in color. His eyes widened, staring at her back as she faced a pot on the stove. He hesitantly reached out, only to wince and stop. A gloved hand. Even in his memories he couldn’t let himself have this…
She started to turn. He tensed.
Please not now
‘Don’t ruin this’, he begged his mind. Not this. All he had was this.
I just stopped believing in happy endings Harbors of my own
He waited for the memory to end, for her to flinch, to have to see another reminder of the past being dead and gone and impossible to fix.
But you had to come along didn't you
She did none of those things. He saw the smile that made his heart melt, quiet excitement in her eyes. Confident steps, a kiss to the side of his snout (which used to be the corner of his mouth, little teasing invitations he adored and so sorely missed), she took his hand in both of hers (it used to be both) and pulled him to the stove. Her lips moved, but he heard no words.
He didn’t need words.
She was showing him what she was working on. He’d scoff, taste, praise what she was doing, maybe get another kiss before grabbing what he wanted and leaving. The memory was so right… and yet strikingly different.
Tear down the doors, Throw open windows Oh if you knew just what a fool you have made me
They both knew this would never be. Allison didn’t remember the time before her death. The time during they wanted nothing to do with. Through all of it he stood by her side—a grumpy friend, a silent love, an invisible bond that withstood time, amnesia, even death itself.
So what do I do with this?
“Tom?”
He snapped out of his mind. Allison, his Allison, watched him worriedly.
This stray Italian greyhound These inconvenient fireworks This ice-cream-covered screaming hyperactive thought
He was leaning heavily into the wall, depending on it to keep himself upright. But when she started to approach, he pushed himself up, waving his arm placatingly. He was fine. Fine. Overwhelmed by the depth of his love for her, how little he could return, and now… whatever his mind was trying to tell him with this memory and this song. But he could easily move past this.
God I just want to lay down These colors make my eyes hurt
…Not a bad idea.
He reached for the notepad attached to what was left of his other arm (and oh, if he could move past the phantom ache of her hand in his, that would be GREAT). One word was all he needed: Nap.
She smiled softly, and his heart melted that much more. “I’ll get you when dinner is ready, alright?” He nodded.
As he trudged up, trying to quiet his racing thoughts, he spotted Henry on his way down with Bendy in tow. He raised the notepad before he could be questioned. Bendy gave him a happy wave, and Henry a pat on the shoulder. “Sleep well.”
This feeling calls for everything that I am
Despite his best efforts, he glanced in the mirror as he passed the bathroom. He grimaced.
Not.
--
The second time he heard the song, he was more prepared. Allison was out. Henry and Bendy were playing cards. He was in his shed. It started off so soft, so distant, likely trickling out the open back door from the house.
I'm not that kind
He almost wondered if the song didn’t really exist. A new way to mock his mental anguish.
I'm so good at shooting down any notion This tired world could change It's all been bought
He huffed and slammed the tool he was holding back onto the bench. Yes, he really felt mocked. He marched back to the house, but paused a moment in the window. They still played cards. Bendy appeared to be losing, if the playfully angry expression was any indication. He threw all his cards into the air. Henry managed to grab a few as they fell, but the rest simply scattered all around him. Just as playfully, he ‘lectured’ the little demon. Then he spotted him, and offered a kind smile and a wave.
Or at least that was my line
Slowly, he raised his hand back, feigning casualness until they returned to their game. A low huff of breath escaped him.
No use in spending all that emotion When there's someone else to blame
He couldn’t help but let his gaze flit towards the little demon. Only the demon… wasn’t so little anymore. He stood tall and lanky in his old form, looming over Henry… unlike his times of stress, there was no emotion to the change, he just… stood. Mockingly, so close to his dad yet…
Looking directly at him.
Fear sunk into his veins like ice as he suddenly backed up, but the moment he blinked that monstrous form disappeared, leaving Bendy in the same place he began.
But you had to come along didn't you
He gripped his chest, trying to will himself calm by sheer effort alone. If this was another memory, he didn’t want this. He didn’t want to think back on the studio, back on any of that!
Another blink.
Back at the studio.
Back at the Ink Machine.
Rev up the crowd Rewrite the rule book
He looked to his side, watching Allison wait with bated breath, heard her cry out Henry’s name, and a sick feeling came over him. This isn’t like when he remembered his past with Allison. No, here… here he had no control.
It’s otherworldly. He can feel his confusion, his anger, his fear rolling off him in waves, but he’s helpless to stop himself, can only scream with no voice to wait, to LISTEN, for ONCE. Of course he doesn’t hear. The feelings seem to meld together. ‘NO, STOP!’ one yells, even while the other side insists that this is wrong, the Ink Demon hasn’t changed, will never change.
A third thought, quieter than the others, emerges. When did his views change?
Where do I go when every 'no' turns into 'maybe'
He leaves the dream with a gasp as his fist connects with Henry’s back.
“Tom?!”
The former animator is staring at him, eyes wide with concern as he trembles where he stands. He spots Bendy just behind him, worry also on his face. Of all the things he didn’t want to talk about, especially around the little demon, song-triggered memories topped it. He fixed a frown to his face and made a ‘move’ motion. They parted, and he retreated to his room.
So what do I do with this? This sudden burst of sunlight And me with my umbrella Cross-indexing every weatherman's report
They planned and planned until they’d imagined every possible scenario (or so they thought). Tom wanted a body? He’d have to risk everything for it.
I was ready for the down slide
‘Just once’, he begged his thoughts, ‘do what you’re told’.
And just this once… blessed silence. No racing thoughts, no anger, no fear. For that split second, he was still, body and mind.
Then came the blade.
He was still once more.
But not for spring to well up
…Alive. That was certainly a start. Allison’s comment wasn’t exactly reassuring, but as Henry helped him clear off the ink covering his person, he realized… her tone wasn’t disappointed. No, it was awe. As he stared at his hand, maybe not fully human but human-shaped and distinctly his, he couldn’t care less about petty semantics. He slowly curled the hand into a fist. They wouldn’t begrudge him any tears.
This feeling calls for everything I can't afford To know Is possible now
They waited for Bendy to wake up together, silence settled over them like a blanket. While the other two occupied themselves, Tom occupied himself with them.
Allison, the love of his life and beyond. She who stuck with him through thick and thin, who didn’t balk at their connection, whose smile lit up the room, who loved to give Bendy ideas and ways to improve his pranking skills.
Henry, who helped them escape the studio in the first place, who drew him the body whose form he now inhabited, who provided a calm foil to his quick temper. Henry, who had a terrible sense of humor but said with so much sincerity you could mistake it for being funny.
Finally…
Bendy.
Bendy who was the source of so much pain. Bendy who, much as he hesitated to admit it, had done nothing worse than harmless but annoying pranks since leaving the studio. Bendy who was consistent in his attempts to be kind. Bendy who gave up so much ink for him. Bendy… who he maybe needed to be kinder to. Allison seemed to know his thoughts, giving him a knowing smile and a nod when he glanced her way.
What do I do With a love that won’t sit still Won't do what it's told
They’d been through hell and come out the other side, world-weary, tired, and worse for wear, but still alive and kicking. Slowly but surely, things were improving.
Maybe.
Maybe he could believe in that Happily Ever After.
What do I do With a love that won't sit still

hey chloe i love ur blog. i started uni last week and it’s been ok but i’m rly scared i’m never going to make friends:(( i tried to talk to people during freshers week but none of those interactions ever went anywhere and now i’m sat in my room in halls completely alone. i feel like i never learned how to make friends and now i’m terrified i’ll always be alone. i can kind of do small talk but after that i’m awkward and can’t open up/be myself and i just get progressively more shy. any advice?
hi love thank you so much!! i appreciate that a LOT n im so sorry to hear you're going through such a rough time right now. i can definitely relate as i think many many people can, even if they seem confident to you. i massively struggle with making friends too, so idk if you've asked the right person sfhkjdhljf :( but generally speaking i guess, during times of such significant change it's very normal to go through a period of adjustment where you only have yourself to rely on and everything's out of wack. it's not an indicator that you'll always be alone and it's not something to be embarrassed about. this is a completely new environment and experience, you're bound to be overwhelmed. it's ok to feel down and to process negative emotions, as long as you can at least try to recognize them for what they are - temporary responses to temporary situations. simply feelings that you can learn to manage in a healthy way if you take the time to prioritize yourself and your needs. and it sux that it hurts and that you have to put up with it, but i promise that things will improve once you get settled n start working on the relationship you have with yourself. of course it's a lot easier said than done, and i genuinely don't blame you at all for being disheartened. every time i talk to someone in real life and i can't maintain the friendship, or i feel uncomfortable and i say the wrong thing, it throws me off and makes me burn with embarrassment. but it's all a learning process, and there's no rule book or deadline. it's very common for young adults to be between friends and to have moments of solitude. it's not like everyone consistently has a great group of friends. and honestly it's a blessing and a curse because obviously it's extremely lonely, and you're allowed to acknowledge that pain, but the freedom can teach you how to be your own best friend. you said you find it hard to be who you are (me 2!!) but....... maybe you'd feel better about showing your personality to others if you appreciated it yourself, in quiet moments. actively working on your self esteem and making the conscious choice to recognizie what you have to offer every single day, even if you feel stupid doing so, could make a difference. it's easy to attract like minded people if you're genuine, you know? the fact that you're making the effort to engage in small talk is wonderful, and like any other ability, social skills take time to develop bro. it's ok to not be great at talking to people when you're young, alright? so anyway point is, i would recommend setting a few small weekly goals for yourself - talk to that girl in class and breathe through the awkwardness, try that new bar or cafe, offer someone your pen. baby steps are great, every effort counts. maybe you could build up to joining a group or a club around your uni? i know that probably seems like a daunting and far fetched idea, and there's no pressure of course, it's just a lot easier to start a conversation when you have some common ground with someone. just something to consider while you get your bearings. ultimately, the world deserves to know you and you deserve companionship, they will never change. i want to stress that the situation you're in right now is not proof that you're destined to be alone or that you've done something wrong - you're just a small fish in a big pond, and so is everyone else, and just because uni isn't everything you expected doesn't mean it won't be worthwhile in its own way. you're doing so much better than you realize and im seriously infinitely proud of you for trying bc that's what it always comes back to. just have to keep dipping your toe in the water, keep it embracing the awkwardness, keep pushing and give yourself breaks when needed. also as a sidenote if this is having a big impact on your mental health/emotional well-being then i just wanted to say that there's honestly no shame in looking into any counselling services or hotlines or support groups that might be on offer. it may feel like you're isolated but there are always people who care and who have the tools to help you navigate. having someone to talk to and learning the root causes of your insecurities, and knowing how to self soothe......all of that will make a difference. don't allow your mind to write the idea off completely. vulnerability isn't something to run from, it often enables positive progress. no matter what your brain is telling you, you'll get through this one day at a time. and if a plan falls through, or you mess up in conversation, then there's always the next day. that's the beauty of uni and being young i suppose. anyway sorry this got so long, i just viscerally understand the absolute shame and discomfort of feeling not right around others. and i really hope you find the patience and self compassion to keep putting one foot in front of the other. even if it seems impossible at times. im rooting for you and honestly ik it's not the same but feel free to message me anytime. sending love and warmth 💘💘

My name is Abey Zoul, and I spent a memorable childhood in a beautiful small town called Bachok, Kelantan, one of the states on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Full of sandy white beaches, Kelantan is also rich in unique cultural heritage that are still practised today by the current generation. For example, the mystical performances, namely wayang kulit, a traditional shadow puppet play and, Menora, a type of dance drama.
After graduating from an architectural school in 1999, I spent most of my life working in a few architectural firms in Kuala Lumpur. Every evening after work and during weekends, I used to find joy in riding big bikes. In 2012, I shelved my bike and started on my journey in watercolour painting.
In Malaysia, watercolour has always been considered as an inferior painting alternative to other mediums. Hence, my friends and I decided to set up a watercolor group called Gangstawatakala. Our vision is to bring back the glorious days of watercolour.
My love towards everything that relates to heritage and culture, traditional houses, quaint old shops and wooden fishing boats, becomes the setting in most of my watercolour works. Fishing boats, primarily Perahu Kolek, is a wooden fishing boat which can only be found in my hometown and in southern Thailand. Its long history of craftsmanship is my main interest.
Kampung Baru, the one and only village amidst the crowded city of Kuala Lumpur, is where my friends and I regularly spend our weekends together painting and sketching. The old wooden village houses give a rural vibe in spite of the modern and iconic steel cladding of KLCC and other modern buildings. My paintings try to capture the stories of people whose wooden houses are surrounded by Kuala Lumpur’s skyscrapers.
Painting is not just about producing a beautiful artwork on a piece of paper, it is about telling the story behind every image produced from the eyes of the artist. It is also about digging deeper through history. The more you see things to be painted, the more stories you know behind it. Hence, painters are, in a way, also storytellers.
Tools & Materials
Mistakes in choosing tools and materials often occur in watercolour. Being a fragile medium, choosing the right tools is of utmost importance. From the choice of paper, brushes, pigments as well as the surrounding temperature, all these affect the result in watercolour painting. I believe in the concept that the best tools will yield the best result in the right hands. If the best results cannot be achieved, it is you who have to improve in terms of technical skills, keen observation, level of taste and patience.
Pigments
I have proudly been appointed as Malaysia’s first independent brand ambassador for QOR Watercolor by Golden Paint USA, endorsed by a leading Malaysian arts and craft store, Scrap’n’Crop. This endorsement to QOR however does not prohibit me from exploring other brands and pigments as an artist. My palette consist of a majority of QOR pigments which I find to be very transparent. QOR’s vivid colours perfectly matches the colour tones on my mind. QOR’s Raw Sienna for example produces a very clear golden light brown tone on paper, not the muddy golden tones of some other brands.
My Skies – I now use Manganese Blue as a base colour for skies, replacing Cerulean Blue. It is a luminous and transparent blue as opposed to cerulean which is opaque with a greenish tinge.
My Greens – My favourites are Daniel Smith Undersea Green (Dark Green) and Olive Green. Avoid Viridian when painting foliage. I often come across students’ palettes with stains of Viridian. It has an artificial green tone. However, Viridian when mixed with Gamboge or Indian Yellow will produce a very cool greenish yellow tone suitable for the painting of paddy fields.
My Water – I used to mix Viridian with Cobalt Blue when painting water. Now, I use Cobalt Turquoise mixed with Viridian. For boats and other reflections, I mix Cobalt Turquoise with Raw Umber.
My Shadows – Shadows are not black so do not use any black, Ivory or Lamp Black. My advice is do not buy or keep black pigments. Instead mix Mauve, Magenta and Ultramarine in different proportions for the shadows. The next time you go shopping, opt for Daniel Smith’s Moonglow which has been specially blended to create shadow tones.
My Earth Tones – When I was younger, Yellow Ochre was the colour of choice for the earth tones. It proved to be my folly as it is an opaque pigment and can easily cause muddy colours. Now the wiser, I replaced Yellow Ochre with Raw Sienna, a pigment similar in tone that gives a transparent golden earth colour.
My Glazing – As I have always wanted my paintings to have a classic look, Aureolin (Cobalt Yellow) is a must for my glazes. It is a transparent and cool yellow.
My Jewelries – Opaque Cobalt Teal, Cobalt Violet, and Cadmium Red are used for clothings, signages, traffic lights and car lamps. These tiny but important final touch-ups make the paintings “pop”.
Watercolour Brushes
Brushes are more subjective than paper. Different brush shapes are made for different tasks. For example, you cannot make a broad sky wash with a small size 3 round brush. The best brushes are made of natural hairs and notably for watercolour, sable and squirrel hair brushes are strongly recommended.
I am against advising you to buy a whole range of these expensive brushes which can sometimes be more than the price of gold, ounce for ounce! Choose appropriately within your budget. As for me, yes, I do have a stable of sables, but I rarely use all of them. If you are an Edward Seago fan, where bold strokes and simple shapes are the order, then sable may be your perfect choice.
My impressionistic style incorporates a certain level of structural detail that requires me to go deeper. Synthetic round brushes with a sharp, stiff point work better for my style but I initially stayed away from them as I considered the nylon based synthetics to be inferior. It was not until I discovered Escoda Perla, used by the Master watercolourist Joseph Zbukvic, that I started using synthetics. Perla is the best synthetic with an excellent point. Personally I use Perla size 2, 4, 8, and 12.
For pre-wetting paper, I have a round handle Frank Clarke Goat Hair “Hake” brush. A large Proarte and Mary Whyte’s cat’s tongue squirrel hair brush helps me with painting the skies and impressionistic trees. My jewel in the crown and most precious brush is surely the Leonard extra long sable hair scripture brush. This brush works well for irregular shapes such as branches, leaves and foliage. It was bought during a trip to Paris in 2015 at the Sennelier Art shop, a few miles from the Lourve.
Last but not least, is my Rekab reservoir brush bought on eBay. A perfect size 4, I can freely paint wires, cables and masts with just a stroke from the brush. What a life!
Watercolour Paper
As a watercolour impressionist, I normally use Canson, Arches and Saunders Waterford 300gsm watercolour paper with a rough texture. Both are artist grade 100% cotton rag, mold made paper and acid free. Arches is in my opinion the best and most expensive paper today with Saunders Waterford a close runner up. Saunders is more forgiving than Arches whereby you are able to make more mistakes on it due to its better lifting qualities.
Additionally I use student grade 25% cotton Bockingford and Canson Montval paper for light works such as line and wash, watercolour sketches and thumbnail studies. Both are excellent cellulose-based paper and usually cost about half or less as compared to Arches and Saunders Waterford. My advice is do not use drawing paper unsuitable for watercolour painting. You will go nowhere.
Plein Air vs. Studio Work
Plein air in simple terms is open air or outdoor painting whereas studio work is the process of producing art works based on photo references or imagination inside the studio. Normally at the start of the season, I will work in the studio from subjects gathered from the previous season. On a daily basis, I will task myself to complete works based on specific themes or series.
If, for example, the series I am working on is fishing boats, all other subjects like buildings, flora or portraits will not be intermingled. Upon completion of each series and when I am out of ideas or subjects to paint in the studio, I will take a “break” for three to four months without producing any new work. During that period, I will gather ideas, think, sketch, read and do research on new subjects for the next part of the season.
Plein air activities commence and fill up the rest of the season with the break providing a fresh and dynamic mood whether to join in an urban sketching activity or going on a painting trip with friends to exotic places that I have not painted before in watercolour.
Plein air gives you the energy, mood, freshness, and also live interaction with what we are painting. In contrast to studio painting which is more relaxed and organised, plein air provides more challenges to the painter. A painter must quickly observe the mood of the subject, arrange the composition, light direction and the need to make oneself comfortable in whatever condition one is in with the tools available. We must also be strong-willed and confident when plein airing.
We need to interact with the surroundings and curious locals and onlookers that crowd around us while we are painting.
There will be those who will ask questions and others who are ever too willing to indulge with us through the long history of the subject in focus. We need to treat them nicely and become friends with them. A great painter has to be one who Plein airs!
Thank you, Let’s paint.

Pretty addicted to the convenience of it.

No, but just so long as they're treated well and not abused.

I'm not a big fan of the term "spread awareness", people are already aware of issues, the problem is nobody really wants to do anything about it or they don't think it's a problem simply because it doesn't affect them. As someone with similar issues I would like to see more support for people like myself but I doubt anything too substantial will happen within my lifetime. That's not even a question, yes. Yes they should.
life of pi: if you were stranded, would you be able to take care of yourself?

Complaining, anxiety, procrastination and self doubt.

Future plans, all the things to see and experience.
